Hi there are multiple causes for shoulder pain like. Muscular, tendonitis, ligament tear etc. It will be good if you visit physiotherapist or orthopaedic doctor for diagnosis. Hi. You can do the x-ray of your left knee (AP & Lateral - Standing) and visit nearby orthopaedic doctor. Ignoring pain knee joint can damage the joints more. It may also effect on right one. That's why you can visit as possible as earlier. So that we your treatment can be proceed further. In cold mostly knee joint pain may occur due to lack in Vit D3.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Hello Lybrate user. It seems that you hav done the related diagnosis. As you mentioned above ther r possibility you have developed early osteoarthritis in both knee. Increase intake of natural sources of calcium n protein. Reduce all activity which r pain aggravating. Apply cold packs or icing for 20 min 2 time a day .do quadriceps static n slr exercises. Put towel roll under your inme ,press roll down using knee ,it's surrounding muscles. Hold it for 1 5 sec for 10 repetition for thrice a day n do hamstring stretches. What To Expect When Recovering From Broken Bones?

Breaking a bone is, needless to say, a painful experience. But, when people have their broken bone put in a cast, they tend to forget about it until it comes out. This is quite wrong! A person would want to be up and running but does not find that the hand or the leg as it has been cast up. For weeks, the person's hand or leg barely moves and also shrinks up quite a lot!

There is a lot of pain, not only due to shrinkage when a fracture occurs. The occurrence itself causes what is known as acute pain. Then, for some weeks, the sub-acute pain just seems to persist, to the person having the fracture. The reason for this is the fact that the bone and the soft tissue are in the process of healing.

Chronic pain is a worry as it does not go away even after the healing process has ended. In order to make sure that there is a quick recovery and there is no chronic pain which is experienced at all, some of the proverbial leaves need to be taken out of the book of physiotherapy.

To start with, sometime between a fortnight and a month after the injury or the bone break has taken place, the doctor will wish to see some movement in the soft tissue that has broken around the bone. The great advantage of this is that while it may be a little bit of effort and time involved, there are great benefits by the way of less pain and swelling as the blood flows as normally as is possible.

If such movements are not done, a person can have related soreness, which can be even more of a pain! An example of this would be a broken foot or ankle causing the stiffness of the knee. When a person is already in pain, adding to his or her trouble makes no sense at all, does it?

Post one month mark, the physiotherapist would want to see more functioning so that the normal levels can be attained. A person who has a fracture should not despair as if he or she is willing to stick to the schedule given by the physiotherapist and perform all the exercises that have been set out, he or she will be back at the normal level much sooner than would have been expected!

Also, getting active again will reduce the risk of a repeat injury, and that is enough justification to do so!

Take bland semi solid diet like rice with yogurt, porridge, barley, fruit (avoid skin/seeds) custard, avoid spicy, oily and fatty food. Take light and easily digestible diet. Take meals at short interval to avoid nausa/vomiting. Take zeera decoction everyday and also do take a calcium rich diet. Avoid meat/poultry/egg for 2 months 4. Drink plenty of water/lime juice/ glucose and also sago sweets and sago items. Water/ coconut water, sugar cane/ fresh fruit (avoid citrus fruits) juice, milk 5. Take adequate rest and repeat vidal tests. Prevention typhoid is a bacterial infection affecting the gastrointestinal system and is due to fecal contamination of food, milk and water. It can be prevented by 1. Avoiding contaminated food and water/milk from out side sources like junk food etc 2 use purified drinking water and have warm home made food, 3. Avoid fly contamination of food, maintain food hygiene 4, properlyl wash your hands before taking food 5. Wash vegetable, fruit before consuming. Do consult me for a detailed diet chart.

I understand your feelings. No need to frustrate. Pl tell me if it was lumbar anaesthesia during section? For other pains including lumbar if you have uric acid, ESR, RA , X-ray reports etc - to assess cause. For the time being pl take pure turmeric in warm milk or water. Have light massage by Ayurvedic vatnashak oil e.g. Mahavishgarbh oil by warming it. Pl report in a week with reports for further management. Be stress free by little practice of Pranayam and Meditation.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Irregular periods r quite common in this age group, But you should use effective contraception as still there are some chances of getting pregnant. Do a urine pregnancy test yourself. If its negative. Then let me know I will prescribe you medicine for white discharge and morning sickness.

Most of elderly people suffer from such problems and I m proud of child like you who care. For sugar and bp whatever med she is taking should continue. Slowly switch to madhurakshak choorna 1 tsp with warm water 30 minutes before food. For b. P. Please take sarpagandha vati 2 tab + dhamasa choorna 1/2 tsp with water twicetwice a day. For knees please do hot fomentation over knees and then apply brihat guduchiguduchi oil + mahanarayan oil (both mixed) with gentle massage for about 10 minutes. Avoid direct ac or cooler for sometime after massage. Cont. For 15 days and report. Light diet and walk should be managed. Pathya (, i. E. Avoidables: curd, sour food)

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Inform after 10 days.

Hello. These are signs of early osteoarthritis. The pressure on your knees increase a number of times when you squat in an indian style toilet or sit cross-legged. Try to shift to a western type toilet if you don't want a very painful knee at an early age. Apart from this you need quadriceps strengthening exercises to keep your knees pain free. Good luck.
