What you're describing is quite normal. The average person loses about 100 or 200 hairs a day. It's more noticeable for people who have long hair. Serious Hairfall is usually associated with factors like stress, pollution, poor nutrition, certain preexisting illness, heredity.Try to find out the cause and treatment can be advised accordingly.Start taking Biotin supplements along with proper diet.

How can I control my negative thoughts and tension, depression? It is affecting my health badly.
Just like any addiction, depression is also self created. Mentally strong people comes out of addiction and depression very fast. Sartak, always keep one thing in your mind always that nobody will come and feed you in this harsh but true world, not even parents, even our parents feed us to a limit but one truth is for sure that we all have to make our own way, our own destiny and the same people those neglected us once will be our well wishers when we taste success. Depression at your age mostly indicates towards 2 things- 1. Dissappointed love affair 2. Disappointed towards your future so by going into depression will not solve your problem, but you will have to find a solution of your present condition on your own and nobody will help you or guide you, you will have to use your own brain to come out of this depression and my homoeopathic medicines will help you in this direction but I want you only to take help of these medicines for few days and once normal, leave these medicines as I do not want sartak to be medicine dependent. Most of the successful people in this world have made their own way in their own terms and conditions but you simply by saying depression seems that you are scared of this world. Do not be scared and come out of your own created web and be a man. You can do what others can do, you just need motivation and nothing else. Work hard on your goals, only then it will be yours. Sitting idle and giving the name to your scares as depression will end you nowhere but darkness. One day you will surely thank me for these suggestions homoeopathic medicine alpha ts (wilmar schwabe india) drink 20 drops in 20 ml fresh water 3 times daily for 15 days. Passiflora inc q (dr reckeweg) drink 40 drops in 20 ml fresh water 15 minutes before sleep bramari pranayam daily bramari pranayam or bee breath 1. Close your eyes. Focus on your breathing. 2. Place your thumbs in your ears, your index fingers above your eyebrows, and your remaining along the sides of your nose. Keep each pinky finger near a nostril. 3. Breath in deeply through the nose. First, feel the diaphragm move down, allowing the lungs to expand and forcing the abdomen out; then feel your chest expand with your collar bones rising last. 4. Use your pinkies to partially close each nostril. Keep your lungs filled. 5. Breathe out through the nose while humming. Note that the humming sound should originate in your throat, not as a result of your partially-blocked nostrils. 6. Repeat twenty times. Starting from 5 times drink plenty of water daily.

