It is normal. But why the test was advice, I do not know. Generally in your age group the test is not required. Thanks.

Hi lybrate-user to gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.

Hi 1. Use amla (gooseberry) juice on scalp and also to drink. 2. Mix curry leaves with coconut oil and heat up and let it cool. Massage scalp with this oil. 3. Apply hair packs like Egg with Yogurt, Banana. 4. Have a lot of green leafy vegetables and fruits rich in Vitamin C. 5. Protein is the most important element for maintaining hair health. Make sure your diet in protein rich sources like eggs, fish, chicken, soybean, sprouts, pulses and grains. 6. Zinc, iron & copper promote healthy hair. Some sources of this are – eggs, whole grains, all types of seeds like flax seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, Dry fruits and nuts etc.

Dear Lybrate user. Anger is a natural emotion. It's good to experience all kind of emotions. No emotions are bad. It's just that we need to modulate our expression of anger in a healthy way. Please make a note of anger situation. Try to understand the reasons for that. Make a diary. Write about the anger situation, what thoughts you had at that time, what feelings you had. This will help you evaluate the cause and you will be better able to deal with it. Another important thing after identifying the anger triggers try to avoid those situation. Give yourself space to relax. Try these methods, if things still trouble you try meeting a counselor. Take care.

Skipping lunch is causing fall in blood sugar levels and hence low energy. Take tablet pantop empty stomach in morning. Take small frequent meals. Take fresh seasonal fruits and salads in small quantities at short intervals. Get liver and kidney function tests done to rule out any illness.

I have been diagnosed of a cervical fibroid in an ultrasound report. The report states as follows - There is evidence of well defined hypoechoic lesion measuring 38.3 mm × 26.8 mm seen in cervix. The lesion appeared to be connected with endometrium - s/o? Polyp? Cervical Fibroid. I am 32 years of age and married for 4 years and have been suffering excessively high bleeding with huge clots during my periods since last 2-3 years. My periodical cycle is normal and occurs within 25-28 days. However, because of the excessive bleeding I am suffering a lot. My hemoglobin has been extremely low all these years and in my latest report it is 7.2. This has been making me suffer a lot. I would like to know the various options that I may have including surgery, types of surgery and options other than surgery. I would want the fibroid to dissolve naturally, however I am still open to all options. I have never conceived till date and I also have thyroid and I am taking 100 mg of Thyronorm currently. Please advise. Thanks.

I frequetly suffer from mouth ulser. What should I need to do give your opinion. Thnx.

Dentist, Bangalore
Hi. Can understand your concern. As per your complain there is no specific reason found which causes mouth ulcers and the treatment for mouth ulcers is based on relieving the symptoms. If you have pain you can use numbing gels like orabase gel, mucopain gel. Avoid spicy and hot food as it can be irritating. Avoid sour food as it can lead to aggravating the ulcers and relapses. Drink enough water to keep yourself hydrated. Do saline gargles. Take a multivitamin like zincovit for 15 days. Hope your query is solved.

In my face lot of pimples are there What should I do for removing pimples in Home medicine.

In my face lot of pimples are there What should I do for removing pimples in Home medicine.
Please use Tea tree oil which is excellent for treating acne and pimples. It has antibacterial properties that help fight the bacteria that cause these skin problems. Plus, its soothing properties help reduce the redness and inflammation of pimples. It also helps dry out blackheads and whiteheads. Just dip a cotton ball in tea tree essential oil and dab it on the affected area. Rinse your face after 15 to 20 minutes. Another option is to mix a few drops of tea tree oil in 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel. Apply it on your pimples and blemishes, leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse it off. Note: Steer clear of tea tree oil if you have sensitive skin. For further queries get back to me.
