Hello Lybrate user she is suffering with cervical spondylitis. She should take ayurvedic medicines and panchkarma therapy. She will get amazing results within a week. Go to any nearby panchkarma centre and see a good ayurvedic physician.

Dear, According to Ayurveda joint pain is known as Sandhigata vata. With increase in age vata dosha is predominant in human body that is why with aging disease caused by vata dosha increases in body. Joint pain is a common symptom with many possible causes. Joint Pain and Arthritis are the one of the most devastating conditions faced by individuals, particularly elderly women today. When there is pure Vata dosha involvement (a pain without swelling or discoloration) then the massage with medicated ayurvedic oil is quite useful & supplement is helpful in balancing bodily humors ?vata, which is responsible dosha for Sandhigata vata . Pain killers are quick but not dependable in the long run. These may create side effects. I would suggest you to undergo snehan, swedan, virechan, massage or foot massage etc as per ayurveda principles at some good ayurveda hospital. For the time being mildly purgate, take hingwastak powder mixed in ghee within meals, drink hot water, take sutz bath, dashmool based treatment.

Have back problem whenever I sit anywhere my backbone started paining. Please suggest some medicine.

Have back problem whenever I sit anywhere my backbone started paining. Please suggest some medicine.
Hi dear lybrate user if you have back pain since long time you must always consult a doctor in physical who can examine and tell you why this is happening. But if it is a mild and pain of recent origin, modern medicine would suggest you some painkillers and muscle relaxants, but these have temporary results only and long term usage of these medicine have side effects. So the best treament would be homeopathic medicine (like bryonia and rhustox are common homeopathic medicine) for internal medication and along with this take phyisiotherapy session for 3-4 days only and you will be completely fine.

Problem in joint pain of legs while sitting down on floor cause pain in both legs and pain in joint also.
Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.
