Your posture counts more for good health. Do neck exercise after getting up up in the morning by moving up and down, moving sideways left and right, rotate left to right and right to left circularly. Massage with your thumbs from the mid of your shoulder blade towards the neck upwards upto the level of lower part of the ears. By using water or oil. Move only upwards and not dowan wards. You will be alright within 4 days.

Most leg pain results from wear and tear, overuse, or injuries in joints or bones or in muscles, ligaments, tendons or other soft tissues. Leg pain can also be caused by blood clots, varicose veins or poor circulation. To relieve mild pain: stay off your leg as much as possible apply an ice pack or bag of frozen peas to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day elevate your leg whenever you sit or lie down please go to a physiotherapist if: you have pain during or after walking you have swelling in both legs your pain gets worse your symptoms don't improve after a few days of home treatment you have painful varicose veins leg pain happens when your muscles are tired or dehydrated. Drink more water if you're prone to leg cramps. Also low blood levels of either calcium or magnesium directly cause cramps. Pleas check you calcium and magnesium levels.

Do not stop the weight training. It is natural to have soreness in the muscles when you start weight training and whenever you keep increasing poundages. Drink a lot of water it will reduce the soreness. Exercise should always be a combination of cardio and weight training then you will get your desired results.

1) a heating pad may be applied to warm up the muscles (for not more than 10 minutes) prior to doing exercising and stretching, and an ice pack may be used afterwards to sooth the muscles and soft tissues. 2) back strengthening and low impact aerobics are the best exercises for back pain. 3) hamstring stretching will give a lot of relief in back. 4) swimming is the best strengthening exercise.

Football injuries are usually serious injuries. Get a mri of the knee. You would probably need arthroscopic knee surgery. It is a very safe procedure in our hands with uniformly good results. I have hurt my knee as my knee got twisted while turning around. I was unable to walk for 3-4 days and slowly slowly started walking with the help of physiotherapy. Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

I would like to examine the patient in detail & investigate. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid, vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried. Do hot fomentation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1 tab od x10. Make sure that the patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that patient is going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful. Use no pillow under the head.

1.Take crocin 500mg one tablet sos after food upto a maximum of 3 tablets daily 2.Apply volini gel twice daily 3.Give warm compress locally 4. Take rest If you have recurrent attack of neck pain a)Take X ray cervical spine to exclude spondylitis and consult orthopedic specialist b)Sometimes It could be due to bad sitting posture while reading or working on computer. Adopt proper sitting posture, put neck rest, use soft pillow while sleeping c) Do physio therapy and neck exercise d)Consult me for further advice

Dear madam this is planter fascitis more troublesome in summer season treatment modalities are 1. Cold sponging- keep the foot/feet in to the cold water for 20 min till tolerance. 2. Dorsiflexion excercise of foot for 10 min. Twice daily. 3. Use of soft silicone heel for your shoes & other foot wears. 4. Never be stand on feet for long time. 5. If it doesn't work go to the orthopaedic surgeon for local site (heel) injection of steroid/pro.

You can have hot water fermentation for 20 min. And there are few physiotherapy exs and machines which will give you relief. For this you have to go to some good physiotherapy center for 10 -15 days. Once you learn the exs, you can do them at home itself. You hv to do the exs regulary even if no pain persists. Do not bend in forward direction. If you want to pick up something from the floor, then first sit in squat position and then pick the thing. Always get up from your bed in side turn position. Use cushions and support on your your back area while sitting. Avoid sitting for long hrs.

I am 40 yrs, 45 kgs from last few weeks I am feeling low sensation in right half of the body also getting numbness on this side please suggest diet, exercise and medicine thanking you dr.

Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I suggest you follow the below for your condition: take mag phos 6x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Also do x-ray of the affected area. Heat and ice packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately.

Do arobic excersices, yoga, tadasan, pachimotanasan, masandrasan (learn from guru than do it) take rcompound tablet 2 in morning after lunch end 2 tablet after dinner. Massaje maha narayan taila morning end night. After 2 hours gets up from chair walk few minuties than work again. Take 1calcium tablet with milk after dinner. Walking will also help.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation.
