Medicated oil massage, hot fomentation, warm water for drinking, cows ghee in regular diet, stress free life, milk & milk products, take dry fruits, take seasonable fruits, green vegetables, regular exercise, do yoga ,pranayam daily, avoid oily, spicy ,fast, bakery foods, avoid excessive salt intake, dry foods, avoid foods kept in fridge, avoid excessive tea, coffee,cold drinks, avoid tobacco, smoking,alcohol etc. If any of these addiction. My spouse having romatheic arthritis with hands finger and leg finger got bend not able to walk also all joints are got bulged and hand joints not able to move. Is there any possibilities for good treatment and cure ?

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 1 wk, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hi there can be multiple causes for knee pain, you need to describe in more detail. Meanwhile you can take few precautions. 1) if you are overweight, try to loose weight with balanced diet and exercise. 2) do not ignore pain, take rest. 3) wear comfortable sports shoes while walking. Hi the best way to correct knock knees in adults is to strengthen the knee by doing a series of exercises. Various types of exercises can be done to strengthen the knees including seated quadriceps contraction, leg strengthening exercises and hamstring curls. Hello if you r running or standing or your doing more step activity or any jurky movment to your knee than stop doing all stuff take rest for 3, 4 days put ice pack over knee and aply dolentia relex gel after if pain relives than start doing some good knee strengthening exercises if pain dosent reduce than visit to physiotherapy center and take ift over that pain part.

Dear Suryank I'm Dr Prashant Parate, Shoulder and Knee Surgeon, sports injuries Specialist. I would like to tell you that if you properly do exercises and running, use good quality shoes and change them frequently as advised by guidelines, run on proper surfaces and not on tar roads, then your joints will get in good shape.
