My baby boy is of 43 days and I am having very low supply of milk. My milk supply is of 5 ml where as baby required 60 ml at a time due to which I have to give him formula milk so Request you to suggest so that I can increase my milk supply as let baby requirement.

Hello, Include dry coconut,sesame seeds,garden cress seeds,asparagus in your daily diet to make sure you drink lots of water and avoid taking stress.

My son, 22 Month old do not eat anything from birth. he never drink milk from the bottle and never eat any stuff like humans since his birth. he is under weight and we are feeding him milk through 20ml syringe and feed him liquid Dalia force fully by directly injecting it in his mouth. we have consulted several pediatrics the recent one is HOD Max hospital delhi but nothing worked out. As per doctors, baby is fine it just require discipline to improve his food habits. My question is, how can food habits be improved when a baby is not interested in taking any eatable stuff inside his mouth and if we forcefully give into his mouth, he never chew or swallow it. Can someone help us....we are facing a really bad luck with my baby..I will really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

you have rightly said that your baby does not eat like humans because you don't treat your baby as human.STOP FORCED FEEDING AND STOP MILK FEED altogether.love your kid but do not feed.you have done the way you wanted,and baby is under weight,now follow the basic principles that are being elaborated.only six meals a day,one meal to be served for twenty minutes only otherwise remove the plate,no grazing in between the meals,no junk food,one large meal followed by small meal and repeat alter natively,if baby does not eat then next meal after three hours.let baby be hungry and demand food.necessity is mother of invention.I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY BODY DYING OF HUNGER WHEN FOOD IS AVAILABLE.

As adults, when the bladder gets full, it sends a signal to the brain to wake up or you start dreaming about water or going to bathroom, and then you wake up, but for kids the signal isn't quite strong enough to get them awake which is why it is normal for children to wet the bed till age 6 or below. Therefore bed-wetting is a developmental issue and therefore the treatment is time, so for kids age 6 or under, they will most likely grow out of it. It becomes an issue when the child starts feeling bad about himself, when he starts to pull away from his friend because he is afraid that his friends will make fun of him. It makes matters worse when parents yell and scream at their children for bed wetting. Kids need reassurance and encouragement from parents. Children who continue to wet the bed beyond the age of 6 may not be producing enough ADH hormone at appropriate times or may not yet be attuned to their bodies' signals, or both. Behavioral changes too play a role in achieving dryness, he says. Try decreasing the amount that kids drink before bed. Parents should seek formal treatment between ages 6 and 7. There are bed wetting alarms available which are very effective on their own. But they take around 12 weeks to show the difference. If the problem is severe a pediatrician should be consulted for medication advice such as desmopressin which acts on kidneys to reduce the flow of urine. Another medication is imipramine which allows you to have better control of the bladder, affects the bladder musculature and may change sleep patterns, so kids wake up if they have to urinate. While this is cheaper than desmopressin it has more side effects on long term used. The bottom line is you should resort to medicines as last option first try reward therapy and beahvioral changes. More than 80% children at this age will grow out of it.

Calculate your projected height. Working in inches or centimeters, you can try to predict your height based on the height of your parents. o Add up your mom and dad's heights (in inches or cm). o Add 5 inches (13 cm) if you're a boy; subtract 5 inches (13 cm) if you're a girl. o Divide by 2. o The answer is your predicted height, give or take 4 inches (10 cm). Note that this isn't an absolute calculation, but it should be pretty close. Eat right. Ensuring that you're getting all the vitamins and minerals your body requires will help you grow to your full height. Take a supplement targeted at your age group with breakfast each morning, and try to incorporate certain foods into your diet. Here are some specific suggestions: ? Make sure to take in an abundance of carbohydrates and calories for that is where the body gains its energy to grow. ? Get plenty of calcium (found in dairy products and green vegetables). Calcium promotes bone growth, and can help prevent osteoporosis. ? Taking 500 mg of niacin has shown to significantly increase growth hormone levels only when taken on an empty stomach. ? Get sufficient vitamin D (which can be obtained through eating fish, alfalfa, or mushrooms, or spending enough time in the sun). Vitamin D promotes bone and muscle growth in children[, and a deficiency has been shown to stunt growth and cause weight gain in teenage girls. If you don't like fish, consider a purified fish oil supplement (purifying removes mercury). ? Take in lots of protein (from meat, eggs, tofu or legumes). Proteins provide an essential building block your body needs in order to grow. At least one (preferably two) of your meals each day should include a high quality protein. ? Up your zinc intake (oysters, chocolate, peanuts, eggs, peas, asparagus and supplements). A zinc deficiency can cause stunted growth in children . The best way to make sure you meet your body's daily need is by taking a vitamin or supplement that includes zinc. ? Eat on a regular schedule. You should be eating 3 meals a day, with small snacks between breakfast and lunch, and lunch and dinner. Try to schedule these events at roughly the same time each day. Exercise your body. Sadly, if your growth plates have closed as due to your age, exercising will not affect your growth rate.[11] But if you enjoy swimming, biking, running, or yoga, among other sports, and you haven't stopped growing, exercise combined with the right diet and proper sleep should help you grow. ? Doing stretches has some beneficial effects. There are tons of "grow taller" exercises on the Internet, which claim to help you grow. As mentioned above, after your growth plates have closed, you will not grow taller. Therefore, there's no scientific evidence to suggest you can grow taller through stretching. Hello, Worms could be one of the reasons which is very common in the young children. Please consult his respective paediatrician for the deworming agent to be given. Deworming is very important with kids at least once a year. Secondly, avoid giving him excess of sugar and ready to eat processed foods. Fresh, homecooked, nutritional densed food should be given. Since the level of physical activity is more you need to monitor is food habits closely.

After vaccination, fever and mild illness lasts only for few hours. Not taking feed is due to so many reasons like: heat waves, fever, chest infection, urine infection and all. Keep years baby cool if not feeding consistently better contact child specialist.

First of all you should follow some basic thing 1.avoid=hot and cold at time 2.less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3.do not drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml 4.avoid late night sleep 5.panchamrut parpati 1 tab before lunch and dinner 6.audumbaravleha 2 tsp before lunch and dinner.

Everyone needs 7 to 8 hours of sleep daily, but some can do with lesser. As long as your child is comfortable and not irritable when he is awake it is fine.
