Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hello, Everyone wants to age gracefully! It is that phase of life when we start losing internal as well as external health, strength and elasticity of the tissues and cells. One can delay this process of aging which is in our hands which can be achieved by the following tips: 1. Avoid the sun. Apply a good sunscreen with SPF-30 and apply a good moisturizer before application of sunscreen. 2. Don't smoke. Cigarette smoke ages skin -- mostly by releasing an enzyme that breaks down collagen and elastin, important components of the skin. 3. Get adequate sleep. When you don't get enough sleep, the body produces excess Stress Hormones, a hormone that breaks down skin cells. Get enough rest and you'll produce more Happy Hormones, which helps skin remain thick, more elastic and less likely to wrinkle. 4. Sleep on your back. Sleeping on your side increases wrinkles on cheeks and chin, while sleeping face-down gives you a furrowed brow. 5. Wear sunglasses. It will protect skin around the eyes from sun damage. 6. Eat more soy. The soy has properties which may help protect or heal some of the sun's photoaging damage. Soy-based supplement (other ingredients included fish protein and extracts from white tea, grapeseed, and tomato, as well as several vitamins) improves skin's structure and firmness. 7. Eat more fruits and vegetables. They contains antioxidant compounds which fights damage caused by free radicals (unstable molecules that can damage cells), which in turn helps skin look younger and more radiant, and protects against some effects of photoaging. 8. Be Happy. Last but not the least, if you are genuinely happy that would reduce the levels of stress hormones in your body which is responsible for tissue damage! My daughter is 2 month old. She is pre term baby (32 week. She is on breast feeding and formula feeding. From 7-8 day she bring out milk through her mouth nd sometime through nose. Keep her on breast milk feed exclusively till 6 months of age. By now she must have gain weight to about 3 kg which is if she is born at normal time of 40 weeks in womb. Bringing out milk is usually normal regurgitaion. Burping is solution for regurgitation and gas.

Even though I'm thin, i've big fatty Butt and it wag while walking. Due to this I'm feeling embarrassed in public and in friends circle. Two year ago I didn't have this. I think it could have become fat after I ran 6-8 km for 7 months regularly last year. ●I started sleeping with folded legs ●.I started masturbation (Rubbing) over the pillow. What are the symptoms for dengue fever?
The principal symptoms of dengue are: -high fever and at least two of the following: -severe headache -severe eye pain (behind eyes) -joint pain -muscle and/or bone pain -rash -mild bleeding manifestation (nose or gum bleed, petechiae, or easy bruising) Watch for warning signs as temperature declines 3 to 5 days after symptoms/fever began, as this is the most dangerous period when platelet counts decline significantly. Report immediately to hospital if any of the following warning signs appear: -severe abdominal pain or persistent vomiting -red spots or patches on the skin -bleeding from nose or gums -vomiting blood -black, tarry stools  -drowsiness or irritability -pale, cold, or clammy skin -difficulty breathing

You need a high protein high calorie diet. Eat more protein food. Eat nuts and good fats. Eat fit & lite oil of doctor's choice 20-25 ml/day. Eat ghee, butter, paneer, milk product, cheese, chocolates. Eat various nuts/ day 2-3 no. Eat oats, sattu, ragi. And complex carbohydrate. You need to take soya seed. You need to take mass gaining foods. You may drink supplement also.

Protein intake is must to increase bulk in body-builders. Totally avoid fat of any kind and any form for a proper shape of the muscles. Also a good trainer is required for a desired result - if not then its useless to blame food-habits.

Hello- you have to correct your daily schedule and diet to prevent hair fall. A) avoid late night workout and go to bed before 10 pm, as root follicles become dry if you wake up late night. B) avoid fast food and spicy diet. C) avoid chemical shampoo (use shampoo as less as you can) and dye etc. D) increase milk and cows ghee in your diet. E) use mahabhringraj hair oil instead of almond oil and narsimha rasayana 1 tsp twice daily. Your hair fall will stop in few weeks and your hair will become thick and strong.

From past two days I am having severe neck pain with light headache and vomiting. Is cervical spondylosis causing this and what are the methods to avoid it.

