Kidney stones treatment depends on the types and size of stone, most kidney stones won't require invasive treatment. You may be able to pass a small stone by: drinking water. Drinking as much as 2 to 3 quarts (1.9 to 2.8 liters) a day may help flush out your urinary system. Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, drink enough fluid mostly water to produce clear or nearly clear urine. Pain relievers. Passing a small stone can cause some discomfort. To relieve mild pain, according to your medical history I may prescribe pain relievers such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen or naproxen sodium. Medical therapy. I am a doctor and renal (kidney) dietitian who will aslo prescribe a customized diet plan and medications to help pass your kidney stone quickly and with less pain. Do reply back for medications. Being also a general physician, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary tips taking into account patient preferences.

The natural remedies for kidney stones: 1. Drinking enough water and plenty of hydrating fluids (like herbal tea, water or fruit-infused water) is even more important if you have a sodium-heavy diet. While fluid intake varies depending on your size, diet, location and how much you work out, try to drink about 1 glass every hour. 2. Fresh foods that promote healthy kidney function include bananas, leafy greens of all kinds (and fresh-squeezed veggie juice), sprouted legumes, sprouted grains, fish and small amounts of pasture-raised poultry. 3. Vitamin E-rich foods — Berries, olive oil, almonds, avocado and squash are a few of the best sources of antioxidant vitamin E, which helps balance levels of oxalates and other toxins in the body. 4. Alkaline foods — foods that are acidic in nature and help balance the body’s pH level, like lemon or apple cider vinegar, can help the body pass kidney stones. 5. Magnesium and potassium-rich foods — Consuming plenty of magnesium and potassium can help balance calcium levels in the body, so include lots of leafy green veggies, cruciferous veggies, melon, bananas and avocado in your diet. On the other hand, here are some foods that can contribute to kidney stone symptoms: 1. Sugary foods 2. Regular unsprouted grains or refined grains — Most grain products (including flour and products like cereal, bread, rolls, cake, etc.) contribute to kidney stones because they have high levels of anti nutrients, including phytic acid. 3. Foods naturally high in oxalic acid — While all fruits and vegetables generally offer a variety of electrolytes and nutrients, some that can increase oxalate buildup in people prone to kidney stones include: spinach, tomatoes, eggplant, beets, celery, grapefruit/grapefruit juice, sweet potatoes, peanuts, almonds, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, parsley and cocoa. 4. Processed meats and cold cuts — Processed meat can cause the body to excrete calcium, which means more is sent to the kidneys where it can build up and form stones. 5. Caffeine and alcohol — Both are dehydrating and can be difficult to digest, which can make kidney stones worse.

Most people who are born without a kidney (or with only one working kidney) lead normal, healthy lives. First of all it's important to realize that you developed a gallbladder problem in the first place because you had an unhealthy liver. If your liver is not healthy, it will make poor quality bile. The bile will be prone to forming sludge and stones. Obviously you can survive without a gallbladder, but you are more prone to developing certain health problems. Your liver continues to manufacture bile, but there is no longer a place to store it or concentrate it. Therefore bile continually slowly trickles into the intestines. If you eat a fatty meal, you will not be able to secrete a large enough amount of bile into your intestines, therefore the fat will be poorly digested. This means many people experience diarrhea, bloating, nausea or indigestion. These symptoms can be treated with homeopathic medicines. Important note: Every case calls for detailed study of the patient individually. There are no disease specific medicines in homeopathy. The exact treatment is determined only on "in-depth" evaluation of the individual case. It is advised not to indulge in any kind of self-medication. Kindly contact me in private for further consultation. Your feedback matters. Thankyou.

Bleeding is a known complication. If persistent, it needs intervention. Intestinal injury is rare complication. Examination of CT scan, x rays prevent these complications.
