Dear, are you having these problems only in summer? the headache and vomiting in response to going out on the sun could be due to migraine. Or it be a case of food poisoning or a viral flu. Can you specify exactly what are your symptoms and give a detailed medical history? for headache and body-ache, you could take paracetamol 500mg as required but not to exceed 3 times a day. For vomiting, take tab ondansetron (4mg) twice a day as required. Also, take ors - one packet in 1 liter of clean water and have such 2-3 bottles in a day. The dose mentioned above is assuming that your weight is at least 45-50 kg and that you are not allergic to any medicines. If this is not the case, then seek a medical opinion before taking them.

Hello, Diet is usually not the offending cause for irregularity, its the hormonal imbalances so you need to get a hormonal profile done sooner along with thyroid and prolactin levels and please follow up with reports. Papaya per se cases no harm to any cells of the body, so its a myth.

Hi, Follow the following medication and guidelines----Start the treatment with single dose of Tuberculinum 1M. After 1 week of this take the below:- * First week- you should take Baryta carb 1M, 5 drops , single dose, morning empty stomach. *second week- take Thuja 1M, drops, single dose , morning empty stomach. *third week- Again take Baryta carb 1M, 5 drops, single dose, morning empty stomach. *fourth week- take Thuja 1M, 5 drops , single dose, morning empty stomach. *Take Rite -hite tablets from SBL, 2-2 tabs , two times daily. *Bio combination no. 21, 4 -4 tabs daily , two times. *Mix two tablespoons of ashwagandha powder in a glass of warm cow’s milk. 1. Add sugar or jaggery according to your taste and mix well. 2. To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1.Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2.Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a.Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B.Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C.If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D.Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E.Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F.You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. In general, you lose about 50-100 strands of hair each day, but the loss is not visible as new hair grow in their place. However, if you lose more than a 100 strands in a day and more than 200 strands on the day you shampoo, you may be suffering from what is known as excessive hair fall. Apply coconut oil and do not use shampoo. Only dry the excess Certain factors or reasons may cause you to lose hair at an alarming rate, which are, 1. Thyroid problems Your thyroid is responsible for your body’s overall functioning. The hormones (primarily T4 and T3), which it produces help in regulating metabolic activities. Problems with your thyroid gland can cause your hormone levels to rise or fall to unhealthy levels, which can result in hair fall. You can improve the functioning of your thyroid gland through a diet rich in calcium, iodine, magnesium, protein and Vitamins A, B and C. 2. Scalp infections-Infections of the scalp can also be one of the factors that may cause your hair to fall at an alarming rate. Of the different scalp infections, the ringworm scalp infection is the most common. Although this fungal infection can occur in any part of your body, when it develops on your scalp, you end up losing clumps of hair. Alongside the use of anti-fungal medications, even anti-fungal shampoos and creams can provide you with respite from the problem. 3. Poor diet, Gorging on unhealthy foods or going on a crash diet can result in the lack of essential nutrients in your body, which are required to maintain healthy hair. Furthermore, since hair is made of protein, having a balanced diet consisting of proteins and vitamin- rich foods is a must. 4. Stress gives rise to certain conditions such as alopecia areata, telogen effluvium (hair loss caused post-pregnancy or surgery) and trichotillomania (an impulsive need to pull your hair out), which can cause you to lose significant amount of hair. To avert a hair loss crisis caused by stress, make it a point to do some simple stress-reducing exercises, such as meditation or breathing exercises. 5. Using hair styling products like hair colours and straighteners can cause you to experience hair fall problems. Your hair not only becomes dull and dry due to their use, but also becomes weak and brittle, leading to a gradual loss of hair. Regular oiling and use of homemade hair masks are some of the ways you can try to counter the negative effects of these hair styling products.

Weight gain depends on many factors such as genetic, hereditary, hormonal, previous weight records and many more. Even medicines & supplements will not work in isolation. Try to eat balanced diet with proper combination of carbs, good fat & protein in your diet. Help yourself with more of nuts & dairy products. Taking only 3 meals per day will not be enough to gain weight. Include high calorie snacks in between your main meals such as dark chocolates, cakes, nuts, cheese, sweetened beverages. Morover to gain weight it's very important to be in positive energy balance under the supervision of diet expert.

Dear lybrate user. 1) do yogasan regularly (pacchimottasan, halasan, sarvangasan, pavanmuktasan, bhujangasan) upto 15-30 minutes. 2) walk upto 4-5 kilometers daily. 3) do exercises like running, jogging, swimming, aerobics, cycling. Do all these things for 30 days. It gives you good result. Reply to me for further suggestions. Thanks.

Hello U can apply ayurvedic ubtan once a day specifically after sunlight exposure. It is to be scrubbed on exposed parts of body for a minute or two. Wet d parts and scrub moist ubtan on it and clean with water. Once a day softly massage with anti wrinkle cream of patanjali ayurved.

Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one cup of water..If you use freshly ground black pepper, then just add one-quarter teaspoon...Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach....Do this daily for at least three months

As evident by data given above,child seems to be severly malnourished,The child who is not eating sufficient food is likely to be constipated.Start giving semisolid diet at frequent intervals & gradually shifting to solid diet rich in proteins & fats.Expect good results in 3 months.As weight starts picking up all symptoms will fade up.

Dear Sir, A little brief about my father. My father is 49 years old. Since 2000 my father started experiencing strength loss in his legs and hands. His age at that time was 31 years. As time passed, his conditions progressed steadily. We went to every best hospitals in India. Every doctor Gave up on him. Now the condition is that he cannot walk 10 steps even on his own. He needs to have support of someone's shoulder to walk and go to the toilet. That's maximum work he does. He cannot sit on floor. His bed is even at certain height which is more than usual beds that we have. If he has to sit, someone has to hold his hand and support his back and make him sit. That to he can only sit for max 1 hr. After that his bank gets stiff and he needs to lie down to straighten it. He cannot comb his hair as he cannot raise his hand that high. There is no pain in any part of his body. Now we are not able to take him to any doctor or hospital as he cannot travel and we not have enough money for the special treatment that he need while travelling. Even doctors have given up on him. I recently posted on a medical site about my father's situation and A Doctor suggested that he might be having SMA. I would be really grateful if there is anything that we have missed or anything that we could do to help him. We would do anything. PLEASE HELP.
