Take tablet zyloric 100 daily. Initially you will experience more pain for a week, take pirox dt twice daily for one week. Don't take non- vegetarian food. Limit intake of dairy products. You can take pulses in limited quantities. Avoid beans. Symptoms will take 3-4 weeks to recover.

Knee pain is a common complaint that affects people of all ages. Knee pain may be the result of an injury or some other medical conditions including arthritis, patellar tendinitis, acl injury, knee bursitis, torn meniscus, gout and infections. Try some home remedies for your pain- - ice is useful for the control of pain and swelling. It can be applied to the knee for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. The swollen knee should be elevated above the level of the heart while icing. -activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities should be avoided until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting jogging aerobics, dancing playing sport specific exercises will help you improve range of motion, strength, and endurance. It is especially important to focus on strengthening and stretching your quadriceps since these muscles are the main stabilizers of your kneecap. Core exercises may also be recommended to strengthen the muscles in your abdomen and lower back. Also maintaining a healthy body weight to avoid overstressing your knees are very important. -a full history of your problem should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist. Tkr total knee replacement is a good procedure for oa knee, when done in properly selected patient. It gives uniformly good results. In our series we have over 90% satisfied patients. I' m 65 years old, having cervical spondolosis and suffering from jan. 15 onwards with vomitings, using tab. Verbit 16 whenever feeling vomiting sensation. Doing neck exercises. You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your neck pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any radiating upper limb pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias ( electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Please also tell me about any associated symptoms like fever, weight loss etc. What medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

You need to see a good doctor. You need to do some exercises daily. They cannot be prescribed here. For sleep, try unwinding listening to music two hours before bed time. Mix with friends, laugh a lot, practise yogasans, relax. You will get sleep.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Dear sir/madam I am having a very peculiar pain below the neck from past one year. That pain sometimes radiates towards chest region and lower back. Before a year when I realised about the pain I use to do heat therapy at home .sun bath use to give great relief. It use to pain during bathing and walking. I use to have shortness of breath. My bp suddenly rose one day and I had to consult the doc. The doc did not understand the problem. Later I consulted homeopath and general physician but they told me to consult a neurologist. My ECG report and spine x ray report was normal. But bp was 200 which came down after I took medication. I do not have any bp problem. Few months later the bp problem was gone and suddenly my mouth and left part got numb as if I had a paralytic attack this happened twice but that too stopped. Now at present whenever I eat food I get pain exactly below left shoulder. This pain retains till partially food gets digested and till gas comes out. For this I take dabur pain hara from past several months. It gives me relief from gas and the pain too. I get unbearable pain sometimes. After eating my wife massages that area below left shoulder resulting in burping and finally pain comes down. Besides whenever I get depressed or frightened I get severe pain in that area. Honestly speaking I live in a very small town where neurologists are not available. And most important thing is that I am going through financial crisis and currently cannot afford the consultation and treatment charges. I have a very strong feeling that one of my nerves in that region has strained or compressed. I use to do heavy body building exercise about 15 years ago and later I stopped doing it completely. As a result my tummy and chest has increased a lot. Last winter I had severe cold and cough. Due to excessive coughing I use to get severe pain in the abdomen. I use to hold it tightly and then cough. After 15 to 20 days I got this shoulder problem. Could that be a possible reason of this nerve problem I am facing? I request you to show me exercises and perfect diet which can reduce my tummy and make me fit again permanently. At present I do push ups at home. Please don't give me advice of diagnosis, medication or treatment.

Dear Lybrateuser, -Your problem could be due to acidity & the area near shoulder which pains could be due to the muscular stretching & straining due to the exercise which you do -follow a few dietary changes, avoid spicy, fried, junk food, also do not consume more than 1-2 cups of tea/coffee in a day, have a glass of cold milk, chew your food well, do not skip meals & have meals on time -to reduce your tummy, have more of fruits & vegetables (3-4) servings per day, avoid processed white foods instead have whole grains, like wholewheat chapatti/bread, brown rice, jowar, bajra, corn, -have protein rich foods like paneer, curds, beans, milk, sprouts -avoid alcohol, tobacco if you take -do regular walking for 30-40 min, do crunches (lye down & get up & touch your toes), bench presses, swimming if youdo, yoga in the morning for 10-20 min -avoid pushups for a week or two & see whether shoulder problem is better.

Posture correction must do physiotherapy treatment nw after relief do stretching exercise. Avoid long sitting toward bending and lifting weight.

Dear sir, my sister went for usg on19 weeks and that time femur was one week and two days behind and now on 29th week usg femur is 3 weeks and 3 days behind, where humerious is also 3 weeks behind and other long bones are also slight short now its 32 weeks completed and we are confused and even Dr. Is not sure that how baby will be on its birth. Difficult to say if there is any connection with these habits and your back pain. Anyway, you will have to check it out medically to see what that problem is, especially if it has been around for many years. Never neglect back pain because if it can be treated early you may prevent something more sinister from happening. These habits though are of concern because they are worse in combination and by themselves too. If you think it will be difficult to quit these habits, do admit yourself to a rehabilitation center and give up both the habits in one shot. You will be very thankful you did that forever.

Neck pain and headache may be due to muscle tension and strain due to poor posture, working at a desk for too long without changing position, sleeping with your neck in a bad position, jerking the neck during exercise. Headache and pain in neck may be related to each other like due to any mental tension and stress or poor posture during sleep and some time pain may be due to any infection. First you should try following treatment for get relief pain. Apply ice for the first few days. After that, apply heat with a heating pad, hot compress, or by taking a hot shower. Take a few days off from sports, activities that aggravate your symptoms, and heavy lifting. Resume normal activity slowly as your symptoms ease. Exercise your neck every day. Slowly stretch your head in side-to-side and up-and-down motions. Use good posture. Avoid cradling the phone between your neck and shoulder. Change your position often. Don’t stand or sit in one position for too long. Get a gentle neck massage. Use a special neck pillow for sleeping. If still pain will remain same then get a cbc with esr test, x-ray of neck done and share your all reports for further management.
