Don't focus on removing negative thoughts, it will come back even stronger! Focus on engaging in positive activities, productive activities, challenging and satisfying activities and leave the negative thoughts alone, they will go away! no need to bother about them. Very useful technique! try it out.. Go out and take a brisk walk everyday, mingle with friends, give more time to hobbies, restart old given up hobbies, eat and sleep regularly, relive the good old days, enjoy life! you become what you think you are!

I am 28 year old male. I & my partner feel unsatisfied during intercourse due to early ejaculation. My height 172 cm and weight 70kg. I have backache problem also. I used to do exercise at home to reduce pain. But if I stop exercise for more than 4 days then backache starts again.

Daily exercise is desirable. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. Ayurveda believes it as a vitiated vata disease. Aama generated from the stomach blocks the way of vata. Hence vata is accumulated and blocked in specific areas of body and its most favorite sites are the joints of body. The blocked vata creates sharp pain with swelling and inability to move speedily. There are procedures like kizhi, abhyangam, vasti, pizhichhil and may others that help to balance vitiated vata dosha and eradicate the disease permanently. Avoid sour and spicy food like curd, tamarind. Regularize your eating habits. Do not drink water with meals.
Initial treatment requires around 45 - 60 days of panchakarma therapy along with internal medicines and diet, life style modification. After this phase only internal medicines are continued.

Hello, You are advised to follow some natural treatments for hair fall: ALOE VERA: To reduce pitta and preserve the health of your hair, drink Aloe Vera juice (⅓ cup preferably with a pinch of cumin) 3 times a day for about 3 months. You can also scrape out the gel from an aloe plant with a spoon, and apply to your hair and scalp (and face too). ONION PASTE: Onion paste helps you cleanse your scalp and increases hair growth. You just need to add onions in the mixer and prepare a paste. Apply the paste on your scalp. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with water. GUAVA LEAVES: Add guava leaves to hot water and boil it for a few minutes till the time the water turns black. Using cotton, apply the solution on your scalp. Repeat this process two to three times in a week. AMLA JUICE: Amla does wonders to the hair and is one of the best cures for baldness. Take equal portions of fresh Amla juice and Lemon juice and apply the mixture on your scalp. Leave it on for 30 minutes and rinse off. COCONUT and ALMOND MILK: Take 5-10 almonds and blend them with appropriate amount of tender coconut malai. Apply this nourishing hair pack to provide Vitamin E and many other nutrients to your hair. HONEY and EGG YOLK: Mix honey and egg yolk together and massage on your scalp for 30 minutes. Egg yolk will help stimulate hair growth. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR: Mix one part of apple cider vinegar in one part of water. Apply the mixture on your scalp, massage gently and leave on for 5 minutes before washing off with a mild cleanser. OIL MASSAGE: Massaging the scalp with brahmi oil or bhringaraj oil at bedtime can help to prevent hair loss. In addition to the qualities of the oil, the massage itself will improve circulation at the root of the hair, thus bringing more nutrients to support hair growth. FOOD FOR YOUR HAIR: Healthy hair depends upon a nourishing diet. Dairy products such as cheese, milk, and yogurt are beneficial for the hair (assuming you digest them well), as are fruits, green vegetables and white radish. Drinking tender coconut water is also helpful. However, if the problem persists, consult your dermatologist immediately as it may be due to some other underlying issue.

Gaining weight is as difficult as losing it, if you are naturally thin. Skinny people complain that they can't put on any weight.If you want to build up weight, don't just eat high-calorie junk foods and rely on unnecessary supplements. Choose foods that are energy-dense and nutrient-dense whenever possible. Following are some tips to follow to increase your weight. You will take some time to gain the weight you need, but be patient. 1. If you have a rapid metabolism, then you must increase your daily intake of healthy foods (increase your intake of carbohydrates) to compensate for the rate at which you burn energy. Eat six smaller meals a day You should also eat more energy dense foods like healthy oils, dry fruits, seeds, nuts, pulses, etc. along with some starchy foods like potatoes, cereals, bread, pasta, rice, etc. 2. Consume more calories than you burn. Choose healthy calorie-dense food to add calories. Drink healthy beverages to add calories. Mangoes are rich in calories and carbohydrates, include them in your diet. 3. Eat healthy food frequently, 5-6 times a day - 3 larger meals and 3 smaller meals alternately. Separate them by at least 3 hours so you can digest each meal fully. Don't go without food for 5-6 hours after having a major meal. For example, if you wish to consume 3000 calories a day, you may eat 3 larger meals of about 650 calories and 3 smaller meals of about 450 calories. 4. Have a balanced diet. 5. Exercise regularly for putting on weight. Some thin people think that exercise is not good for them. This is not true, it keeps the metabolism high. Remember that eating alone is not sufficient. You don't want to gain fat but lean mass, so exercise is important. Resistance training exercises will help to increase your muscle mass, which in turn will increase metabolism. Learn to distinguish between weight gaining exercises and weight loss exercises. Note that if you do not get enough amino acids during exercise, the existing muscle may break down. Amino acids come from protein foods so you should eat such foods after exercise. Keep in mind that excessive exercise without putting back the energy you have used will not help you to put on weight.

