Hello lybrate-user. Myasthenia Gravis is a neuromusular disorder. If she has problem in eyes thn she has to use eye patch during watching, reading, writing. Avoid foods that requir more chewing. Burning in eye is usually due to dryness &high pollution, you should wash eyes with clean water & should use lubricating eye drops 5-6 times regularly (Refresh liquigel ),with regards.

Hi pavithra if your belly is lowering your self-confidence and giving you sleepless nights, here are the tips to give you flatter and fitter tummy. 1. Add fiber to your diet constipation distends your belly, add veggies and fruits to your daily diet to relieve you of constipation, reduce intakes of refined cereals like maida, noodles, pasta and whole grains instead add dalia and oats. This would relieve you of constipation and bloat to give you a flat tummy. 2. Decrease sodium intake sodium retains water in the body and hence your belly swells up, reduce intake of junk food as it contains a lot of sodium. Stop adding extra salt to dishes, also packaged and processed food contains a lot of salts so better avoid it. 3. Increase potassium foods rich in potassium help you get rid of balancing sodium, fruits are very good source of potassium, adding them to their daily diet not only provides this nutrient but also increase the fiber content of your daily intake 4. Avoid sugar alcohols we do not completely digest these low-calorie sweeteners usually found in flavoured low-calorie drinks, diabetic and sugar-free foods. Bacteria in a large intestine ferment during gas and distension so check food labels and avoid sorbitol, xylitol and lacitol. 5. Diet for EYESIGHT Lutein and zeaxanthin are both important nutrients for eye health, 6 as both of them are found in high concentrations in your macula—the small central part of your retina responsible for detailed central vision. More specifically, lutein is also found in your macular pigment – known for helping to protect your central vision and aid in blue light absorption—and zeaxanthin is found in your retina. Estimated daily dose of lutein is 10 mg per day, and at 2 mg/day for zeaxanthin. Both lutein and zeaxanthin are primarily found in green leafy vegetables, although zeaxanthin is far scarcer than lutein. Kale and spinach are two of the most lutein-rich foods, but you'll also find it in carrots, squash, and other orange and yellow fruits and vegetables. Both lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids called xanthophylls, which give plants and vegetables their yellow-orange color, and the name" lutein" comes from the Latin word" luteus, which means" yellow. Red eyes could be because of many reasons but commonly it is due to allergy or infection. You need to visit eye specialist to differentiate between the two as the treatment is different. Also get your eyes checked for any glass power.

The solution for this problem is its reduced usage and while using computor use in proper light. There is nothing more effective than controlling usage to reduce and negate the effects. You can also reduce the intensity of the computor screen by attaching a filter or by getting an eye-friendly screen. If power is not stable for at least a year it is not advisable to undergo lasik. Wait for another year or 2 and see.

Weak eyesight has multiple factors associated with it. To enumerate a few: (1) refractive error- change of the power of glasses is the commonest cause of weak eyesight. In fact, if you have not used glasses previously, it might be possible that you might need to use them now. (2) age related changes in the lens of the eye-this is generally known as cataract. This is present in varying proportions in a majority of population above 55 years. This means that some degree of cataract is usually found in the age group over 55 years. (3) retina problem-different degenerations of the retina usually lead to weakening of the eyesight. The degeneration may be caused due to progressive age. It may also occur due to a high minus number of the eye (myopia). (4) cornea related problem- cornea is the anterior (front) part of the eye. Certain issues with the cornea may cause weakening of the eyesight. Thus, it would be a good idea to consult an eye specialist in person and get your eyes evaluated for the cause of weakening eyesight. Hope my suggestions help. Take care.
