Hi, I am 30 years old and I have knee joints pain since last 8 months. The pain starts the moment I start running or put some stress on my knees by excercise. This pain started when I joined gym and started running on treadmill. Please help me to cure this problem. Many thanks in advance for help.

Sudden severe exercises can start symptoms like these. Take rest for few days. Restart gradually&build up stamina. Do hot fomentation. Any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days x 5days contact me again if needed.

In football game there is twisting movement on knee jt that puts strain on ligaments which may become painfull. So better take rest for sometime, do hot fomentation and some mild analgesic. If not relieved get mri done to find out the cause.

This is inadequate information rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Physiotherapy usually helps any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. It may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch. Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises hamstring stretching calf muscles stretching contrast bath.

Rest and do hot fermentation posture correction must. Avoid strain full activity till relief. Do stretching exercise of spine and legs. If it work then ok other wise physiotherapy treatment.

I have been suffering from severe pain in my left leg muscle for last one month. Consulting with a MD Neuro I have been taking Gabantip at 100/10 and Neurobion forte tab for last 20 days. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do stretching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you dont get relief see a physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.

1. Avoid intake of pitta-aggravating foods like hot, penetrating, or excessively salty and spicy foods, as well as chilies, garlic, pickles, fermented and preserved foods. 2. Increase intake of foods that are sweet and have a cooling effect on the body, like milk, butter, purified butter, almonds, raisins, black gram, licorice and asparagus. 3. Take 2 tab tenex forte, 1tsf dhatupaushtik churna twice a day with milk for 1month. 4. Do sarvangasna, kandasana, gomukhasna, vajrasana, mandukasana 10 min daily each pose early morning.

She should focus on weight control which is pretty much ok and do exercises regularly do build up quadriceps muscles. I personally feel more active life style will help her feel better and lessen her pains. Personally do not feel that medicines really work except pain killers which should be judiciously used. This Is we assume its only ageing osteoarthritis and there is no post injury acute onset that resulted in internal damage to the structures.(meniscus/Ligament ). Get her vitamins checked and encourage exercises.

Hey doc, my friend has changed alot, she doesn't laugh alot this days and she isn't her same. Few months back she started self harming and continuously cried. It all happened after some personal issues. She doesn't feel like playing or talking, she would rather sit in her room and read stories from her phone. Sometimes she doesn't even eat food the whole day, she cries to sleep and she has given up all hopes. She doesn't know what to do anymore. What should she do? What happened to her? She is under depression. Try to find out the cause. She needs assurance and compassion.She needs professional counselling as the problem is somewhat difficult to be handled without professional assisstance at this point.Do not lose hope . Weight loss is definitely will help you b'coz it weight bearing joint. For acute pain tk physiotherapy treatment and exercises it will help you you can avoid surgery if your knee is not completely damage physio is best option to reduce pain and movement.

Hi, I am age 22 and having pain in hamstring maybe it is pulled normally is does not hurt but I kick and do cartwheel it pains and I can not even finish cartwheel or a kick. It been 2 weeks now thought it will heal but nothing.

Hi, Take tab. Rhukot 2 tabs 3 times a day and 2 tsf of Maharasnadi Kashaya mixed with equal quantity of water, 3 times a day after food. Apply Dashaanga lepa on the affected joints at night and wash it the next day morning. Rhukot gel may be applied for pain during the day time. Avoid potatoes, sweet potatoes, sweet pumpkin, peas, channa, etc food which aggrevates the pain.