Dear lybrate user, cholesterol is naturally produced inside the body of every living animal. Human beings are no exception to that. But when we take mutton, chicken, yellow part of a boiled egg, ghee, butter etc we intake cholesterol from external source. This extra cholesterol from external sources increase the total cholesterol content of human body. You should always keep your cholesterol level within normal limits as high cholesterol serves as a precursor to various cardiac diseases. Avoid the aforesaid food. Every person suffering from migraine will agree that - although medications can control the head-piercing pain that each attack brings with it, preventing the onset of the pain altogether is the best way to deal with it. Follow these three simple strategies and based on the reaction of your body to these, mould your lifestyle to effectively prevent the occurrence of migraine to a good extent.

1. Get adequate amount of exercise
A large majority of people who suffer from migraine steer clear of any highly intensive or strenuous exercise as it is known to be the prime trigger for a severe attack. Having said that, avoiding physical activity altogether can worsen your migraines and thus you should focus on indulging in some light exercises. Activities such as jogging, walking and yoga can reduce the duration of your migraines and also bring down its severity and frequency. Moreover, regular exercise brings down stress levels which are also a major factor for triggering migraine attacks.

2. Take note of your meal schedule and type of food that precipitates headache
For most patients migraine is triggerred by irregular meal schedule and some foods acts as triggers for migraine like cheese, chocolate, chinese foods. It is very imprtant to maintain a regular meal schedule, avoid skipping meals and take note of the items that precipitate your headache. Items that can precipitate headache is different for every individual and maitaining a headache diary can help you to identify these triggers. Also, note down the occurrence of your migraines, their duration and severity. Having adequate data makes it extremely simple to recognize a recurring pattern and leads you to the main cause behind your migraine attacks.

3. Maintain a stable sleep schedule
Sleep plays a great role in triggering migraine attacks and irregular sleep patterns, not getting adequate sleep, or sleeping more than required – all these habits can lead to a severe attack. Dear get urine tested. If it shows more than 5 pus cells then you have infection. Then one has to take antibiotics for 15 days and the recheck urine to see pus cells have gone. If recurrent or persistent then try to find out the cause and that cause has to be treated. Drink plenty of fluids.

For fair skin : • Applying a mixture of cucumber and papaya with one teaspoon of each and with three teaspoon of oatmeal apply it for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse off with water . • Apply one teaspoon of honey for 30 minutes and wash it off . • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi ( turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water . • Apply one teaspoon orange juice or take a piece of orange open it then apply that area for 5 minutes then rinse off it. • Apply one teaspoon of fuller ' s earth ( multani mitti ) add one spoon of rose water mix it apply it for 10 minutes. • Eat fruits daily and drink a glass of milk daily . • Mash half bnana mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of sandalwood powder mix it well and make smooth paste apply it for 10 minutes then rinse off with water. • Save yourself from sunlight by covering your face with cloth or by using sunscreen lotion .

To quit drinking he needs to take medicine. However it is very evident that he won't agree to take the medicine if he comes to know about it. You have to administer the medicine for alcohol de-addiction without letting him know. So the medicine should be colourless, odourless, tasteless. For this purpose Homeopathy has an excellent remedy. The remedy not only fulfills the criteria of being colourless, odourless & tasteless but at the same time it is fully soluble in water. You just have to add 20 drops of the medicine to every litre of water. Just keep a separate bottle for the patient. Add 20 drops of the medicine to each litre of water. For example if the bottle contains 2 liters of water then add 40 drops of the medicine. Now whenever the patient asks for water give him that particular medicine mixed water. He will easily drink 2 litres of water in 24 hours. Thus you will be able to administer the medicine for de-addiction of alcohol without even letting him know. You can even give him this medicine mixed water to prepare his peg if he drinks alcohol at home. A quick response is noted in patients who have taken 60 drops of the medicine daily. Now note down the name of the medicine. The medicine is Homeopathic Mother Tincture ACID SULPH Q. You can find it at any Homeopathic Medicine retail shop. Just buy a 100 ml pack for one month. You will able to notice a difference within 10 days of starting of the medicine if you can administer the medicine as 60 drops daily. This medicine will reduce his craving for alcohol without producing any type of side-effects.

A 58 years female with h/o chronic abdominal pain past Parndial, suspect c/o mesenteric ischemia, CECT abdomen pelvis with angiography shows: 1) diffuse atherosclerosis changes in abdominal aorta. 2), well defined osteolytic tension with polka dot appearance in multiple lumber vertebral bodies (L2, L3 and L4) s/o hemangioma. Please suggest the treatment. BP 140/90 sugar-NIL Conditions: stomach pain after having food. And before having good feels too much nervous.

dear ,mesentric ischemia is an emergency and i hope that u have got her admitted already.the atherosclerotic changes in aorta are problematic and she needs to be put on anticoagulants first..and thereafter evaluated for the cause of atherosclerosis in her like hyperlipidemia or certain hypercoagulable states ..like protein c/s deficiency,antithrombin 3 deficiency,factor V leiden,hyperhomocysteinemia etc .. get in touch with nearest gastrologist/physician for these investigations nothing to worry about the hemangioma part

Hello- Day 5-12 and 21 and 28 will be safe period to do sex. However please take notice that even calendar method/safe period sex also results in pregnancy.