Hi lybrate-user Know and understand how to gain weight in a healthy manner While some people try their level best to lose weight, others go to all kinds of lengths to gain weight in order to look healthy. Contrary to belief, people who are generally skinny don’t know how to increase weight and often find it difficult to do so. This is usually because they have a high body metabolism rate which doesn’t allow fat to accumulate, resulting in faster burning of calories. Fortunately, there are several tips to gain weight, which are not only effective, but healthy as well. How to increase weight and stay healthy If you are attempting to increase your weight, it is important to remember that simply eating anything at all will not help. Incorrect eating habits might not only affect your body functioning, but could also have other undesired effects on you. This is why it is important to eat correctly, while keeping track of your daily activities. Listed below are some simple and effective tips to gain weight. Put together a schedule Like most other things, it is essential to put together a detailed and achievable schedule that will help you gain the numbers you want. For this you will need to measure the different parts of your body like thighs, waist, hips, stomach etc. So that you can keep track of your progress. Along with keeping a track of your measurements, it is also necessary to keep track of the foods you consume and the kind of exercise that you might have to indulge in to help pile on the pounds. Prepare a nutritious diet plan When trying to increase weight, you simply cannot start by consuming fatty foods. Much like how you follow a particular diet to lose weight, you will have to chart a specific diet plan to put on weight. For this you have to pay careful attention to the proteins, fats and carbohydrates you consume. Ensure you diet has foods that are rich in calories and will help you gain weight like nuts, oats and whole grains. Other foods that can help to increase weight are dairy products like cheese, yogurt and ice creams. You can also include beverages like fresh fruit juices or milk shakes to help increase your weight. Strategic and frequent meals Instead of over indulging in food, it is advisable to consume 5-6 small portion meals every day, within a gap of 3-4 hours. When doing so, you should also make sure that you consume those foods that are higher in calories first, and then the ones with lower calories. For instance, while having breakfast, have eggs first and then cereal. It is also important that you eat the right kinds of food which will help you gain weight naturally, rather than foods that are full of sugars and fats. Healthy and nutritious snacks You are bound to feel hungry in between meals even on a healthy diet. In such times, it is best to keep nutritious and healthy snacks at reach to sate hunger pangs. Whole wheat or whole grain sandwiches, fruit and nut mixes, dry fruits and pistachios are some of the best snacks because they provide necessary nutrition and are tasty. Drink plenty of liquids One of the most important parts of a diet, whether losing or gaining weight, is to drink plenty of liquids to keep your body hydrated. However, while losing weight requires beverages like water and green tea, while gaining weight you need to have beverages that supplement you with calories. Fresh fruit juices and fruit milkshakes are some of the best options because along with keeping you hydrated, they also provide the necessary calorie intake and do not affect appetite. Weight and strength training In addition to consuming the right foods, it is also important to add weight and strength training to your daily activities. With this you can strengthen muscles, which in turn can help in increasing overall body weight. Light or medium strength or weight training will help in adding lean muscles, which is ideal for those who want to gain weight while staying fit. However, it is important to stay away from too much of cardio or aerobic exercises as they are usually used for burning fat and calories. Get adequate rest While eating all the right things and working out to gain the right amount of weight, it is also vital that you get adequate rest. Keeping up with a busy work life and looking after yourself well can be a little draining, which is why you need to sleep and rest well. This will rejuvenate both, your body and mind and leave you feeling fresh and healthy every day. These are some of the most effective tips to gain weight, naturally and healthily. However, if you don’t know how to increase weight in the right way, you can also consult a nutritionist or dietician to help you get the right schedule. This will ensure you have someone knowledgeable to speak to in case you run into any difficulties.

Burn Calories Faster by Climbing Stairs

Burn Calories Faster by Climbing Stairs

The last few decades have seen obesity has grown as the new social evil.  One of the major culprits is the reduced physical activity and sedentary lifestyle that has become the norm. It is therefore not surprising that weight loss is on everybody's personal goals.  In a lot of cases, ironically, the methods and techniques have involved turning the clock back, what was being done a couple of decades ago. Let us look at using stairs for example. From an engineering point of view, elevators and escalators were a major focus area in the 1900s and 2000s.  However, now, stair designs that are easy on the body are the highlight.

Let us look at some facts related to weight loss and climbing stairs. These should provide you sufficiently good reasons to start using the stairs next time when you have a choice.

  • Fact 1:  Climbing stairs help burn more calories per minute than jogging.  It is declared as a 'vigorous exercise'.
  • Fact 2: Climbing a step helps you burn about 0.2 calories and going down burns 0.05, so to burn 1 calorie, all you need to do is go up 5 steps or go down 20 steps.
  • Fact 3: However, though the number of calories burned is less by going downstairs, the muscles and joints used for getting down stairs are different. Using stairs to go up and down should be regularly practiced.
  • Fact 4:  Climbing stairs require about 9 times more energy than sitting and about 7 times more energy than required to take the lift.
  • Fact 5: For going up or down 3 to 4 flights of stairs, taking the stairs helps save about 15 minutes of valuable time (most of it waiting for the lift to arrive).
  • Fact 6: Regular use of stairs safeguards you against heart disease, diabetes, muscle weakness and stroke.
  • Fact 7: Endorphins are released when you climb stairs, which also induce a feeling of well-being.
  • Fact 8: Overweight people burn more calories by climbing stairs.
  • Fact 9: Taking one step at a time in more beneficial than taking two at a time. Calories are burned gradually, but more efficiently.
  • Fact 10: Climbing stairs is eco-friendly as well, as it reduces carbon emissions. Just another reason why you should avoid the lift!
