For dandruff-take 20 ml neem tail end take 50 ml perashute coconute oil mix end keep in bottal daily massaje morning end night with finger tips for a month. Change food habites. Add in yoyears food calcium, vitamines, proteins, minirales, green vegitabales, salad, do arobic excersices, yoga, will help. Use cap if you are going in sunlight.

Hye, thanks for the query. You are underweight for your height and hence your cheeks have shrunk. And of course taking tobacco is causing further drop in your health. So you need to concentrate on not only gaining health but deciding on stopping the tobacco addiction as well. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals. Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.

Two weeks ago, suddenly one day I had feeling of intense urge to have bowel movements ,associated with abdominal pain. I didn't have diarrhoea. I had 5 bowel movements on that day. The next whole day I had continuous feeling of having bowel movements. For next 5-6 days I had black coloured stools. From last one week I am suffering from abdominal pain and nausea after meals. I will suggest you to take antibiotics course after clinical examination and Avoid spicy food items and not to eat junk food and we also need to avoid peanuts and potatoes in our daily diet and eat only curd rice or khichdi for few days and drink only boiled water and For stomach pain take tablet Meftalspas-Ds eight hourly if necessary.

You can try olive oil to cure hair loss. How to use olive oil for the hair loss here is a step wise, olive oil hair loss treatment procedure, which can be easily carried out at home. Step 1 mix two tablespoons of olive oil with one tablespoon of coconut oil, in a bowl. Remember always to use extra virgin olive oil, as it is olive oil in its most natural form. Step 2 take a small amount of this mixture in your palm and with your fingertips, apply it on your scalp and hair. Step 3 massage your hair lightly. Remember not to pull the hair while massaging as it might increase the amount of hair that you are losing. Continue massaging for about fifteen minutes. Step 4 post massaging, take a shower cap and cover your head with it. Leave the oil on the hair overnight or for minimum four hours. This helps in better absorption of oil by the scalp and the hair. Step 5 in the morning, wash your hair with a mild shampoo or with a medicated shampoo. People who are suffering from hair loss should always dilute the shampoo with water and then apply it on the hair and scalp, rather than applying directly, as all shampoos contain chemicals, and these chemicals, when they come in direct contact with the scalp, can weaken the hair roots and thus, cause further hair loss. Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

These are the best methods to cure pimples fast -: • To control the sebum (oily) secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum (oil) production and causes pimples. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. Touch your face very less. • you can use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin and remove pimples.,• • Give Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for 3-5 minutes daily. • You can take 2 teaspoon of SAAFI SYRUP daily for 1 month for clear face. • Take 20 gm powder of Black pepper and 50 gm of Amla powder. Dear as per your height of 170 cm your weight shud be around 65 -70. Join a gym and do muscle toning exercises. They will get you the desired inch loss and give you a very nice toned body. All the best!

The word depressed is a common everyday word. People might say" i'm depressed" when in fact they mean" i'm fed up because i've had a row, or failed an exam, or lost my job" etc. These ups and downs of life are common and normal. Most people recover quite quickly. With true depression, you have a low mood and other symptoms each day for at least two weeks The common symptoms are (few might be present in a person with depression) Feelings of sadness, tearfulness, emptiness or hopelessness Angry outbursts, irritability or frustration, even over small matters Loss of interest or pleasure in most or all normal activities, such as sex, hobbies or sports Sleep disturbances, including insomnia or sleeping too much Tiredness and lack of energy, so even small tasks take extra effort Changes in appetite — often reduced appetite and weight loss, but increased cravings for food and weight gain in some people Anxiety, agitation or restlessness Slowed thinking, speaking or body movements Feelings of worthlessness or guilt, fixating on past failures or blaming yourself for things that aren't your responsibility Trouble thinking, concentrating, making decisions and remembering things Frequent or recurrent thoughts of death, suicidal thoughts, suicide attempts or suicide Unexplained physical problems, such as back pain or headaches General medical conditions and substances causing depression also needs to be ruled out. Hello, Common reasons for dark circle are aging, genetics, nutritional deficiency (of vitamin A, C, K, E), sleep deprivation, worm-infestation, anemia, smoking & drinking, dehydration, sun exposure, allergies, stress/ tension and hormonal changes. Dark circles are linked to anemia, and liver diseases. So, in case of dark circles which are there due to some underlying cause can be get rid rid of once the causative factor is rectified. But the dark circles which are inherited from our genes can't be removed completely, to some extent can make slightly better. Diet and Management: Always take a balanced diet rich in green leafy vegetable, dairy products and all types of fruits to keep your body healthy. It is advisable to have at least 10-12 glasses of water and include fresh fruit daily. It is also advisable to restrict the intake of caffeinated drinks such as tea, coffee, alcohol and other caffeinated drinks as it aggravates dehydration. Take enough of 6-8hrs. Of sleep. Avoid taking stress/ tension. Do daily exercising regularly as it increases oxygen carrying capacity of the cells and tissues. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines – Schwabe's Cina 1M/ one dose at night for 10 days; Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. - both twice daily for 20 days. Revert me there after. For acne pits: If you are talking about acne pits on the skin, then they can only be taken care with various skin treatments like microdermabrasion, skin polishing, chemical peels, laser, etc. But getting totally rid off this is a bit not possible or else you can consult a dermatologist.

