Hello, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given. Your thyroid test result is absolutely normal. There is no problem with the gland activity. As regards the sleep related problem in hyperthyroidism sleep does get disturbed. Thanks.

Hi I am 39 years old male and I am diabetic since 3-4 years. I consulted one local Ayurveda doctor for this but the medicine given by him didn't make any change. After 1-2 months of taking the medicine given by him I got erectile dis-function and as he spoke about erectile dis-function at me without any situation I suspect that because of his medicine I got the problem. I am doing physical exercise like walking everyday and away from sweets. Please suggest me a good medicine for diabetes and erectile dis-function.

Lybrate-user, with bilirubin 1.7 mg/dl, there is presence of jaundice. It is not such a serious condition. He should continue taking normal food. Since he is also has diabetes, the precautions being taken in diabetes are good enough. He should avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, bakery items, items made out of maida, sweetened aerated drinks (colas), sweet corn syrup containing products, highly processed food products, red meat, high fat containing milk products. Should consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and permitted fruits. Refrain totally from alcohol and smoking. Total diet should provide exact calories needed on the basis of his ideal body weight, exercise done daily and blood sugar levels. Thanks.

I am 66 years old a diabetic for the past twenty years. I had undergone angioplasty 12 years back. Suddenly I had a lump on the upper portion of my stomach which was moving from left to right side with a back pain. Ultrasound was normal and cardiologist said it it is nothing to do with cardio. In February 2015 my diabetic medicine was changed to zeta meta 500 mg. When I started looking up for drug reaction on the net all my symptoms tallied with zeta meta. I stopped on my own this medicine and increased my insulin by 5 units. All the symptoms including my breathlessness, Heaviness on legs and the lump in my stomach vanishes within 15 days. My physician does not agree with me and he refused to see the print out given by me about the side effects of zeta meta. nowadays I walk 3 to 4 kms and do exercise without breathlessness. I will be happy to get an explanation from any of our eminent doctors.

I have hypothyroid problem shall I drink cool water or not please suggest some food habits about it.
It does not matter what temperature is the water that you drink. I am not a big believer in too many dietary restrictions in hypothyroidism. What is important to take the medicine, regularly first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and do not eat for half an hour after taking the pill. Please get periodic tsh levels done! good luck.

Treatment for distal LMCA 90℅ with single vessel disease.
Am a diabetic patient. Type 2.
In a known case of diabetic we need to control sugar levels with medication, aerobic exercise and following a diabetic diet and if there are no collaterals and if the person is symptomatic than we have to go for bypass surgery.
