I would suggest you to get mri ls spine done to find out exact cause of prolonged pain. Accordingly the treatment can be decided.

I have sinovitus in my right knee and swelling continuously. How can it be improved

Sinovitis is an inflammation of the synovial fluid. It causes pain while taking stress on joint. Repeated friction movement may aggravate the situation. So avoid doing squatting, kneeling, half kneeling&excessive knee bending activities. Cold pack is beneficial with laser therapy &ultrasonic treatment. First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Hello, diet restriction n exercise is very necessary for control of cholesterol along with medicine below drops help you to maintain normal level. Nl-3 drops 20 drops 3 times a day report after 1 month.

Carotid artery pulsation, it occurs in cases of-: 1. High blood pressure 2. If person is very thin 3. If the artery has been bend in a way where pulse can be prominently felt. If you are not having high b. P and you are not thin you may go to a vascular surgeon. He may gives you best suggestion.

Well actually these sounds are produced when the joint surfaces which are slightly uneven glide on each other. I am 37yrs old, having 2childtens with c-section. 1st born on 14-2-2012, and 2nd was born on 7-6-2013. Yesterday 1st july I was having sever low back pain. I was unable to stand on my feets. Had taken inj. Diclofenac75mg 2amp since yesterday. Still having pain but not like yesterday its 30% cure. Why I have this pain? please need feed back.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I feel tired and weak through out the day. Have pain in both the legs. Follow a good diet, one hour of walking everyday, physical exercise but still do not feel energetic and do not want to do any sort of work. Everytime I want to sit or sleep (drowsiness) a little bit, but when I go to sleep I cant sleep soundly. My bowel movements are good digestion is ok, drinks a lot of water. No fast food, spicy items or indulge in any bad habit (no masturbation), no smoking and alcohol. Have done the blood test everything is normal, Hemoglobin is also normal, Liver and kidney function test are also normal. Have fruits and milk everyday, but still my stamina is very low. Please suggest me what can I do and tell me some medicines which can improve my strength and to feel energetic and cure it completely. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for sharing well! dear lybrate-user, its who you are? that lead life! though its unfortunate I won't want to medicate assertive health n progressive fitness so please be with your coach for exercice it can lead your sleep and hunger well, till then ashwagandha tab/powder 1-2gms with milk in morn n eve before bed work for u. Apply coco oil on palm, feet naval n head before bed. Feedback expeted after 8 days. Feel free to contact.

I am just 20 years old & my knee pains (only right knee) mostly when I sit with folding legs for longer time. It started recently about 2-3 months ago when I came home after started playing cricket after a long time. I thought pain will disappear as time goes on but its still there.

Dear , I am Dr. Saseendar, specialist orthopaedic surgeon from chennai. Where exactly in the knee is your pain? is it on the knee cap in front of your knee? or is it below the knee cap? do you have pain during playing or when you kick a ball or run? I suspect it is a strain on your patella or your patellar tendon. Kindly let me know the details. Since the pain has been there for so long, it is advisable to get x rays for your knee.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hi, this is Dr. Mathur from new delhi, welcome to lybrate. Your ankle pain could arise due to a number of reasons. If u've had a twisting injury to the ankle, incomplete healing of the injury can lead to persistent ankle pain. Low vitamin d levels or elevated uric acid levels can also cause ankle pain. Moreover if u're walking abnormally and putting more weight on one leg as compared to the other that can also lead to ankle pain. So get your vitamin d and uric acid levels (blood tests) fasting and get an x ray of the ankle ap and lateral views. Revert back with reports.

Hi I can understand your problem. 1) apply hot and cold foementation. 2) learn strengthening exercise of quadriceps and hamstring from physiotherapist. 3) do regular streching calf muscles. 4) wear comfortable foot wear.

Do some stretching exercises of upper back and lateral sides. Sometimes muscle sores develop, it can be due to one side sleeping or lying, sitting incorrect position for long time. Muscle gets tight so before running do warmup exercises of body also. Take hot water formentation too.