It's the 10th to 18th day from the first day of menstruation is usually considered as unsafe period in a regular cycle and there is more chance to get pregnancy. As per the information provided by you, on last day of the menstrual period ovum is not available for fertilization so you don't need to worry about pregnancy. And the reason for irregular period is multifactorial, maybe due to stress, anxiety of pregnancy, anemia and some medication like I pill or unwanted 72 etc. So if you are positive that the unprotected sexual intercourse has taken place in unsafe period, you need to do pregnancy test. Stay relaxed and take food rich in iron. Consult physician if the problem still persists. Contact if need further assistance.

1. Protein is the key for the muscle building. Without adequate protein, muscle gain and growth is not possible because weight training demands for amino acids (which comes from protein). You should daily eat about 2.2g of protein per kilogram of your weight. For example, if you are 50kg , then you should eat 50x2.2=111g of protein spread over 5-6 meals in the day. Include high protein foods in your diet. Your protein intake should be from foods rather than from supplements. Good protein foods: beans,soybeans, whey, fish, dairy products (low fat variety), meats, nuts and seeds (almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds), peanut butter. Many of these are easy digestible foods. Milk is one of the best muscle foods. The milk contains two high quality proteins, about 80 percent whey and 20 percent casein. Whey is quickly broken down into amino acids and absorbed into the bloodstream. Whey is very good to consume after workout. Casein is digested more slowly and provides the body with a steady supply of protein for a longer period of time. Cheese is concentrated milk, so it is high in protein and calcium, fat and cholesterol. Include healthy skim yogurt in your diet, which can give you as much as 120 calories. 2. Eat custard apple (Saripa, Sitaphal) to put on some weight. This fruit is high in calorie. 3. Healthy fats: Avoid fatty foods. Most mothers, especially in India give too much ghee or butter to their children, thinking they will put flesh fast. But ghee is mostly saturated fat which is not a healthy fat for any body. Healthy fats are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids. Good fats: cold pressed oils (olive, sunflower, linseed, canola ). 4. Drink pure fruit juice. It is full of sugar and added nutrients so it is a healthy and nutritious way to gain some pounds. 5. Complex carbohydrates are also needed for gaining weight.. Corn bread is also full of carbohydrates, one piece gives approximately 328 calories. Potatoes are rich sources of carbohydrates and complex sugars, eat baked or as grilled potatoes. Pasta is a calorie rich cereal carbohydrates. 6. Eat bananas. These are rich in carbs and nutritious, one banana contains approximately 100 calories. 7. Some people think that drinking beer helps, but it is not true, it accumulates in your abdomen, making it fatty. Don't take protein supplements for gaining muscles

For last few days I observe that my left forearm gets senseless often, sometimes with mild pain also. Lam 66 and DM2 on medication with last Hb1Ac reading as 7.4.Is it due to diabetes or early warning for heart problem?

It could be peripheral neuropathy which is common in Diabetes. Also heart issue could be there. Make sure you do ECG and 2d echo to check if your heart function is normal.

My daughter (now 20 years old) has stubborn fat which will not go by dieting or normal exercise. She is in college and has lot of work and cannot spend a lot of time for rigorous exercise. Dear Lybrate User... Your daughter can definitely be fitter with lesser weight. It needs some time and proper guidance. 1. There is no such thing as 'stubborn fat'. Body fat is just fat. 2. Extra fat is a deposit which has accumulated due to imbalance in food and activity. 3. In our households we keep force-feeding / over-feeding our children to make them look 'chubby' .....but one fine day when they grow up... we realise they are overweight and we look for instant solutions to quickly remove that fat. 4. You need to alter the way food is cooked and served at home. 5. Oils - Cut down all fried and oily food.. Per person per day oil limit is 4 teaspoons. This includes any type of oil/ghee total. 5A. Cut down all puris, parathas, pakodas, papads etc which consume too much oil. 6. Sugar - per person per day 4 teaspoons only. 7. These have to be strictly measured on a daily basis and then you will realise how much excess oil/sugar is being consumed. 8. Focus on creating fruit salads, veg salads, sprout salads. These should be available at all times. Increase consumption of all types of fruits. 9. Don't keep any mixture / namkeen / chocolates / biscuits / cakes in the house. 10. Eat simple meals, avoid ordering from outside / eating out 11. Just guide your daughter to follow these guidelines even at college because the college kids consume a lot of junk food, chips, colas, chocolates... which accumulates as fat in the body. 12. She has to find time for at least 30 minutes everyday for exercise / walk / yoga or gym. If a young person does not work out for at least 30 minutes, they would face health problems later. Such things must become lifelong habits. 13. It is good that you are trying to help out your daughter... For this the food habits and exercise habits of the entire household members have to change. 14. Nature has the best answers for health. 15. Keep striving. Never give up
