Hi This is called as halitosis. It can be due to gum related problems such as gingivitis or periodontitis. Get a dental evaluation. For the time being use chlorhexidine mouth washes before and after every meal.

Dear tooth ache can really be annoying and I can completely understand your predicament. However since you have not given any specific information about the pain, let me tell you that pain in your teeth can be due to a variety of reasons. The most common being dental caries or tooth decay, commonly called as" cavities. However the pain can also arise due to gum/gingival diseases, erupting last molar etc. Therefore I will advise you to consult a dentist urgently so that he can examine you properly find the cause of the problem and then do the needful. Regards.

Don't eat it more than once a day. Clean your teeth properly after you eat or drink anything. Get you teeth x-rayed to determine the extent of decay. Get your cavities filled accordingly with or without root canal treatment.

Hello sir, I have been suffering from gingivitis three days, please give suggestions.
Hi lybrate-user, Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person. DENTAL TIPS: - Visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

You don't go a day without cleaning your teeth, right? Then why leave the tongue dirty? A dirty tongue equals a dirty breath and development of tongue plaque. Clean your tongue daily with the help of a proper tongue scraper and remove that plaque and freshen your breath.

Hello, Use Homeodent toothpaste twice daily, morning and night before sleep. Use this home remedy to get strong teeth :- 1. Add a little water to ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder to make a paste. Brush your teeth with it, a few times a week. 2. Alternatively, prepare a paste with 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder and ½ teaspoon each of salt and mustard oil. Massage it on your teeth and gums once daily. 3. You can also boil ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder in 1 cup of water, allow it to cool and use it as a mouthwash once daily.

I have hole in my teeth it's big, is it possible to filling or have to go for root canal treatment.

I have hole in my teeth it's big, is it possible to filling or have to go for root canal treatment.
Hi lybrate-user, the hole in your tooth is actually a cavity which may have progressed to an advanced stage. Regardless of whether it pains or not, it is likely that it may require root canal treatment. However, sometimes large cavities can be filled using a soothing base material, depending upon the extent of involvement of tooth structure. To decide between filling and root canal treatment, it will be advisable for you to get an xray of the concerned tooth done. Even though there maybe no symptoms at this stage, the tooth can start aching anytime in the future. Therefore, I advise you to get the diagnosis done and the treatment initiated at the earliest.

Hi, I am 23years old, I am suffering from teeth problem, between two teeth, there is a gape. So what can I do.
Hi lybrate-user, you have a condition called as diastema. In diastema, there is spacing between two or more teeth which compromises aesthetics. This problem is very common and can easily be corrected by orthodontic treatment or braces. You wil be required to visit an orthodontist. Depending upon the gap, braces may be required for 6months or 1year. But the results are permanent and lasting, and will help improve your smile. These days, tooth colored braces and all sorts of aesthetic wires are available, which not compromise your looks, unlike the conventional metallic braces. I advise you to get the treatmenti initiates as early as possible. The jaw bone is softer and more moldable when young, due to which braces in younger people result in better outcomes compared to their older counterparts. So the sooner, the better. All the best.

I have developed small bulge like structure in my mouth near molar teeth of left side. And I can feel very bad smell. And gums of that teeth have become somewhat loose Also a white material is produced. Is it the indication of tooth decay or plaque development? How can I reverse it or avoid it and get rid off of bad smell?

BDS
Dentist, Mumbai
I have developed small bulge like structure in my mouth near molar teeth of left side.
And I can feel very bad smell....
A small bulge like structure near the molar tooth can be a dental abscess either of tooth or of gum origin. Please get your teeth thoroughly examined as you may be in need of a cleaning or some treatment for your tooth. Commonly such abscess or bulge as you call it will result from a infected tooth which has been infected due to a cavity formation in the tooth.

For complete oral health, keeping your tongue clean is as important as keeping your teeth clean. Remove tongue plaque and bad breath by using a proper tongue scraper daily.

Flossing is as important as brushing on a daily basis. Taking the floss all the way down to the point where the teeth and gums meet is the appropriate way of doing it.
