When you are not able to pass urine, sit down in ukru position, relax your perineum like while passing stools, try to pass urine without exerting pressure. You can take analgesic with tizanidine twice daily. Avoid constipation. Go for walk both times daily.

Hi, if those were bald patches of alopecia areata then the regrown hair are normally white in colour, but later the colour as well as thickness would improve. Don't worry.

first and foremost is to control hypothyroidism. If that is not done then, weight reduction is not possible. If that achieved, then you can work on weight reduction. There is no easy way for reducing the weight. You have to following things: 1) take a restricted diet, that gives exact calories based on your ideal body weight (height in cms - 100 = kgs) and your daily exercise quantity. 2) spend at least 1 hour every day on exercise, brisk walk covering 5 to 6 kms in 1 hour, should be undertaken, 3) avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods and pastries, 4) consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits, 5) avoid high fat cheese, butter, margarine and other saturated fats 6) if possible join a gym where you can do workouts under instruction. But most important is following a strict dietary regimen.

Try the tips below:: 1.Take 11 guava leaves, 11 black pepper, 1 cup milk and one cup water. Put all of them in pot and boil it well, when it reduced to one cup, drink in empty stomach. Take this daily for at least six months or a year. 2.Boil cumin seeds in water and inhale the steam. It helps dilate the bronchial passage. 3.Take 5 gm of ginger, black pepper, cardamom, clove, cinnamon, turmeric and 30 gm of sugar. Grind the mix to a powder. Take half to one teaspoonful and mix it nicely with honey. Take it twice a day 4.Pulses like old rice (rice which is stored for at least one year is called old), wheat, barley, kulattha, mung beans, arhar beans, etc . should be consumed. 5.Honey, warm drinks like herbal teas, spice teas are also okay. 6.Sprouts, nuts and seeds can be taken in moderate amount. 7.The heavy foods and those which make ama should be avoided. This mainly includes milk products like cheese, curd, butter milk, creams, and banana, etc. 8.Oily, greasy and fried foods which are difficult to digest should be avoided. 9.White flour and white sugar products should be avoided. 10.In addition, try to avoid the cold foods, cold drinks and other refrigerated things. 11.Avoid excessive or physically demanding exercise. Yoga and Pranayama can be helpful.

I am 54 years old having problem of slow urine discharge frequently since last one year. I consulted one of the urologist and he described the reason as increase in prostate gland. He has prescribed me HARNAL OCAS 400mcg (tamsulosin hydrochloride) tablet which I am taking every night. I am afraid if I stop this medicine I will not be able to discharge urine. My father had also this problem and he under gone operation a few years back. I am diabetic also from last 10 years and now take GALVUS MET tablet 50mg /1000mg daily one tablet morning and night before food and Diamicron 60mg half tablet at lunch time. My weight is 65 kg and height is 5 feet and 4 inches. I would like to have your view and permanent treatment for both these problem without undergoing surgery for prostate. Please advice me treatment and its duration.

Hello. I would recommend you to keep taking allopathic medicine for diabetes as it can only be controlled with the help of with any of the pathies! For your BHP (benign hypertrophy of prostate), if the condition is in initial stage then you can think of having homoeopathic medication - Sabal Serrulata Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice daily for 4 weeks, after that revert me back. But if the prostate is enlarged and is in later stage, then now and later there is no other option than a Surgery!

Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water or hydrogen peroxide to keep the area clean. Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth. - stay away from smoking and other tobacco products, which can aggravate bleeding gums. - eat a balanced diet and limit snacking between meals. Carbohydrates and sugars feed dental plaque. - try an oral irrigation device, commonly known as a" water pick, to clear debris from around the gum line. - you may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser.

Hello everyone. Have you been suffering from some kind of stomach upset? do you belch/ regurgitate food long after you have eaten it? do you get frequent headaches and chest pains?

There might be a very simple cure to all these symptoms. Now ask yourself, have you been drinking that extra cup of tea? an extra cup of coffee? Well, if you have been drinking enough amounts of tea and coffee, try and restrict it, avoid it for a day or two. You will notice a significant difference immediately. Lets not say that tea or coffee is the only cause of these symptoms. But rest assured such symptoms reduce if tea or coffee is avoided. A very common condition (GERD- Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease) is found widely in our population. It is not a disease per say, however, those suffering from such a condition present with the above said features, and unknowingly consume loads and loads of caffeine in their daily routine. If you are one of those people suffering from frequent gas trouble, (the term often used), do try avoiding tea and coffee for a few days. Anything in excess is bad. So, if possible, keep the number of cups, be it tea or coffee, to a minimum. Hope this helps. Take care.

Blood in stool is a serious symptom. It may be due to piles, anal fissure or lower gi bleeding. Kindly consult a surgeon who may advise you for proctoscopy/colonoscopy to find out the reason behind it. Avoid eating chilly and spicy food. Take more roughage.

Hello you may follow some regular routines of getting all dietary measures and daily behaviours as well as exercise and yoga every day. Soups of carrots and beetroots with moong daal soups fried with cumin seeds and ghee and garlic. Light diets and moong daal soups and simple vegetarian food and fresh fruits juices as well as fruits. Warm milk boiled with ginger and haldi including ghee and nuts every day before going to bed. Simple and herbal sampoo to be used 2-3 times in a week. You may use 1-lumina sampoo to wash hairs. Hairs should be smallest in size. 2-keshraksha gel. Apply over your scalp and massage gently that goes to the roots of the hairs. The above prescribed medicines will balance your hair falls.
