Patient need to be evaluated why her kidney has failed .Is it because of disease or any other reason. Yes if there is kidney failure and is due to the blockage of tube carrying the urine then she might need the placement of tube. For bleeding in stools also might be because of piles or might be a side effect of radiation she need to be evaluated for both and to be treated accordingly.

Get your blood sugars checked. Sometimes the symptoms you said are signs of underlying diabetes. So it is better to rule it out. For your symptoms visit your gynecologist and he/ she will treat you.

It would have been better if you had to mention your age. Complex ovarian cyst might be because of non-cancerous condition like endometriosis etc. But since it is complex you need to rule out cancer. Visit your doctor and they will further investigate you depending on your history your family history etc. They will advice you a do tumor maker called CA 125, and a CT scan or a MRI.

Hello I want to ask a question about my sis in law she is 41 yesterday she had a very heavy bleeding. They went to doctor and she examined her n ask for USG Pelvis Test. The result says uterus is retroverted in size, measures 8.5x5.7x4. 5 cm and shows partial dehiscence of lower part of body into vagina suggestive of prolapse uterus. Endometrial echo-complex is thickened, thickness measures 16. 8 mm and shows some cystic changes. Doctor had a doubt that she might have a uterus cancer. Please suggest n tell what to do we have already given a sample for biopsy also. Please tell me is this problem curable she will be alright.

Thickened endometrium and heavy bleeding can be caused due to some non cancerous condition as well as endometrial (uterine) cancer. But yes definitely we need to rule out cancer before we treat her. You need to wait for the biopsy report of the samples taken by your doctor. If malignancy is detected it would be preferable to do the treatment by gyn oncologist. Uterine cancer is treated surgically and the further treatment (radiotherapy /chemotherapy) is decided based on the findings of surgery. Uterine cancer if treated properly and especially if it is a early stage cancer the chances of getting cured are high. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries regarding the same.

My sister is suffering from pcod since 11 years. She is 36 now having two children. She gets periods very rarely only through medication. She is a hyper thyroid patient since first delivery. But now it’s completely normal. Blood pressure and sugar are also under control. But not getting periods after second delivery. It’s been 4 years. Does it lead to any complications or it’s ok? What to do to get the periods back?

PCOD leads to hormonal imbalances in the body. It leads to higher levels of androgenic hormones and higher level of estrogen hormone in the body. Long time exposure to high level of estrogen is a risk factor for breast and uterine cancer. So one should be alert to pick up any signs or symptoms of this cancer and report to doctors early. It would be advisible to do self breast examination monthly and a clinical examination by doctor in a year and also a sonography of uterus to look for the uterine lining. Not getting period from age of 32 is too early for periods to stop. This needs to be evaluated. If this is only because of PCOD it can be treated. Sometimes a simple measures like weight reduction helps in regularising the cycles. Further management of this condition will be done after assessing the patient.

Mujhe fibroid ki problem hai last 1 year se ab mujhe period ke din jyada bleeding nahi hoti thi par ab is mahine me bahut jyada bleeding hui kya fibroid ki vajah se kuch problem ho sakta hai iske liye main konsi medicine lu.

Increased bleeding can be caused by fibroid uterus. But it can also be caused by thyroid abnormality. Get your thyroid functions done. For fibroid uterus you need to show your gynecologist. Depending on size and site of fibroids they will tell you if medical management will work or it will require surgical management.
