How to Manage and Treat Fatigue?

Fatigue is a common complaint amongst middle aged people. It is mostly seen in people who have refrained from physical activity or working out for long. This being said, there are a host of other diseases where fatigue acts as the most prominent symptom. Some major diseases where fatigue is involved are anemia, heart diseases, thyroid and diabetes. If you are feeling exhausted or worn out even after a good night’s sleep, it is time to consult your doctor. Here are a few tips that can help you in managing fatigue in the early stage:

  1. Review your existing medication: Get your doctor to check your medication to ensure that the fatigue is not a result of your existing medicine. Doctors often change the medication for any side effects such as this. It is also advised not to take additional medicine to counter fatigue.
  2. Start moving: Studies show that physical activity greatly boosts the level of energy in an individual. Daily exercise not only reduces fatigue but makes the heart and lung function more efficiently. It increases vigor and the overall quality of life. According to a study conducted by the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, it was seen that people who are more active have more self-confidence.
  3. Drink water: Dehydration often causes day time fatigue. It not only impairs the physical performance of an individual but also contribute to lack of alertness and motivation. A good indicator of the body’s hydration is the color of the urine. Ideally it should be yellow, pale or straw colored. Any coloration other than this signifies that the body needs more water.
  4. Hit the bed early: Lack of sleep is one of the biggest factors of fatigue. A study conducted by the Stanford University in 2004 showed that people with good sleeping habits suffers from less fatigue. An afternoon nap followed by a coffee further reduces fatigue and energizes a person. 8 hours of sleep is considered to be healthy and keeps fatigue at bay.
  5. Frequent eating: It is observed that people who eat small meals several times a day are less prone to this condition than others who eat twice or thrice a day but eat bigger meals. Frequent eating maintains a steady blood sugar level and helps a person concentrate harder. This being said, it has to be ensured that food is consumed in smaller quantities to refrain from putting on weight.
  6. Try Yoga: While any kind of exercise is helpful in countering fatigue, yoga is particularly helpful in boosting energy. A British study conducted among young adults showed that those who attended 6 weeks of yoga classes are found to be more energetic and mindful. Yoga should be practiced under strict supervision of an instructor to avoid any possible complications of the body.

Hello- yes, you can easily improve your sperm counts by the use of ayurvedic medicines. 1) increase dairy products in your meals. 2) take 1 tsp ashwagandha powder with milk. Ashwagandha is proven to increase sperm count in ayurveda.

Sir, You are having too much distractions. Stop Mobile game, pornagraphic viewing, drug usage, smoking, alcoholic drinks, masturbation, eating Junk food. DO Yoga, meditation, breathing exercises. Go for walks. Listen to music Sleep 6 to 8 hours a day. Play out door games. Chat with friends and relatives, Read good books, Relax for 5 to 10 minutes during studies, every hour. Cause for heavyness in head or vertigo or dizziness after eating 1. Gastritis occurs when the lining of your digestive tract becomes inflamed due to excess stomach acid. There are several reasons this can occur including overeating, eating too much greasy foods, drinking too much caffeinated beverages and/or alcoholic drinks. Dizziness after eating is a common symptom of gastritis. 2. Emotional disorders bring with it a multitude of health issues. Stress can cause all kinds of havoc with your body. Depression hinders your immunity causing you to be more prone to health issues. A common consequence of all this emotional pressure is lightheadedness after a meal or snack. 3. Your thyroid affects every part of your body. It produces the thyroid hormone, which helps regulate how your body functions. Hyperthyroidism occurs when too much hormone is produced. Hypothyroidism happens when the thyroid is underactive and does not produce enough hormones. In either case, common symptoms include fatigue, lightheadedness with or without eating and exhaustion. 4. Ommon drugs causing lightheadedness include antidepressants, antihypertensive medications, high blood pressure medications, sedatives and ace inhibitors. Also, habit forming drugs can cause dizziness after eating as a symptom of withdrawal. 5. Postprandial hypotension is the name of a condition that causes the pooling of blood in your abdominal organs after a meal and during digestion. When your body is processing and breaking down your food, it draws a lot blood to the intestinal organs. In some people this causes distress on their system and they can experience dizziness after eating. Take for following precautions first for your problems. 1. Do not skip meals when you skip a meal, your blood pressure drops. Often, your body will work itself into frenzy and when you finally eat you will have a sudden spike in sugar. This can result in a headache, falling, dizziness and fainting. Eating junk or fatty foods when hungry can also bring on these symptoms. 2. Do not overeat when you eat too much, you feel lazy and tired and often sit for an extended period afterwards. This can cause you to feel bloated and dizzy. The best thing for your body is to eat several smaller meals throughout the day. This will help prevent all types of digestive conditions. 3. Incorporate whole grains into your diet eating starchy foods like rice and potatoes can cause postprandial hypotension because they quickly pass to your stomach. Foods made up of whole grains and protein are digested more slowly, thus keeping your body at normal blood pressure levels. 4. Don't add sugary drinks to your diet just like eating junk food, when you drink sodas or other sugary beverages you run the risk of causing your blood sugar to spike and then quickly drop. When this happens, you will experience dizziness and may even possibly faint. 5. Eat vegetables and fruits when you include lots of them in your diet, you allow powerful antioxidants into your system. Along with beneficial minerals and vitamins, they help your body fight free radicals in your system and keep it working properly. 6. Avoid vigorous activities don't push yourself too hard after a meal or you may experience dizziness after eating. When you do not allow your blood pressure to return back to normal after a meal, you can get nauseated and lightheaded. It is important to wait about an hour before doing strenuous exercises. 7. Drink enough water if you keep yourself properly hydrated, you can prevent lightheadedness and dizziness brought on by dehydration. It is important to get enough liquids into your system, stay hydrated and drink plenty of water throughout the day. Believe it or not, sometimes if you drink too much water at once you can also get dizzy. 8. Add herbal tea to your diet herbs like ginger and mint have soothing properties that can calm your stomach after a meal. They can help your digestive system work better, thus thwarting off dizziness. If still problem remain same then get an ultrasound of whole abdomen and thyroid profile test done first. Then, share reports for further management. S.

The dose of ramipril can be optimised but only in consultation with your nephrologist. Also if BP is also high then salt restriction is helpful. But only in consultation with your nephrologist.
