My friend has irregular menstrual problem. Since she's been an anemic patient and her periods are getting at least 10 days late than the expected date. She's not serious about it. Is it a serious problem for her now or in future? Her haemoglobin is lower than normal and she's on a liquid diet to reduce her body weight and fat. I hope for some answers. Thank you.

Most people have white hair in late 30s. But in some it can start very early as in your case. This condition is called premature greying or premature canities. Certain medical conditions like thyroid problems, stress, vitamin B12 deficiency etc can cause greying of hair. So get yourself checked if you suffer from any of these conditions. Also do not take too much stress, have a good 8 hour sleep, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables so that vitamin deficiencies can get corrected.

For your age excessive Urination could be due to 1.Drinking lot of water/ excess tea/ coffee/alcohol 2.Urinary Tract/bladder infection 3. Bladder stone causing a blockage in ureter/bladder, stone in urinary tract, cystitis, interstitial nephritis 5.Diabetes mellitus/Diabetes inspidus, Hypertension, 6. Stress/Anxiety/nervousness, 7.Do urine Re/Me, Blood sugar testing, Take USG KUB, and consult urologist for advice.

Doctor I have motion sickness and somewhat eye strain kind of thing. My doctor has been treating it with stugeron. I google so I got something called see sick syndrome. Could you please tell me how to treat it.

Google is for guidelines and not for diagnosis and motion sickness is due the feeling you get when the motion you sense with your inner ear is different from the motion you visualize. It is a common condition that occurs in some people who travel by car, train, airplane or boat. Many people suffer from this condition if they ride on a roller coaster or other similar amusement park rides. Motion sickness progresses from a feeling of uneasiness to sweating and/or dizziness. This is usually quickly followed by nausea and/or vomiting. Draminate or dramamine is good for tiis while travelling.

There are many causes of yellow or discolored teeth. A few of the most common: 1.Drinks: Coffee and red wine cause major damage to teeth.. But other drinks with high acidity, such as soda, juices and even sports drinks can cause staining on the teeth. Even white wine is not far behind in staining our teeth yellow, because its tannins and acidic nature wear away at the tooth enamel.These Acidic drinks lowers the Ph of teeth below 6 thus causing corrosive wear and tear of teeths. 2.Certain Foods: Colored candies, popsicles and other bright foods can cause staining over time. Think of it this way – if your tongue turns a bright shade of blue, chances are your teeth are getting some of that discoloration, too. Even healthy foods such as berries (blueberries, cranberries, raspberries) can stain teeth. Ketchup, curry and other sauces can cause staining problems over time, too. 3,Natural Aging Process: Quite simply, teeth yellow over time. Develop these habits early and you’re less likely to have dental problems down the line. Teeth Whitening: The good news is that there are many options available to whiten teeth. aloevera juice with added preservatives etc is not useful for long term use aloevera fresh juice can be taken by consulting ayurved vaidya as aloevera has bhedan properties which stimulates liver function overusage or long term use of aloevera juice causes bleeding piles like problems intake after consulting with vaidya is better option

Follow general motors diet if possible http://www.iimahd.ernet.in/~jajoo/gmdiet.html We have charts in details about dos n don't for weight loss. Also few medicines if u want. Consult if possible. N remember weight loss is very long process may b of years so keep in mind of long journey. As there is no short cut.

Hello, your are overweight by 42 kg, approx. Obeasity generate canine hunger, sleepy attitude, litharzicity, anguish temperament aversion to entract with any body out of depression being obeased. How Long Do You Need Physiotherapy Post-Fractures?

A broken bone or a fracture can be painful and it requires medical attention for the fracture to heal properly. Proper healing is necessary for the right alignment of the bone. A doctor chooses to either reduce or set the bone in terms of new alignment. The bone reduction can happen manually or surgically depending on the severity of the injury. A Surgical procedure known as the open reduction internal fixation is performed for serious fractures. It ensures that the all the broken pieces are fixed together and the injury can heal properly.

Post the fracture, the bone need to be immobilised for proper healing. This is generally achieved by imposing a cast. For fractures that are not severe in nature, a doctor might choose to impose a temporary cast so that simple motion can happen around the site of the injury. For serious fractures, a permanent cast is placed around the injury site. In the case of a shoulder injury, a patient is required to wear a sling so that the bones are immobilised.

Time Duration of a Therapy Session:

While the exact duration of physiotherapy can vary from individual to individual, it takes a minimum of 2-8 weeks for the fracture to completely heal. Certain fractures take more time to heal. The rate of healing also depends on the severity of the injury, pain threshold level of the patient, extent of work with the physiotherapist, the robustness of the physiotherapy program, extent of the injury of the soft tissue and certain other factors. Typically shoulder and neck injuries heal quicker than a fracture of the legs. The time duration of fracture healing also depends on the type of bone that has been affected.

Physiotherapy in a Hospital:

If the fracture happens in the ankle or leg, a physiotherapist might have to intervene in the hospital in order to teach patient about using assistive devices such as crutches and cane. Things that are taught during this time include using the device in order to climb stairs, right walking posture, getting into a car, taking the device off while sitting and such other techniques.

Physiotherapy at Home:

Physiotherapy can also happen from home if the doctor specifically instructs to do the same. This is typically done for people where the condition is too serious to go outside and get the physiotherapy done. Certain weight bearing restrictions are imposed around this time. The training remains the same as in the case with a hospital.

In the Clinic:

Once the patient becomes mobile enough, a doctor might suggest a patient go to a clinic to get the physiotherapy done. A physiotherapist evaluates certain things such as pain, range of motion, gait, flexibility etc. of the patient before suggesting a certain exercise plan. If you wish to discuss any specific problem, you can consult a physiotherapist.

Try to exert yourself more during the day, time so that the energy lost is more than the energy consumed. Thereby you will feel tired and go to sleep easily, take milk, fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet and see the difference.

For weight gain proper nutrition is a must. 1) you can start including more milk, cow ghee, fruits & vegetables in your diet. 2) stop eating junk & processed food. 3) make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee. 4) eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night. 5) boost up your apettite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins. 6) massaging whole body with vata balancing herbal oil (ksheerabala oil) is very beneficial 7) reducing stress level, sleeping comfortably for long hours and afternoon naps are very essential to increase body mass.

I have just recovered from Dengue, I am have lumps on my left leg which r very painful esp when I walk, I am 70 years old woman and walk at least 2 kms daily in the morning ,even now I have started walking though it is painful, pl advise. Thanks.

lumps can be due bruise or bleeding into subcutaneous issue. take analgesic like paracetamol for few days. take vitamin C twice daily. keep walking take care
