As the pain is directly related with the act of deep breathing, it is because of stretching of thoracic cage having lung coating pleura and intercostal muscles. The cold you are suffering from is the basic cause. If there is no high grade fever or distress in breathing, there is no need to worry. Simple anlgesic will help in relieving you of this pain.

We do not need to draw blood while checking blood pressure. So there is no question of Clots here. Either you did not understand or you are not able to convey the problem properly. I will suggest you to go to a local physician and get your mother evaluated for a proper diagnosis.

What is the best medicine for high blood pressure and what are the daily diet routine for heart patient?
Dear lybrateuser, -If you have not started medication yet then follow some lifestyle changes for 2-3 months & see if there is any change in the level(since you have not mentioned your levels , if it is persistently above 140/90 mm of Hg then you will also require a drug to lower your level) -in diet eat more of fibrous foods including fruits, green leafy & seasonal vegetables, wholegrains ,beans ,sprouts, legumes ,peas ,nuts, have low fat dairy, lean meats -avoid fried ,processed & junk foods, also foods containing saturated & trans fats( healthy fats are found in fish such as tuna, mackerel, walnuts , olive & canola oil, avocado) -restrict salt & sugar intake, avoid pickes, papad & other fried snacks, also avoid alcohol & tobacco if you consume -for medication consult a doctor as it requires a constant monitoring of your BP to know its effectiveness & the dose required after doing your complete investigations. -

They can be frightening as when you palpate, you heart beats so hard that it even skips a beat and the sensations are so strong that they can be felt all through your chest, neck, and throat.

Palpitations are also common especially in young people because of abnormal electrical circuits in heart from birth. However, they may have normal hearts on Echo. Such palpitations are curable by a nonsurgical methods called Radiofrequency Ablation.
