OSTEOPOROSIS- The Silent Disease

Osteoporosis is a condition where the bones become progressively thin and weak and bone density decreases.Decreased Bone density weakens the bones, making them more porous and unfit for the weight bearing and postural functions. The bones brcome brittle and prone to fracture. As there are no warning signs, it frequently goes undiagnosed until the fracture occurs.

LIFESTYLE FACTORS THAT AFFECT BONE HEALTH :
• Not getting enough Calcium and Vitamin D.
• Non exposure to sunlight – Natural source of vitamin D.
• Losing weight in an unscientific way
• Not eating enough Fruits and vegetables.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

Standing calf stretch Stand away from a wall and. Put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

Hi Take brahmi vati. Smriti sagar ras and praval panchamrit. Make its powder and mix it. Then take these medicines with honey twice a day. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. Do pranayama early morning for freshness. Avoid oily food. Junk food. Avoid alcohol consumption. Eat green vegetables. Walk for at least 45 minutes a day.

Hello, sometimes sleeping on wrong type of beds can also cause pain in the back. Take homoeopathic medicine rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update.

In between long hours of work get up from the seat and do back extension exercises. Use a back support while sitting and maintain proper posture. If symptoms persist then you require treatment.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Kindly show me photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days, then contact me again.

It may be your tailbone. Palpate and feel where is the pain. Management will totally change depending upon part involved and cause behind that.

There can be issue either with spine due to which you can have symptoms like radiating pain, numbness or burning sensations like you are having. good morning these type of pain occurs in two conditions either you had an old injury are you are not doing proper warm up before playing please specify the grade of pain please do proper stretching exercises before playing start taking Tablet Tendocare 3 times a day for 6 weeks thank you
