I am suffering from an accident whch cause bleeding in my mouth I want a medicine by which it can be good.
- use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water or hydrogen peroxide to keep the area clean. Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth. - stay away from smoking and other tobacco products, which can aggravate bleeding gums. - eat a balanced diet and limit snacking between meals. Carbohydrates and sugars feed dental plaque. - try an oral irrigation device, commonly known as a" water pick" to clear debris from around the gum line. - you may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person.

What medicine require for reducing large adenoid. Without operation of large adenoid any risk. Please suggest how it will be curable.

BDS, Non-Resident J.R. in Dept. of Orthodontics, Certified oral implantologist, Advanced Aesthetics, Digital Smile Designer
Dentist, Jammu
Surgical removal of the adenoids is a procedure called adenoidectomy. Carried out through the mouth under a general anaesthetic, adenoidectomy involves the adenoids being curetted, cauterised, lasered, or otherwise ablated. Adenoidectomy is most often performed because of nasal obstruction, but is also performed to reduce middle ear infections and fluid (otitis media). The procedure is often carried out at the same time as a tonsillectomy, since the adenoids can be clearly seen and assessed by the surgeon at that time. Adenoidectomy is also performed on patients who have chronic ear infections caused by the adenoids blocking the eustachian tube.

Your pain should gradually be reducing on 6 th day post extraction. If not, then please see your Dr. Again. He will check for infection and dry socket. Continue with warm saline gargles. Ice application will not help. Wish you speedy recovery.

Hello Ma'am This looks like a wisdom tooth problem. You can do warm saline rinses (Add a pinch of salt in water & rinse at least 5-6 times a day). Also schedule an appointment with your dentist for a permanent solution.

Wisdom tooth is one of the rudimentary organs. This means that exists in our our body but has no function. It is not intelligence to keep the decayed wisdom tooth in your mouth bcoz it will decay d adjacent required tooth. So its very much advisable to go for extraction bcoz it has NO SIDE EFFECTS OR AFTER EFFECTS.

Hello lybrate-user, your teeth are fine but your gums are infected. The solution for infection is cleaning of teeth as well as gums. Firstly you have to remove all deposits present on teeth and are irritating to gums. After that at home also you can take care of them by- brushing your teeth properly twice daily and with proper technique. Use soft bristle toothbrush. Any toothpaste you can use but take a little quantity of it.
