HAIR LOSS ??
DON'T IGNORE IT.

Use them and prevent hair fall.

1. Coconut

This ingredient has several benefits for your hair. Not only does it promote hair growth, but also conditions it. It has essential fats, minerals and proteins which reduce hair breakage and is also rich in potassium and iron. You can use coconut oil or milk to prevent hair fall.
Steps:
Warm a bit of coconut oil and massage it from your hair root to tip.
Wash after one hour.
Or, grate a coconut and squeeze out its milk by mixing in a little water.
Apply it on the area where you notice thinning or balding.
Let it stay overnight and wash off the next morning.

2. Onion juice

Onion is a rich source of sulphur which helps in hair growth by increasing collagen production. Using its juice on the scalp can help in controlling hair fall. Did you know these onion health benefits?
Steps:
Chop one onion finely and squeeze out its juice.
Apply the juice on your scalp and let it stay for 15 minutes.
Now rinse with a mild shampoo and let your hair air dry.
Use this twice a week to see results.

3. Garlic

Like onion, garlic too has high sulphur content. This is the reason why it is used in traditional hair regrowth medicines. You’d be surprised to know these beauty benefits of garlic.
Steps:
Crush a few cloves of garlic.
Add coconut oil to it and boil the mixture for a few minutes.
Let it cool down a bit and then massage it on your scalp.
You can leave it on for 30 minutes and then wash your hair.
Do this two times in a week.

4. Henna

It is mostly used as a natural hair colour or conditioner but henna has properties that can strengthen your hair from the root. If you combine it with other ingredients, it makes for a better hair pack.
Steps:
Take 250 ml of mustard oil in a tin can and add 60g of washed and dried henna leaves.
Now boil the mixture the leaves burn and then filter the oil.
Massage your scalp with it on a regular basis and store the rest in an airtight bottle.
You can make another henna pack by mixing dry henna powder with curd.
Apply it on scalp and hair and wash off after one hour.

5. Hibiscus

Also called shoe flower, hibiscus nourishes hair, prevents premature greying, treats dandruff and also controls hair fall.
Steps:
Crush a few flowers and mix sesame or coconut oil to make a paste.
Apply on the scalp and hair and leave it on for a few hours.
Rinse off with cold water using a mild shampoo.

6. Amla or Indian gooseberry

For people suffering from hair fall, amla or the Indian gooseberry is a blessing. It is packed with vitamin C and antioxidants that can reverse hair loss if it is in its initial stage.
Steps:
Use either amla juice or powder and mix it with lemon juice.
Apply it on the scalp and leave it to dry.
Rinse hair using lukewarm water.

7. Egg

Egg has several ingredients that can prevent or control hair fall. It is a rich source of sulphur and has phosphorous, selenium, iodine, zinc and protein. All these promote hair growth.
Steps:
Take the white of one egg and mix in a teaspoon of olive oil.
Beat to give a paste-like consistency and apply to the entire scalp and hair.
Keep it on for about 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse with cool water and a mild shampoo.

Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. aManagement: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month.

1. Include foods in your diet, which are replete in vitamins like Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin A and Vitamin C. Also incorporate proteins; eating the right foods can help you get the hair you always wanted. 2. Indulging yourself in regular exercises is also crucial in order to maintain good and healthy hair. 3. Using vitamin E capsules and hair revitalizers occasionally can enhance your hair growth. 4. Avoid using hair dryers as they may damage your hair if used from a close proximity.

Dear Lybrate user, do not take stress and do exercise daily. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. * Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin. * Avoid much salty foods, soft drinks, more tea, coffee, dry, maida related junk foods. *Wash or massage face with baking soda by mixing with little water. Do the same 2-3times/ week.

Whether it's due to age, illness, genes, stress or diet, you get gray hairs when the follicle stops adding color to the hair or when your body is short of the melanin pigment. While there are a few cosmetic and medicinal remedies for gray hair, you could try some potent natural remedies too. 1. Plain yogurt * mix one gram of black pepper or coffee powder with 100 grams of plain unsweetened yogurt and apply the mixture smoothly on your scalp and hair. Wash this off with tepid water and mild shampoo after an hour. Following this regimen once every week will provide results. While the curd will add shine to your hair and prevent dandruff, the black pepper will aid in making the hair black and coffee will retain your blond or brunette shade. Nails * according to indian herbalists and ayurveda specialists, rubbing nails together can be useful in gray hair treatment. In this remedy you have to fold your palms inwards, bring the two palms close and rub the nails on one hand with those on the other, in fast, recurring movements. This motion and nail rubbing will enhance blood circulation to the scalp and aid in making the hair roots stronger. This is turn helps retain blackness of hair. While this can be performed at any time, at any place, it takes only about half a year to enjoy the benefits. Bottle gourd and gooseberry * make a mixture of equal parts of bottle gourd juice and either sesame oil or olive oil. While this will help in the general well-being of your hair, making it long, lustrous and voluminous, the concoction will actually make your hair black and prevent graying. According to a popular, age-old, south indian folklore, indian herbalists of today's leading pharmaceutical companies still believe that a mixture of equal parts of indian gooseberry or amla and mango seed paste will provide the same benefit if kept on the scalp for half an hour and performed regularly. Tea leaves and henna * strain the water in which you have boiled tea leaves. Cool the fluid and add a couple of tea spoons full of salt to it. Apply this to the scalp and hair and keep for an hour before washing it off with regular water. Performed one time in 10 days will show remarkable results. A henna paste left undisturbed overnight in an iron vessel should be applied to the hair in a bun. You could also add pulp of the walnut in the morning. Let this mixture dry in your hair. Once it does, wash it off with some water for gray hair prevention. General measures * you should eat protein-rich foods like whole grains, soybeans, meat, fish and poultry. Vitamins a and b and minerals like iron and zinc are crucial in the prevention of graying hair. So have foods like cauliflower, cabbage, yogurt, liver kidney, beef, parsley and almonds, which will provide you necessary nutrients.
