I have a skin diseases on my back side of whole body. Pimple type black spot is there.

I have black spots as well as pimples on my back. I used scar removal cream for 4 months. But I did not see any changes. Wht should I do now?

Traditionally, Ayurveda has suggested that individuals with high pitta, who are prone to developing pitta-type problems such as sunburn in the summer season or Acne, can take a blood-cleansing herbal combination. For example, mix the herbs manjistha and neem in equal amounts. Take ½ teaspoon of this mixture 3 times a day with warm water after meals. It will cleanse the blood and help to heal pitta-type allergies. The common Western herb burdock is also an effective blood purifier; you can make a tea from ½ teaspoon burdock per cup of boiling water and drink it 2 or 3 times a day. For external care of your skin, you can follow these remedies: TEA TREE OIL: Use tea tree oil facewash twice a day followed by tea tree toner and an oil free moisturizer. LEMON JUICE: Apply fresh lemon juice on the affected area with a cotton ball. Leave it on for around 10 minutes then rinse with cool water. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR: Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water and use the mixture as a toner. Apply on your face with a cotton swab. ALOE VERA: Aloe Vera has burn-relieving properties and can promote healing, fight infection, and even reduce scarring. Scrape out the gel from an aloe plant with a spoon, and apply to your face. HONEY AND CINNAMON: Add half teaspoon of cinnamon powder with 1 tablespoon of honey and apply on face. Leave it for an hour, or if possible leave it overnight. Then wash off.

I have a black patch on my forehead. I got it suddenly as I moved to different place for the basis of work. I have applied fairlite cream and found no change. It looks awkward in face. I found that I am getting black skin on my fist too. Doctor, Please suggest me the better solution.

Hi apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water. Take pranacharya b clean syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Wash your face with chandrika soap. Prepare a neem leaves mustard oil and apply on your skin. Avoid hot food & spicy food .

I had a tumour in right breast which was Benign I got it operated 6-7 years back. Then again after 3 years of operation I again got the similar thing in my left breast. I got it checked it was Benign as well. I recently have been diagnosed with pcod. Initially the time didn't pain except before periods but lately it has been since 2-3 weeks n the breast size has also increased. Even walking briskly or bending leads to pain. Do I need to chk with the medicine given by my gynecologists or is it an indication of something else?

Dear lybrate user. Though it is a benign tumor but there are chances that it may turn malignant. Consult your surgeon, get the lump removed and get rid of it. This time only small surgery is required but if it turns otherwise a massive surgery will be needed. If you do not want to undergo surgery this time at least get fine needle aspiration done.

I have pimple and dark spots. Also acne scars like my skin is carved out at some places. My face skin also look shrinked. Is it ok to apply tea tree oil on face? Can it help me?

You need a proper and little long term dermatological treatment for good and long lasting effects. And your scars will require some procedures. You can try the tea tree oil if you find it effective. But there are no studies regarding it, so I would better not comment. To avoid spots and scars, don't touch or press on your acne. Keep your skin clean. Follow a healthy lifestyle and exercise regularly. Please send me some good quality photos for a better management.

Is turmeric suitable for all skins and how to rid black spots and small pores by using turmeric.

Hi, Although turmeric is good for fair skin and has anti-bacterial properties, it is not good for sensitive skin and may cause small eruptions on skin. First, do patch test on your face. Include healthy, nutritious food, doing daily yoga or some kind of exercises. All these automatically reflects glow on your face. Yes, the colour which is inherited from your parents/ ancestors, cannot be changed, but you can try to get glow on your face! Daily Regime: Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e. Cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 – a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4 hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. Lead a healthy lifestyle! Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker! (Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role). If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter. Diet: -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon, orange,gooseberry, etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, can notaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce. If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Medicine: Use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel or Bakson’s Fairness cream daily at night. For open pores: Open pores can be the result of lack of proper cleansing resulting in the deposit of oil, dirt or even dead skin in your pores. It is extremely important that you follow the ritual of a face clean at least once a week which includes a massage with a cream, exfoliation for the removal of dead skin cells and a face pack to close the pores opened while the process of exfoliation. This basic routine makes sure that your skin is always prepped up, cleansed and clear of impurities. - Lemons are one of the most widely used herbal remedy to shrink the open pores as they naturally tighten the skin and brighten it too. -Fruits like Papaya are best known for their exfoliation properties. Using a papaya for cleaning the face not only scrubs away all the impurities but also helps in removing black heads and other impurities of the skin. -Egg whites work as natural dryers of the skin and thus they greatly help in shrinking the pores and helping with the problem of open pores. -Another way of dealing with the problem of open pores is yoghurt. -Fuller’s earth is an excellent medium to control excessive oil and cleansing the skin gently and deeply. -Natural Astringent: there are several other natural astringents which can be used on the skin for the treatment of open pores like peach, pineapple, orange, strawberries and other citrus fruits. Apart from these, you can also use rose water and aloe vera gel for open pores.

