Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise.

My son 11 years old is getting sudden bone pains at knee joint and palm joint for both hands and legs. He met with accident at his 6 years age. Two times local doctors consulted. They wrote some tests and gave medicines. When we used medicines, he was relieved from the pains. But the problem is not completely cured. The pains are coming now and then. Please suggest.

Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

according her age its arthritis .X-Ray must. tk calcium supplements . do hot fomentations. avoid toward bending lifting weight. long standing, long sitting, for spine do gently stretch ur back muscle. for knee ...put a towel roll under knee and press for 10 second then release repeat 10 time twice a day. if it work then OK otherwise physiotherapy treatment must.

Dear lybrateuser, - follow some tips to reduce pain: - wear shoe inserts for proper fitting of shoes - apply medicated bunion cap fro m chemist - take tablet brufen, 1 tab twice a day after meals - apply ice pack on it 2-3 times in a day - wear low heel shoe with wide toe area.

Peeth aut kamar ke dard ke liye ayuimein kaafi achhi medicines available hain. Agar aap long term treatment le to poori tarah se theek ho sakte ho. Sabse pahle aap niyam se aur back muscles ko majboot karne ke liye yoga aur exercise kare. Apna posture theek rakhein. Khatta aur thanda na khaaye. Medication. Dashmoolarishta kadha 2spoons two times with equal quantity of warm water. Mahayograaj guggul 2-2-2 mahavaatvidhvansa 2-2-2 for 3 months.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are many causes of pain in lower back region. It can be due to faulty posture, related to weak muscles, issues with intervertebral disc, narrowing of spinal canal, any bony instability besides many other, so accurate diagnosis is the key to proper management of the condition. If you have localized back pain of mild to moderate intensity and with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with conservative management for 2-3 weeks. Calf Tightness and Cramps

Tight calf muscles may be caused by a compartment syndrome. This is where the muscle becomes too big for the sheath surrounding the muscle causing pressure, sometimes pain and restricted movement. Biomechanical problems of the foot or from running style can increase the strain on the calf muscles.

It often occurs in the legs. A muscle cramp is also called a charley horse. Nighttime leg cramps are usually sudden spasms, or tightening, of muscles in the calf. The muscle cramps can sometimes happen in the thigh or the foot.

Overuse of a muscle, dehydration, muscle strain or simply holding a position for a prolonged period can cause a muscle cramp. In many cases, however, the cause isn't known. Although most muscle cramps are harmless, some may be related to an underlying medical condition, such as: inadequate blood supply.

1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Learn spinal exercises. 3. Use lumber spine belt. 4. Apply volini cream before sleeping. 5. Do Hot fermentation twice a day. 6. Don't sit on floor. 7. Don't do forward bending. 8. Don't lift heavy things. 9. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum

Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. As per your complain it seems there is sudden strain in your back muscles. Not to worry. Let me help you with some precautions and treatment that will help you to recover soon. Precautions: 1. Avoid forward bending, if required then bend your knees first and then bend forward. 2. Avoid weight lifting. 3. Sit in chairs or car seats with proper back support. 4. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your basck like sidelying. 5. Get enough vit d from sun as vit d keep bones strong including spine, 6. Drink plenty of water to enhance the inter vertebral disks 7. Avoid standing in the one position for a long time. 8. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your back. Physio care: I would recommend you for I-care treatment that is especially for back or neck pain. Rest required but it doesn't mean a complete bed rest. Do not over exert your body. Work take rest and then work so that you do not feel tired and started paining. Treatment- 1. Apply ice or heat which ever suits you directly to the area of low back pain will decrease swelling and inflammation, and ease your discomfort. Apply it for 10 to 15 minutes only. 2.Relaxing for 5 minutes after ice or heat treatment. Massage - Ask someone to massage your painful area using fingers or thumb. Massage using kneading technique. Slightly press the thumb and start rotating as it helps to induce relaxation, relieve pain, and reduce levels of stress chemicals, such as cortisol and noradrenaline. It will give you pain relief for time being. 3. After massage again relax for 5 min and apply any pain relieving ointment eg - volini or oraflame gel etc. Make sure not to do massage with the gel, it should not penetrate the body. Just a topical application of gel should be done. 4. Again relax your body for 5 minutes and perform some normal back extension and hamstring stretching exercises to get relief from your pain. While performing exercises if pain occurs then would recommend you to stop doing exercise. Massage or slightly rub the painful area and consult your near by physio to diagnose the actual cause of the pain as he/she can guide you proper exercise plan which will be beneficial for you after checking grade of your back pain.