Yes if upper cervical vertebrae are involved then you may have symptoms like headache, dizziness and neck pain. In physio we have a treatment for cervical spondylitis so I would recommed you to consult any physio and start taking physio modalities and manipulations to reduce pain and increase mobility. I have specially designed one program as I-care specially in cases of neck and back pain which I have pratically applied on many of my patients and received a very good result. The treatment include: 1. Ice massage - Take ice pain perform massage over the area which is painful and have swelling. Do “to” and “fro” motion. Apply it for 8-10 minutes and then relax your body for another 3-5 minutes. 2. Deep massage - Using your finger tips start kneading your affected area. 3 finger kneading or 2 finger kneading or you can use thumb also for kneading. Once done with kneading again relax your body for 3-5 minutes. 3. Now apply any pain relieving ointment like volini or oraflame etc. Do not massage with the ointment. Just apply it gently involving all the area. Do not penetrate it. Once done with application again relax your body for 3-5 minutes and start performing exercises. Exercises: Because of pain and stiffness your neck range starts decreasing so with the entire treatment program we can help you to make your neck mobile and reduce pain to live happily. 1. Position - Sitting Bend your head forward until you feel stretch behind your neck. Hold for 5-10 secs. And relax. Repeat 5 -10 times. Perform same by taking neck backward and then side ways. Perform the exercises slowly until a stretch is felt. Do not over stretch, perform slowly and gently. 2. Position - Sitting Isometrics: Infront of mirror. Place your both hands on your forehead. Apply contradict pressure from hands towards your head and with your head towards your hands. There should not be any neck moment. Instead an isometric contractions should be there in neck. Hold for 5 sec and relax. Repeat it for 5-10 times. Perform same by placing your hands on the back of your head and giving isometric contractions to make posterior muscles stregthening. Then same as with placing one hand on right side and giving pressure from hand to head and vice versa. 3. Position - Sitting Stretching - Bend your head forward and and then gently pull your head further by applying pressure from your hands. A stretch is felt on back of your neck. Same a stretch your side neck muscles. 4. While exhaling push your upper rib down with your one hand and then tilt your head and give a slight stretch by rotating your head to opposite side. Hold for 5 sec and then relax. Repeat for 5-10 secs. 5. Neck and back straight, keep your chin in. Hold for 5 sec and feel a stretch in your neck. Relax. Repeat for 5-10 times. 6. Lie on bed with towel roll under your neck. Press the roll into the floor by using your neck muscles. Hold for 5 sec and relax. Perform 5-10 times. Advice - 1. Use very thin pillow while sleeping. 2. Do not sit for long time with your neck forward bending. 3. Lying on bed and reading book or newspaper should be avoided. 4. If there will be any pain while performing exercises or headache stop doing exercise and consult physio right away. 5. Sit in erect posture without bending your back or neck. 6. Position your desktop so that it should be just infront of your neck you do not have to bend your hands or neck. Please contact me if you face any problem while performing the I-care at home. The exact cause of hair loss may not be fully understood, but it's usually related to one or more of the following factors: Family history (heredity) Hormonal changes Medical conditions Medications. Stop washing, coloring, or perming their hair, but these things won’t impact the course of hair loss or speed up the process. Avoid Washing hair with chemical content shampoo. Take vitamin rich diet regularly.

How to cure hair loss.
Is your hair loss accompanied with greying of hair and have they become very thin? your hair needs a very high protein well-rounded diet. Hair and nails are the last organs to get nutrition in the body, hence only if all the organs get sufficient nutrition and proteins, only then the remaining nutrition would be used for hairs. A strand of hair is composed of mostly protein, which means your hair needs protein to grow. Hence a therapeutic diet prescribed by a registered dietitian can help a lot in hair growth. Besides diet excessive stress, current/past dandruff and some medication are conclusively known to retard hair growth and promote hair loss. - cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. Also harsh treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. - excessive exposure to the sun, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Use a live in conditioner during the rains to protect it from the humidity and wash and oil it regularly to maintain a healthy scalp. I may also prescribe medications like biotin or minox. That are proven to help in hair growth and repair.
