I am suffering with pcos problem .i consulted one doctor she gave me metahormic hydrochloric acid 500 mg tablets .i was having irregular periods after having tht tablets I got 1 normal period. After that again I missed tht period and I checked for pregnancy I got negative. So what I have to do now to get normal periods again. I should continue those tablets ?or I have to consult a doctor again ?what I should do now.

Hi, in PCOD you will not get monthly egg formation.That is why irregular periods.The tablets you are taking is only to help in resetting the hormonal changes due to PCOD and try to make the ovary to ovulate.This you can take till you get pregnant.Along with that do exercise which is the surest way for healthy ovulationAfter trying like this for three to six months if you do not get pregnant go for other treatments.

Doctor I hv got some kind of skin allergy on the back. It is itching and when I am sweating it is itching a lot. The skin seems to be a little cracked and chapped.

Hye, Thanks for the query. You are underweight. You need to improve diet to improve weight first. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help. Try taking milk and fruit or smoothie after workout.

Mr. Lybrate-user, diabetes mellitus is a disease occurring due to either deficiency of insulin or resistance to its action (mostly due to excess fat), so the treatment is directed towards increasing the availability of insulin in the body. There are some drugs which increase insulin secretion (oral), but in some patients those do not work. Then insulin is the only option. So it is possible that in your case insulin must be needed that is the reason doctor has prescribed. There is no other option to control diabetes, but along with drugs (insulin) diet control and exercise are a must for proper sugar control.

. Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns, the ability to finish early and quickly can be advantageous in many areas in life, but not when it comes to sex. Premature ejaculation is a common and often distressing problem for couples who simply want to find ways to make sex last longer. Premature ejaculation is one of the most common sexual dysfunction in men, however very few ever talk about it due to embarrassments. No one is born with the ability to control ejaculation. Men can learn to control ejaculation similar to the way bladder control (toilet training) is learned at young age. Male and female differ widely in terms of of sexual responses, male gets quickly aroused and female takes longer time to get aroused, male reaches climax quickly, its physiological and normal, but not ideal, to prolong sex duration man has to work hard, he has to slow down mentally, by diverting mind from situation, and learn ways how to delay his reflexes. One idea is to stimulate the partner by foreplay to near orgasm sate and penetrate. Count number of strokes if it is less than 45 plus minus 15. Means (30 to 60) then seek medical advice. If satisfied ok otherwise consult.

Hello there, for cough, take 2-2 teaspoonful of pranacharya kasantak by mixing it in hot water twice daily. Sitopaladi, praval and tankan bhasm churna taken with honey can also bring relief. Consume this 3 to 4 times a day for relief from dry cough; you can also drink tea with basil leaves or add ginger and black pepper in it. Salted hot water gargling also helps. And stay away from cold drinks and don't take milk when having cough.

Hlo .My husband take sex pill. Vigora ,manforce, etc.Is it harmful for him or not. And how much time these pill increase sex time. How much time before it take to intimate.

Regular use of vigora or manforce is not good for health. He can take it sometimes that is once or twice a week. These pills increase erection of penis and are not for increasing sex time. He can take half an hour before sex.

I have sugar since last 15 year. I am taking insulin from few month. During past one month some time my sugar level come down to very low 40-50 and sweat heavily. After taking one teaspoon of sugar /candy it improves. I have consulted doctor but still problem is there. Sometime sugar level increase beyond 250. What is the reason ?it is related to heart stroke.

Not related to heart stroke basically you need to regulate your diet. As your sugar levels are varying. As you take insulin the units needs to be managed according. Keep check of your sugar levels on glucometer before and after every meal for 3 days. You will get the average fluctuations in blood sugar levels.
