Hi. I can understand your concern. Spine tb if diagnosed appropriately then it can be treated with proper anti tb medcines and it will be cured. For which you will need to consult a pulmonologist. And also additional measures need to be taken. Don't worry, you will be alright. Hope I have solved your query. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Dear lybrate-user. These indicate that different part and functions of your heart change with your mind set a lot and have begun to form a weakness. You need to take precautionary measures and treatment. The language is technical, so can be very alarming. But yes, you need to take care. Ayurvedic Suved and Reimmugen will give you the support. Some other medications may be required depending on other health parameters. Take care.

My 10 Year sister has asthma. What is the effect of using an asthma preventer long-term? I heard that using it for years might cause bone shrinkage. Is it true?

MD - Alternate Medicine, PGDIP.IN GERIATRIC CARE, Post Graduate Diploma in Holistic Healthcare
Ayurveda, Balasore
Hi, asthma is an incurable disease but suppressive in nature. Frequent use of asthma preventer not at all suitable to your body. Long term use may cause immune power loss as well as bone shrinkage. Try to create auto immune power to increase by natural way and restrain yourself gradually preventer. Ok.

I am 36 years old unmarried girl. I am having depression, anxiety and stress from last 9 yrs. I feel lethargic all the time. When I wake up in morning after 6-7 hours sleep, I feel lethargic. I sleep for 1 hour after taking tea in morning. After that I do breathing exercise to relax my body and mind. I do meditation for 15-30 mins also. After breathing exercise I feel relaxed and at ease. Is this normal to feel lethargic in morning? I am having lethargy due to depression or stress or lack of sleep or due to poor blood circulation or lack of oxygen in my body? How can I know the reason of having lethargy? Please give me advice.

MBBS, MD (AIIMS, Gold Medalist), Diploma in CBT (Glasgow)
Psychiatrist, Delhi
Feeling worse in the morning is one of the hallmarks of depression. I would strongly recommend you to see a psychiatrist. 9 years of stress is a long period and will have (if not already) impact on your heart and brain also. If you do not want to take medicines, psychotherapy can be done. But I really think it is high time you did something about this.

I have a really bad throat ache and fever and cough and cold. please suggest me some medicine And home remedy.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

Throat problem can happen due to weather changes, exposure to cold air or rain and certain sour food. 1. Mix some salt in warm water and do gargling. 2. Keep a clove and slowly chew it. 3. Drinking water frequently will reduce congestion if any. 4. Avoid fried and oily foods. We have good treatment in homoeopathy for your problem without adverse effects. You take homoeo medicine belladonna 30 (6 to 8 pills) --3 times (hourly) in the morning and arsenicum iode 30---3 times (hourly) in the evening for 3 days. Good to see people like you asking me this question----------------now I am answering this question not only to you but to all the listeners who are following lybrate-------------------do not depend entirely on medicines for your problems, use the home remedies also as our kitchen is full of those medicines, our old traditions--------------we all are entirely dependent upon doctors for our problems and always want an easy way out without making an effort---this is totally wrong------------we have all the knowledgable stuff around us like net, magazines, newspapers, we can take help from that, argue with your doctor about your problems and ask them an easy way out----------we go on giving medicines to our children suppressing their immune system which was alresdy suppressed due to infections, and from here all the basic problem starts and we gets surrounded by a web of medicines----------------------friends come out of this and make a routine in your life, a routine for everything, if you want to escape from the clutches of medicines after all health is wealth and medicines were never an alternative for all problems--------------------just take the example of this question in which Mr. Gulshan is giving a bronchodilators levolin which dilates the bronchioles in lungs to allow easy passage of air, but I want to ask you Mr. Gulshan, who is to blame for this, it is you to blame----------------do not give such medicines to your children until and ulness there is a seriour requirement------------------just try to build his immune system so that he could not easily and frequently gets infected and for this go for--------------2 leafs of geloy+ 5 leafs of holy basil (tulsi patta) + 5 leafs of neem-----------you add 12 leafs of all three in the water that your family consume daily by filling the cane of 10-20 litres with filtered water today evening before sleep and adding 12 leafs and using this water the next day------------do this daily and every morning alom vilom pranayam 10 times, and you will see that your child is ok in few days---------ok, lets presume that he will not be ok but once ok, try to adopt the above procedure in your life style and see the wonders in your life---------a drastic change--------------now frnds this is just one example but all can do this in normal practise and there are many other home remedies for various other [problems also but for learning this you people should make open your internal eyes and do not tey to take undue medicines------------medicines are only to be taken when there is need but we people take these medicines because of their easy avalibility and ignorance of people like you and just to save money most of us get them from unqualified practioners and even chemists which is totally wrong-------------------please I am sorry if I have hurt anybody but it is the time for you people to open your eyes unless it is too late-------------

Usually people start mouth breathing once they start jogging. Rate of breathing and depth required for strenuous excercise is not possible from nose. Try applying vaselin cream inside nasal cavity before jogging
