HYPOTHYROIDISM:--- where there is deficiency of thyroxine hormone leading to sluggishness, tired feeling, weight increase, slow heart beats, intolerance to cold, swelling of legs, feet and face, difficulty in concentrating and at times in speech. Treatment for hypothyroidism is giving thyroxine tablets. And dose are according to level of thyroid for life time. Avoid bad habits . Avoid stress. Some Relax during work. Go for walk, Take plenty of water, high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help. flax oil, Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. If the tooth breaks, have the tooth contoured. Fill the crack in. Place a crown on your tooth. If the tooth has been badly damaged and the nerve or pulp is exposed, the dentist may have to perform a root canal to save the tooth. If the tooth has been severely damaged, it may have to be extracted.

Thanks for the query. Low energy is due to lack of nutrition and energy most times. It is important to know that just eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfill your nutrient needs. Most often we skip meals especially when at work or in college. We start our day on empty stomach but our work or stress or activity is never reduced. This causes weakness and lack of energy levels. Food is our source of energy and if you don't eat well as per your needs you are going to get deficient in many nutrients. So, start by eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Sleep well.    Exercise at least thrice a week.

Hello sir, you have to follow good diabetic diet. Just have high protein, high fiber, low fat, low calorie diet. You should have idea about your carbohydrate counts. Sufficient water, every day 30-45 min physical activity or yoga, every day 10-15 min meditation, avoid tension and stress.

Hello lybrate-user, health is defined as a relaxed mind and fit body. Its a holistic approach of well balanced diet, physical activity for 30-40 mins 3-4 days/week preferably weight training and rest of 8-10 hours. All foods included in your diet should be power packed i. E giving you many nutrients and calories, also it should be high on proteins so as to help you in gaining muscle mass for better health and immunity. Examples-banana/mango/chickoo milkshakes with honey and nuts, paneer stuffed sandwiches/parathas, chikkis of peanuts/chana to be stocked with you as this can be conveniently had anywhere, dryfruits and mixed nuts. Overeating would harm more than help as it would lead to burning excess calories to use the food eaten leading to wastage of energy and in the bargain you might lose weight. If you have tried all of it then you can consult your doctor and undergo a check-up for any hormonal imbalances.

When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. So you should take following remedies improving weight a]triphala kadha 4tsp before lunch and dinner b]amala juice 4 tsp + sugar 2 tsp+ honey 2 tsp empty stomach in the morning umami flavor increases satiety and enhances appetite. Hello, Doing exercises regularly will not only cut down your belly fat, but also you will get a body in good shape and you will be get rid of many diseases related to it! Following exercises will help you to achieve this if you don’t have any other medical condition: 1.The Plank - Lie down on your tummy and then come on your palms and toes.Lift the knees off the floor. Draw your tummy muscles up and breathe deeply into the side and back of the rib cage. Aim to hold the pose for 30 seconds. 2.Static Tiger pose - Place your hands and knees on the floor. This is the starting position. Now lift up one leg and extend the opposite arm. Hold this Static Tiger Pose for 3 deep breaths. Come back to the starting position and swap sides, extending arm and opposite leg. You can look down towards the mat to keep the spine in line. This exercise will build core strength. 3.Sitting Spinal Twist - Sit on the floor and cross your legs. Place one hand next to your hip and the other on the knee. Rotate the spine and look over one shoulder into a Sitting Spinal Twist. Inhale. Exhale back to centre. Swap sides, rotating and looking over the shoulder. Inhale. Exhale back to centre. 4.Stomach Crunches - Lie on your back, knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Place your hands on your thighs, across your chest or behind your ears. Slowly curl up towards your knees until your shoulders are about three inches off the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds and lower down slowly. Perform 12 stomach crunches. 5.Oblique Crunch - Lie on your back, knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Roll your knees to one side down to the floor. Place your hands across your chest or behind your ears. Slowly curl up towards your hips until your shoulders are about three inches off the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds and lower down slowly. Perform 12 oblique crunches and repeat on the opposite side. Medication: Start taking Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before meals for 1 month. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!

Dear Mr. Lybrate-user. As you are already on medication for t. B. I would not advise to take any other medicine. However you can try a home therapy to prevent nightfalls. Soak 5 gram of rock sugar (misri) & 5 grams of fennel (snouf) in a glass of everyday when you go to sleep. When you get up from sleep next day drink that mixture. Repeat the process for 15 days.

Whenever you face a camera you feel uneasy and you try to avoid it, and there is no other problem in any spheres of your life except facing camera. This indicates the possibility that you may be having Specific phobia for photography. Specific Phobia is a type of anxiety disorder. In specific phobia, a person has unreasonable or irrational fear related to exposure to specific objects or situations. As a result, the affected person tends to actively avoid direct contact with the objects or situations. The fear or anxiety may be triggered both by the presence and the anticipation of the specific object or situation. Although people with this type of phobias realize that their fear is irrational, even thinking about it can often cause extreme anxiety. Exposure to the object also causes various physical symptoms such as pounding heart, vomiting tendency, diarrhea, sweating, trembling or shaking, numbness or tingling sensation, shortness of breath, dizziness, choking sensation, chest pain or discomfort, stomach upset, chills or hot flashes, looking flushed etc. This phobia may be associated with some traumatic experience of childhood; maybe some unpleasant incident happened during your childhood while clicking photo when you were a child. Though the actual event forgotten, but its impact stayed back. It may also be a learned behavior: as a child you might have seen someone close reacting with fear while taking photo & you started responding the same way, which became intense as you grew up. At times the cause is not known. To reach the actual diagnosis, get yourself evaluated by a Psychiatrist, who will prescribe you medicines or advice you counseling sessions accordingly. Along with medicines, various behavior techniques & therapies are available to help you overcome this problem. Along with, put your effort to come out of this situation. You need to face your fear rather than avoiding it. Before facing the camera, go mentally prepared for it. Try to keep stay calm & relaxed. More you will face the camera, your confidence will grow more & you will become more determined to overcome the situation. After facing the camera, if you feel there is improvement in you, praise & encourage yourself. You are not alone in suffering from this type of problem. Many are suffering from this problem in different forms & many had also overcome it with proper therapy & self determination. So stay positive. Though facing camera make you uncomfortable, you are still managing to control your fears and carry on with daily activities. This is a good positive sign. There is solution to this problem & you can also come out of it.
