The main exercise is push-ups and squats/warm up - just concentrate on this very simple and effective exercises and you will notice change in a month. Push-ups - 20/25/30 (times) - in three stages. Squat - 20/25/30 (times) - in three stages. Bench-press with the weigh you can bear - that to 15/20/25 (times). Get back to me in 4 weeks for sure. I only hope he has been shown to a good consultant and diagnosis has been confirmed. Treatment has to be given under direct supervision of a physician. Extra medical care is required in view of presence of joint pains even after 2 weeks, advanced age and Type I diabetes. Frequent blood sugar tests and good control of glucose level by proper Insulin dosage should be a priority. Bed rest and regular nutritious food are necessary. There are safe pain killers and Paracetamol Tablets to be given on prescription of a treating physician only.

Hello- Internal vaginal abrasions during sex can be the cause behind your vaginal bleeding and burning. Use Ice for cold compresses, it will reduce your bleeding and will also subside the burning sensation. You can also wash your vagina with Alum/fitkari, it is a good anti coagulant which can stop bleeding and can heal the internal infection.

Hello doctor my mother having problem in sleeping. She is 55 year old. She is unable to sleep not more than 3 to 4 hrs daily. She is taking sleeping pills that also not helping. She is living alone and always thinking any some past incidents and worrying about that. How to treat this sleeping problem? Is there any specialist to treat this problem?

Hello doctor my mother having problem in sleeping. She is 55 year old. She is unable to sleep not more than 3 to 4 hr...
Follow these simple steps to ensure a good sleep every night and stay away from sleep disorders and other health problems associated with unhealthy sleep habits: 1) maintain a regular sleep routine - try to get at least 6 to 7 hours of uninteruppted sleep at night time Go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every Night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background 'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer. If you have tried all these and still have problems, please consult me for prescription medication.

Good morning mam. I have more body pains. I am used so many ointments. But there is no used.
Hello dear in case you have body pain, first all the physical possibilities or causes should be ruled out by undergoing certain basic investigations and taking up the medications accordingly apart from putting ointments. In case there is no relief, psychological possibilities may be considered and treated accordingly as psychological issues also may give rise to such kind of bodily pain.

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. MASTURBATION is normal, natural and never unhealthy. But Excess masturbation can kill your sexual stamina. Excess masturbation can also cause anxiety disorder, depression and thereby erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation etc. You can be sure; there are no side effects to masturbation if you are able to restrict it to thrice a week. Jogging and physical exercise are always good to keep you fit and stop worrying about sex and allied thinking. I suggest online sex counseling and therapy. Take care.
