I am experiencing hair fall and infact 8 am going bald. What should I do. I have tried various shampoos and everything even the hairtonic but its not helping me in any ways? Please help me with this.

MD- Ayurvedic Pathology
Ayurveda, Amritsar
Hair fall can occur due to many reasons like stress, chemical damage, nutritional deficiency, enviornmental factors etc. We need to access the exact reason to start treatment. Home remedy. Take 100ml coconut oil boil 2-4 pcs of amla fruit n 8-10 curry leaves in that oil till fruit n leaves turn black. Filter and strain. Massage it on scalp with finger tips gently. Wash hair next morning with curd mixed with besan. In ready to use you can start using rishi grow hair oil at bed time & wash with robin plus herbal shampoo. Use clean oil if dandruff is the reason as this oil treats it in just two applications along with reducing itching. Internal ayurvedic medicines if required will be provided after studying your bodily constitution as per ayurveda. Do it for two months and your hair fall will reduce to normal. As it's a very slow process so you can't see results in a week. Eat more of green leafy vegies and fresh seasonal fruits. Take amla powder or amla murabba/ carrot murabba twice daily. Use neem wood comb for managing hair and this should be changed regularly. Reduce your stress by yoga and meditation. Add some coconut daily in your diet. Keep water in copper vessel overnight and drink in the morning empty stomach. Avoid chinese foods and food stuffs packed in plastics. Avoid white flour (maida), excessive salt and spices. Let me know after it and I will advise accordingly.

5 Natural tips to prevent hair loss

BHMS
Homeopath, Solan
5 Natural tips to prevent hair loss
It's better to use natural products to stop hairfall than to go in for expensive parlour treatments, that may not help the problem. 1. Hot oil treatments: take any natural oil - olive, coconut, canola - and heat it up so that it is warm, but not too hot. Massage it gently into your scalp. Put on a shower cap and leave it on for an hour, then shampoo your hair.

2. Natural juices: you can rub your scalp with either garlic juice, onion juice or ginger juice. Leave it on overnight and wash it thoroughly in the morning.

3. Get a head massage: massaging your scalp for a few minutes daily will help stimulate circulation. Good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Circulation may be improved through massage by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base.

4. Antioxidants: apply warm green tea (two bags brewed in one cup of water) on your scalp and leave this mixture on for an hour and then rinse. Green tea contains antioxidants which prevent hair loss and boost hair growth.

5. Practice meditation: believe it or not, most of the times, the root cause for hair loss is stress and tension. Meditation can help in reducing that and restore hormonal balance.

MBBS, MS - General Surgery, M.Ch - Plastic Surgery

Dear, Shampoos and oils do not make much change because, they hardly penetrate layers of skin, where roots (live part of hair) are present. DIET 1.Reduce intake of junk foods, oily foods, gravy in curries (veg & nov veg), consume more proteins, dry fruits, fresh fruits, & vegetables. 2.“PROTIEN RICH DIET” Veg: Dhal, soya beans, mushrooms, sprouts etc…. Non Veg: Egg whites, Fish, Chicken (non fried items) Dry fruits – (Almonds 5-6 (badam), Dates (3-4), Walnuts (1-2), Raisins (kishmish)) majority of dry fruits are good for health & hair especially. Fresh Fruits - Green grapes with seeds (please crush seeds along with grapes while consuming) and Skin of Green Apple. Vegetables - Green Leafy Vegetables.

I am 31 years old male. I have dry skin problem from past many years. Using ointments like moisturising cream but all are transient solutions. Sometimes red patches are noticeable also on back, chest and stomach in hot environment. Please suggest the treatment.

MD
Yoga & Naturopathy Specialist, Delhi
Nothing can supply ant moisture from outside. It has to come from within. Circulating blood is the only carrier to bring moisture to the skin. Therefore it is necessary to open up the capillaries near the skin. T achieve there are two ways. First and very effective is a steam bath. To know the procedure pl ask a private question. I will send you the procedure which you can do at home. The second is less effective but works a bit slowly. Buy a plastic brush which has about 1" long flexible bristles. Rub your entire skin with it when it is wet during your daily bath. Do it for a week every day and then on alternate days. After a couple of months you can stop it. You can do it again for a few days if you need it, or once every week. This will give you a glowing skin which will be owners pride and neighbors envy. And you will not need any cream, du, lotion etc.

Its about hair loss. Now I am of 23 years. From last 7 years I have the problem of hair loss, is there any solution for stop this, and is it possible to grow new hairs?

Certified Diabetes Educator, Registered Dietitian (RD), PGDD, Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (B.U.M.S), General Physician
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Mumbai
Your hair needs a high protein well-rounded diet. A strand of hair is composed of mostly protein, which means your hair needs protein to grow. Hair and nails are both protein fibers. Hence a therapeutic diet prescribed by a registered dietitian can help a lot in hair growth. Besides diet excessive stress and some medication are conclusively known to retard hair growth and promote hair loss. - cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. Also harsh treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. - excessive exposure to the sun, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Use a live in conditioner during the rains to protect it from the humidity and wash and oil it regularly to maintain a healthy scalp. I may also prescribe medications like biotin or minox. That are proven to help in hairgrowth and repair I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I will also suggest home remedies. Do reply back for private consultation for rx.

You are suffering from patterned hair loss which is called as male pattern Baldness. It is a progressive Irreversible Disorder which can only be halted to its present stage. To regrow hair back in bald areas hair transplantation is the only best option in which you can go for FUE method which is the latest and the best. However to save existing hair prevetive treatment is must otherwise it will also be lost. Start treatment immediately to save your hair.
