Hi lybrate-user, I can understand your concern. I would advise you to go for a second opinion here, with all your reports. You at least need anti-anginal medicine, including anti-platelet/ anti-coagulant therapies, if you are hesitating to go for angioplasty. Simultaneously, keep your diet and lifestyle streamlined, focus on a mediterranean diet pattern. You must cease smoking, if any, completely. Your lipid profile needs to be managed too. Do focus on anxiety/ stress reduction as well, through regular yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, anxiolytics etc all. Hope this helps. Take care and all the very best. Sincerely, Dr. Pritam (nd) bbsr.

My penis size is 3 inch after erect. Isthis ok or not If any drug or yoga suggested for this.
No any medicine increase the size of penis, maximum male sex problem not related to penis size bcz the length of vagina is about 6 inch, the outer 2 inch is most sensitive, the inner 4 inch being insensitive. To arouse a female one needs to stimulate only the outer lips and the outer 2 inch of vagina so man needs 2 inches of erect penis to satisfy a females.

I have sexual problem I am getting loose out my sperm in very short duration of sex. Even if during masturbation.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
I have sexual problem I am getting loose out my sperm in very short duration of sex.
Even if during masturbation.
Try Kegel exercises This is a great way of strengthening your pelvic muscles and gain strength for sex. It is like going to the gym, but for sex. Let me tell you how to do Kegel exercises. You have to practice it first. When you urinate, try to stop the flow of urine without your hands, just by contracting your muscles. The muscles you contract then are the pelvic muscles that are used during sex. Do not do this while urinating again, you can do this while you are sitting or standing, while working or doing other things. Once you know how to contract them try doing this a few times every day and this will strengthen them. Aim for at least three sets of 10 repetitions a day. You should see results in a few week.

I want to know what is the symptoms of diabetes mellitus & what is the symptoms of megaloblastic anemia.
Mr. Lybrate-user, diabetes mellitus invariably does not produce any easily identifiable symptoms, that is why many persons do not come to about its presence. When fully developed it may cause excessive urination, excessive thirst, excessive hunger, unexplained weight loss and tiredness. Megaloblastic anemia causes following symptoms: breathlessness on exertion, muscle weakness, abnormally pale skin. Pale conjunctiva and pale tongue, smooth tongue, glossitis (inflammation of tongue), nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea, rapid heart beat, tingling and numbness in hands and feet. All these symptoms improve rapidly once the condition improves.

Every 1 in 5 Women in India suffers from PCOS! Why? (And what they need to know)

Every 1 in 5 Women in India suffers from PCOS! Why? (And what they need to know)
Why every 1 in 5 Women in India suffers from PCOS? (And what they need to know)

Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a medical condition related to a woman’s endocrine system. Generally, this disorder is characterised by an imbalance of the sex hormones (oestrogen and progesterone), which leads to the development of multiple small cysts in the ovaries. Symptoms of PCOS include acne, irregular menstrual cycle and depression to name a few.
The causes of PCOS have not been accurately identified so far, but researchers suggest that the following factors might contribute to the onset of the condition.

1. Increased amount of insulin secretion- Women suffering from insulin resistance may get PCOS as their body is not able to effectively use this insulin, which results in increased insulin secretion by the pancreas. This, in turn, triggers more androgen (male sex hormone) production in the ovaries, making it difficult for the ovaries to ovulate.

2. Lower inflammation levels- The white blood cells present in your body form resistance against infections through a response termed as inflammation. Women with lower inflammation levels are likelier to get PCOS as the decreased levels stimulate polycystic ovaries, thereby producing more androgens.

3. Genetic factor- If you have a family history of PCOS, it’s highly probable that you may also get it as the disease is linked with your genes.

How To Live with PCOS

PCOS comes with numerous side effects like acne, obesity, infertility, excessive facial or body hair among others. There are certain lifestyle changes, which you may consider to manage PCOS and minimise its side effects.

1. Change your diet - Opt for a low carbohydrate, low sugar diet to keep your insulin levels in control, as insulin is responsible for increasing the severity of PCOS symptoms.

2. Try to maintain an ideal body weight - Obesity is known for worsening insulin resistance, and you can prevent this by regularly keeping your weight in check. You can practice some easy at-home exercise to reduce weight besides having a balanced diet.

3. Get yourself checked regularly - Visit a doctor and get yourself checked regularly for potential health risks as PCOS is often associated with increased chances of diabetes, heart diseases, certain forms of cancer, hypertension, and high LDL (bad) cholesterol levels.

4. Join a support group - Joining a PCOS support group will help you cope with your emotional difficulties, while helping you to live a better life by cultivating an optimistic outlook.

Is masturbation harmful for our health? Is that cause weight loss. Or any other sexual or unsexual health damage occurs. Want some good answer please.

Is masturbation harmful for our health? Is that cause weight loss. Or any other sexual or unsexual health damage occu...
It will not cause weight loss for sure. Masturbation is not really bad; it is the addiction to it that is bad. Not even the number of years is a problem but the frequency and compulsiveness to do it is to be considered for its ill-effects. At your age you may feel it difficult and it can become addictive if you have alone time, if you obsess about it, and if you are not into relationships. The problem with addiction to this is that you may go on to prefer masturbation to heterosexual contact, even when you are married. That obviously would be an insult to your wife and will lead to a lot of conflict. Heterosexual contact is very wholesome and the physiology is made exactly for penile and vaginal contact. You will instead enjoy a poor replica of this and not know or care for the difference. The second thing that can happen with addiction is that it will become compulsive and will have no boundaries or limits, since it can be done all by yourself, whenever, wherever, and however too. The big problem a lot of children get into is the guilt around this. A useful way to discharge the energy is to get into contact games, or exercises, or even hobbies to channelize it. Also you should not spend too much time alone, and you need to keep your mind occupied with other interesting things and a lot of socializing. Even if you are not interested in marriage, for whatever reasons, it will help you to get into a friendship with a girl and enjoy the relationship where there will be a lot of excitement when you fall in love. Right now your hormones may be very active and your physiological apparatus is primed and ready for sexual stimulation. But because of your age and even otherwise it is important to develop good control and not feed into your impulses. Keeping yourself occupied and living a healthy social life are the keys to manage your sexual drives.
