Hi, try having warm lemon water with honey every morning. Below tips could help you start your weight-loss journey. 1. Never eat a snack out of a carton or a cover. Always use a cup or a plate to so you know how much you are eating. 2. Have at least one bright colored fruit and one bright colored vegetable a day 3. Take a small snack box to office with almonds, walnuts and other dry fruits to satisfy your cravings 4. Try to have your dinner by 8 so that you are not too hungry and also make healthy choices at dinner. 5. People who eat breakfast have a better success rate at losing weight. 6. Beware of zero trans fat and fat free foods as you might end up eating high sugar and carb containing foods. 7. People who are emotional eaters learn to identify the emotion that makes you eat unhealthy food and try diverting your mind to something else you love 8. If your plates are too big trade them off for a 9 inch plates 9. Replace your weighing scale with a tape measure. 10. Share your weight-loss journey with a family member or friend so that you are accountable to each other. 11. Green tea at least once a day will help you boost your metabolism 12. Sleep helps in repair and regulating your hormones. Sleep atleast 8 hours in a day. 13. Have fruits at least twice a day.

I am 30 year old. Having back pain frequently while riding the bike. This starts while last month onwards. Inspected the bike having any shock absorber problems. But not having any problems. Is it will be because of the posture of driving? I am already having a bend at chest. The bike is only six months old. Please give a reply.

Advice…. Hot Fomentation x twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction. Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x twice daily. Bhujang Asana x twice daily. Back Stretching.

I am suffering from sciatica pain problem in my back and leg. There is irritation going on continuously in my feet's. Can you please tell me sir how to get rid of this pain. What diet I should take? thankyou.

Sciatica is well treated with homoeopathy. Take IFT over lumber region 15 min X 10 days ok take IFT over thigh region 10 min 15 days take IFT over hamstring region 10 min X 15 days take IFT over gastrocnemius muscle 10 min X 5 days both legs 2 lid right 2 lids left leg ok do gym n better if yu do swim muscles will be strong.

1) Do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min., afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) Start natural calcium supplement. 3) Do regular stretching exercise 4) In yoga DO BHUJANGASAN, HALASAN & SURYANAMASKAR. This will give you relief in mild to moderate cases. Give feedback after 7 days. You need to do stretching of your leg muscles before start playing. Also start doing some back exercises to strenghten your muscles. Your muscles might not be able to take up the load during your playing activity. Do adequate warm up and stretching before you start playing.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Your father must have started having degenerative changes in his lower back region especially knowing that he has been a chronic smoker. If he has localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then he can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits him - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if his pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe him for next 2-3 weeks how he responds to this conservative management protocol. If he is not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy basket without bending your back. You may lift the basket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegtable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Hello lybrate user, there are lots of causes of your concern but I feel it might be due to electrolyte imbalances in your blood (such as sodium or potassium) but do consult physician for any other medical issue. Limit or stop using caffeine. Some people are sensitive to caffeine and may notice more symptoms when using caffeine products (such as tea, coffee, soft drinks, and some over-the-counter medications). If you smoke, stop smoking. Limit your intake of alcohol. If not hypertensive can have lemon juice with sugar and salt or water with glucose and electoral powder once or twice a day depending upon the severity.

Hello Mostly the causes of pain and restricted movement in shoulder are due to cervical disc disease, diabetes, shoulder traum or injury. So slow exercises and controlling sugar level is very effective. You can apply warm Rasna leave paste.

Most common cause of back pain is weakness of back muscles and core muscles. Bad Posture and Vitamin D deficiency are also very common and usually there are all these present. You need to strengthen your back muscles. Posture modification Do not lift weight Use hot fomantation twice daily Don't bend forward Some medicines will help.

I am having low back ache since April 2015. I have got the MRI done and the diagnosis is Disc bulge. I got treatment for 5 months of Lyrica 75 mg, calcium, D3 and nurokind gold. I became quite o.k but lately I am having severe burning in my legs. I can not stand for more than 5 mins. My legs pain a lot. I can not walk properly if I sit on floor. Kindly suggest some medicines. If I do exercises it aggravates.

Madam you are having radiculopathy associated to your posterior herniated disc. If the condition is not improving with medication you might need further help as with injections at spine or surgery for removing the herniated disc which can be decided on the basis of your examination and Mri scans. It is better to avoid exercises in acute painful stage. Hot bag and local gel application will provide you relief. Thanks take care.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.
