In many cases, simple changes in your diet like taking high fibre foods and lifestyle can provide relief from irritable bowel syndrome. Although your body may not respond immediately to these changes, your goal is to find long-term, not temporary, solutions. I will inform you on how to make diet, lifestyle changes, make you understand instructions for taking medication because it won't work if you don't take it as directed. Consult privately for a holistic dietary therapy to solve your problems do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.

I wake up every day at 4 am and I feel intensely to pee or I got gas in stomach. Due to this my sleep got disturb and I am not able to sleep until 8 am please suggest me what should I do? What could be the possible reason for this? I have also developed dark circles under my eyes. Are these circles developed because I use my phone too much or it is because I don't take sound sleep? I also snore at night. Please tell me what to do.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
You have to avoid drinking 2 hours before sleep time and try to get up in between and pee . Sleep on your left side for snoring .For dark circles Grate one or two raw potatoes to extract the juice. Soak a cotton ball in the juice and place it over your closed eyes. Make sure the juice covers the dark circles under your eyes as well as the eyelids. ... Instead of potato juice, you can also use thick potato slices to remove dark circles.

Sir, I am suffering from rectum pain. I have consulted doctor before 2-3 months; that time they said that It was not piles, only there is uneven surfaces on my rectum wall was noticed. They gave me some capsule like medicine to insert in rectum. But it didn't get cured. And I am still feeling pain in my rectum/ anus in all day; sometimes severe; I need your kind help and suggestion about which ointment to use and which medicine to take. Thanks a lot Sir!

MBBS, MS - General Surgery
General Surgeon, Hyderabad
I'm unable to conclude by the term uneven surfaces in anorectal region, it could be internal piles or a growth, you need to visit a proctologist to have a proper diagnosis for proper targeted treatment. If proctologist does not find any cause, then you may be having proctalgia fugax, where some have pain inspite of not having any problems. I'm sorry I can't prescribe any medicine except xylocaine 5% gel/ ointment for local application with applicator until you have a confirmed diagnosis.

Hi. Thanks for the query. You are malnourished and your diet needs to be taken care of. Just cutting out foods or going on a crash diet will not help. You need to have a well balanced healthy nutritious diet to maintain weight as well as health. Firstly it is important to understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals. Take a glass of lime water 10 minutes before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.