Hello sir, My skin is tanning. I am not rooming in sun light also. What should i do?

Use a broad spectrum sunscreen both indoors as well as before going out. It shud b both uva and uvb protective. Always use your umbrella whether its raining or not. Protect your eyes with a sunshade. Avoid scrubbing your face. Do not steam or sauna. If you swim, use a sunscreen prior to it and after. Avoid face cosmetics for the time being. You can press powder onto your sunscreen if at all you want to use a cosmetic. Drink two litres of water everyday. Pick up carrots, papaya, pumpkin, black grapes to have everyday. These contain important antioxidants. Use a face pack of coffee and honey to scrub face and wash after ten minutes.

I have black marks on my forehead and around my mouth, I have been using face washes and some other creams too.

There is in ayurveda mention pinda swed. It is a type of swedan karma [phomentation] but it do some another manner. 1. Boiled a rice in milk then take this rice in one white cloth then tied it properly and warmly it rub on your face every morning for 15 days then stop it and do next month again 2. Apply almond oil on your face and massage for 3-5 min at night. By doing above thing you will get good result.

I have many marks in my face because of pimples. I didn't take any treatment for that yet and that marks creating inferiority feeling, please give me solution or suggestions for treatment.

Take fuller, s earth (multani mitti) and sandalwood powder (chandan powder) mixed in same quantity mixed in water and apply on the mark in night and wash it after 1 hour. It will slowly removes the marks. 2. Take a piece of aloe vera. Apply gel of leaves on mark daily. Wash it after 30 minutes. 3. Crush one tomato and apply the paste on mark. It will lightens the mark definitly. 4. Soak cotton gauze in rose water and clean the dark marks 2-3 times daily. 4. Take carotene rich vegetable suchas carrots, beetroot and fruits- mango, pineapple, strawberry regularly.

Hi apply melaglow cream on the affected areas twice daily. Continue this for 6 weeks and revert. Besides this take proper sleep, avoid stress, take plenty of fruits and vegetables and avoid applying kajal on your eyelids.

Apple is a miracle fruit for the skin.The alpha hydroxy acids or AHA’s present in apples improves skin color and elasticity of the skin.Soak peeled apple slices in milk for 20 minutes and then blend to form a creamy paste.Place in the freezer for 10 minutes, and then mix a tsp of lemon juice, apply all over your face and neck.Rinse off after 15 minutes with cool water and massage an ice cube.The skin looks baby soft, smooth with a rosy white glow.Follow this for a week to get fair skin naturally.

Hi, Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e. Cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Prevention: -Take healthy food only and avoid unhealthy ones (although sebaceous glands are not excretory glands then as well!) as what you eat is reflected on your face! -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension as it encourages secretion of stress hormone in the body as thus affects skin or any other tissue of the body. -Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water in a day. -Take 6-8 hrs. Of sound sleep everyday. -Don't use others towels, handkerchief on your face as well as never share yours. -Never ever rub your face as it damages the skin (even towel should be dab on skin softly) and break outs of acne get worsened! -Maintain hygiene, wash your face 2-3 times in a day, changes the pillow covers, bed sheet daily, use cotton bed sheet only (try to sleep on your back). Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 30 days.

I never really took care of my facial skin and at this stage I have really dark dark circles under eye. Please help me to get rid of those and to get the actual complexion of my skin with which I was born. Should I buy some under eye cream for removing dark circles? Hello, Common reasons for dark circle are aging, genetics, nutritional deficiency (of vitamin A, C, K, E), sleep deprivation, worm-infestation, anemia, smoking & drinking, dehydration, sun exposure, allergies, stress/ tension and hormonal changes. Dark circles are linked to anemia, and liver diseases. So, in case of dark circles which are there due to some underlying cause can be get rid rid of once the causative factor is rectified.
