Because his request are completed by non verbal actions. You have to make him speak by ignoring his activities. Leaving him in children of similar age group will be useful. Correct his words & pronunciations when needed. Never imitate childs voice & words for joy.

First step is to get an ent checkup next to get a hearing test done and it is the audiologist who will try different hearing aida and then take your earcanal size and fit the hearing aids according to your response. Now if the dealers have employed an audiologist it may be a part of their business.

lybrate-user, that child , has severe hearing loss in both ears and could do very well with Cochlear Implants. However, this is an expensive procedure (about 12-15 lakhs) and even after the surgery, he will require at least 2 years of intensive speech therapy and special schooling before he is able to join a mainstream school.

Dear lybrate-user. You are neglecting the health of your child by wasting time here. Pus discharge with pain and cold n cough indicate acute otitis media secondary to urti. So pls take the child to nearest Ent immediately and take proper treatment because if the ear drum perforation becomes permanent then you won't be spared from cursing yourself for causing deafness to the child. Hope you understand the situation.
