I am having gestational diabetes, sugar is high, please suggest diet plan for sugar control.

I am having gestational diabetes, sugar is high, please suggest diet plan for sugar control.
Hi First of all congratulations for your little one. Check your blood sugars atleast once a day. Your fasting blood sugar should be between 70-90 mg/dl and after meals it should be 110-140 mg/dl. Have small meals every 2-3 hrs. Eat high protein diet like lots of sprouts, paneer, channa. Avoid carbohydrates like rice based food, pastas, biscuits. Drink lots of water and eat in lots of salads. Don't take fruit juices, eat the fruit. Drink atleast 2 glasses of milk a day. Since your blood sugar is high, do not control it by starving or dieting too much, this can affect your little ones health. Eat adequately but eat the right food. If there is a need for insulin go with it, do not hesitate as insulin is very safe. Lastly exercise regularly.

Eat whole grain protein and fat free or no fat dairy products. Drink a glass of fat free milk with your maize. Focus on carbohydrates, sugar and starch or both carbohydrates. The total amount of carbohydrates you eat is more important for blood glucose control than this source. Try to drink three cups of chamomile tea a day when you're feeling anxious. Chamomile contains two chemicals that promote relaxation. Eat 2 cups celery, onions, or a mixture of the two, raw or cooked, with your meals for a week or two. Both vegetables contain large amounts of potassium and folic acid, deficiencies of which can cause nervousness. Keep a diary to track -- and then eliminate -- events that might trigger anxiety. Also make note of foods, as some of the things you eat may be responsible for the symptoms. Indulge in noncompetitive exercising, such as walking, bicycling, or swimming. It's good for you, both physically and emotionally. Meditate, pray, or indulge in a mental flight of fantasy. Do whatever it takes to give your mind a break. Breathe in, breathe out. Slowly, deeply. This is relaxing. Chat with a friend, a psychotherapist, a clergyman. Talking about your anxiety can relieve it. Make a mental list and check it twice. It doesn't matter what's on the list. This is simply an exercise in repetitive thinking that can distract you from what's causing the anxiety.

How to get chubby cheeks? What are the steps I need to follow if I want to get chubby cheeks?

How to get chubby cheeks? What are the steps I need to follow if I want to get chubby cheeks?
Hye. Trying to get chubby cheeks does not mean piling up fat on your face. You can achieve it by toning your facial skin. Also, a good balanced diet is crucial to healthy looking skin. A few natural techniques, exercises and home remedies can give your cheeks a plumper and chubby look. 1. Facial yoga is the best way to get chubby cheeks and tone sagging skin.  2. You can also blow balloons to work out your cheek muscles. You can even perform this exercise by blowing into imaginary balloons. 3. Olive Oil, shea butter and ghee works as the perfect moisturizer for dry skin and ensures soft skin. It also helps prevent wrinkles, tightens skin and makes cheeks look younger. 4. Fenugreek can also help you get chubby yet firm cheeks. Apply methi powder paste as a mask for 10 minutes a day. 5. Rose water should be applied on cheeks before going to bed, and leave it on overnight. The next morning, rinse it off with warm water. Repeat this remedy once daily. 6. Honey helps the skin retain moisture so it looks healthier and plumper. Adding honey to your diet or applying as a pack on cheeks, both are beneficial.  7. Massage your face with cold milk to make skin appear fuller. Avoid smoking and drinking as these habits can cause skin to lose elasticity and make you look older than your age. Drink an ample amount of water throughout the day to keep your body well hydrated. Put sunscreen on your face to protect the skin from harmful ultraviolet rays. Eat foods like nuts and seeds with healthy fats to get smooth and healthy skin.
