Hi, if the sinus infection is the only cause of her headache then disease clearance is the only choice. Generally a mother misses her food in time, take care of her breakfast. If all medical supportive management fails, then surgery is the treatment of choice for chronic obstructive sinusitis. Hope it helps you.

The antisynthetase syndrome associated with anti-jo-1-antibodies requires long-term immunosuppressive therapy in most patients. Whereas a complete clinical response of muscular symptoms is frequent, continued deterioration of the pulmonary system may occur despite immunosuppressive treatment, and may lead to fatal outcome. 2. Epilepsy cannot be cured completely, treatment helps to reduce symptoms.

Stem cells are also being used in Spinal cord injury, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke , Head injury etc only in the form of clinical trials. Stem cells have no role in curing Sensory Neural hearing loss as of today. Best wishes, Prof. Yashbir Dewan

How many years seizure disease can be cured when using medicines perfectly. But yearly once I am undergoing with that seizure. Can you please help me to get alternative solutions to resolve permanently this disease.

M.Sc - Psychology, MBA (Healthcare)

It depends on the diagnosis. Some get seizure free after 3 years of treatment but they still have 30% risk of getting seizure in their later life.

Dear Ma'am, As per your description, it seems to be a case of Migraine. In Ayurveda there are certain panchakarma therapies which are used to treat migraine problems. Sometimes repeated courses of therapies might be needed for getting a complete cure. So please go and consult an Ayurvedic physician and get treated.

Migraine- How to Diagnose

M.Sc - Psychology, MBA (Healthcare)
General Physician, Kangra

A migraine is basically a primary headache disorder. It is very common. The most unfortunate part is, it is undertreated and mistreated. How to know whether it is a migraine or some other headache disorder. Migraine patient usually has a headache which is mostly on one side sometimes bilateral in front of the head. It is throbbing headache i. E-patient feels his head will burst if not treated. Patients usually have a feeling of vomitings during the episode. The episode may last from 4hrs to 72 hrs. A migraine headache mainly gets increased on exposure to sunlight and noise. Patients usually get a headache when they are fasting or travelling or any other stress. A migraine usually affects the young people. It runs in families. Migraine headaches initially are very infrequent i. E patients have symptoms once or twice a year. Slowly the frequency increases. And in the end, the patient starts having a daily headache which is very annoying and difficult to treat.

What is the method to resolve migraine problem? Any medicine aur treatment, what is better and how many times it will continue?

There is a calcified nodule In my brain, Since last 10 years taking medicine. Now taking: levepsy 500
Is it curable.
If you have not had any seizures or fits in 5 years you can speak to your neurologist regarding reducing and maybe stoping the levipil. The module may remain but if you don't have fits then there's no further treatment required.

Few things related to headache so that we can plan the treatment accordingly - if pain is associated with blurred or decreased vision than check your eye sight for refractive error - if the pain is associated with cold and fever than we have to rule out sinusitis as the cause and if the pain is pulsatile in nature and with a throbbing pain usually with an aura than we have to rule out migrane as the cause - if the pain is associated with neck problems than we have to rule out cervical spondylosis as the cause - if the pain is associated with either low or high bp or due to hyperacidity than we have to treat the cause after examination.

Dear Vishal, Since your grandmother is already having Alzheimer's, you can not prevent it. You can reduce its progression further by giving cholinesterase inhibitor kind of drugs. For you not getting Alzheimer's later, you can keep active life style, play memory games, eat healthy and exercise regularly.
