push up is a good exercise. no problem. please make sure your hand is placed exactly below your shoulder joint, your whole body is flat(your bump should not be lifted), take your face vertically down toward floor in between hands. do follow some warm up and cool down exercise for your shoulder. best of luck

Pain killers are quick but not dependable in the long run. These may create side effects. I would suggest you to undergo snehan, swedan, virechan, massage or foot massage etc as per ayurveda principles at some good ayurveda hospital. For the time being mildly purgate, take hingwastak powder mixed in ghee within meals, drink hot water, take sutz bath, dashmool based treatment.

Causes Of Arthritis And Its Risk Factors!

Causes Of Arthritis And Its Risk Factors!

Arthritis is a disease in which the joints in your body swell. Inflammation or swelling can be caused due to body's natural response to injury or disease. It can cause discomfort in the form of pain, stiffness as well as difficulty in movement. Major types of arthritis are osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and gout.

Causes of arthritis

Arthritis is generally caused by a combination of factors. It can happen due to genetic factors in case the disease runs in the family. Sometimes it can be caused due to injuries of the past; it can also be a by-product of your lifestyle. Some of the common causes of arthritis are:

1. Genetic makeup in which arthritis can be a hereditary trait
2. Physically taxing work life or injuries caused in an accident
3. Imbalance in the immunity system
4. Infections in the joint.

Risk Factors associated with arthritis

1. Family history - You can be prone to develop arthritis if it runs in the family. It can occur due to its hereditary trait hence making you more vulnerable to the environmental factors which contribute to developing arthritis.

2. Age - The risk of arthritis can increase with age. Types like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout are more common in the old age.

3. Gender - Your sex is an important factor as women are more likely to develop rheumatoid arthritis while men are prone to suffer from gout.

4. Joint injury - Joint injury caused due to accidents or due to sports activities can trigger arthritis. People with previous joint injuries can develop arthritis in that joint.

5. Obesity - Excess weight can put a lot of pressure on the joints, on the knees and hips in particular. Hence, obese people have more chances of developing arthritis than fitter people. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an Orthopedist.

Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone.

Carpel tunnel syndrome needs surgery by an expert surgeon, please maintain her ppbs between 140-160 mg/dol. Don't give any pain killer for pain but in case of severe pain you can use volini spray locally.

This is cervical pain (neck pain) and that's the reason the pain radiates until the shoulder blades. If you keep ice that would help and along side you can do hot water fermentation. You shall use cervical collar which would help you to reduce the radiating pain ie. Due to the nerve compression I used to have a shoulder pain for working in front of the computer. Do you suggest any medicine or exercise? This is due to the improper posture as while sitting in front of the computer and it leads to neck pain and thereby it leads to shoulder pain After a good sleep getting up in the morning I get usually pains in shoulder joints & in the back: It looks like you are anaemic. That's the reason your body becomes tired though you had good sleep during the night. The pain in the shoulder and back shows that your muscles become too tired especially in the area of the body where you get maximum body weight (ie. Back) and the shoulder which moves excessively during the day for any activity which we do with our hand. If the pain subsides after the day starts ie. Once your metabolic activity starts in the body then you become alright, so you can take bath in good warm water which would help you to break the tiredness. And also you can check with your calcium & vitamin levels in your body by consulting.
