Over the years, diabetes has emerged as one of the fatal diseases, one that once developed has no known cure. This condition is preceded by various perceptible symptoms, some of them are

  1. Insatiable thirst: The onset of diabetes is almost always accompanied by a nagging thirst, one that refuses to be quenched despite drinking plenty of water.
  2. Frequent tendencies of urination: A frequent tendency of urination is one of the primary precursors of diabetes.
  3. Acute hunger: Having bouts of acute hunger is one of the most predominant premonitions of diabetes.
  4. Exhaustion and fatigue: In case you are suffering from diabetes, you will inevitably feel tired and exhausted all the time.
  5. Blurring of vision: Diabetes is one of those rare conditions that threaten to affect and damage the eyesight. The blurring of vision comes hand in hand with the onset of diabetes.
  6. Sores which take a long time to heal: One of the most fatal symptoms of diabetes is when the sore that you have suffered from takes a longer time than necessary to heal.

Some of the complications which diabetes invite are:

  1. Cardiovascular problems: Diabetes considerably increases the risk of a host of cardiovascular problems and ailments like heart attacks, chest pain, and stroke.

It can complicate the pregnancy to some extent. But not much if it kept under control. Please consult a proper homeopathic doctor for this. I would suggest you to go for at least one consultation. Either with me or some other doctor whom you trust. That will be better for you. Still if you have any queries, please feel free to ask me. Take care :)

Do sugary soft drinks lead to diabetes and I have stomach pain week in three time?

Do sugary soft drinks lead to diabetes and I have stomach pain week in three time?
It does not cause diabetes unless you have risk factors like obesity, hereditary tendency etc. It is better to minimise sugar consumption in any form since it can add on to calorie causing overweight and related complications.

Herbal tea with ginger is beneficial for thyroid functioning. In fact, beverages including coffee, tea, carbonated drinks and alcohols should be avoided by patients afflicted with thyroid disorders. In its place herbal tea may be an alternative option. Application of watercress's paste on the enlarged neck is also an effective remedy.

Why are my feet burning all the time.
My reports are S.Uric acid 6.0
Blood sugar 87
s.cholesterol 169.
Hi, all these reports are normal. Burning feet syndrome can be inherited, or it can be caused by pressure being put on the nerves. Links also exist between this syndrome and diseases such as hypothyroidism, diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis; links are also believed to exist between this syndrome and vitamin b (specifically pantothenic acid) deficiencies and renal failure. Another cause could be plantar fasciitis which is an inflammation (irritation and swelling with presence of extra immune cells) of the thick tissue on the bottom of the foot that causes heel pain and disability. Medication: need to find out the cause of burning. Meantime, take becosule (b-complex)/ 1 cap. Once daily for 3 months only. Revert.

First Question: Honey contains sugar. Therefore drinking water with honey in the morning, adds up to the body's sugar level. It may not be good for health and more so for diabetic persons. Hyperuricemia is due to defective metabolism of purines, a compound found in animal proteins (red meat), some fishes and yeasty foods like bakery items. Other than that food like mushroom, rajma, peas, oats and cauliflower needs to be avoided.

HOW CAN I MANAGE MY diabetes ON TESTING MY HbA1C IS 6.8/PL advise PRECAUTIONS AND DIET VIJAY AHUJA.
Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. With HbA1c% 6.8, your diabetes seems to be well controlled. So whatever is being done now seems to be working well. Following things need to be followed: 1) Restricted diet, that provides exact calories based on your ideal body weight, extent of daily exercise and blood glucose levels. 2) Avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, bakery items and food s made out of maida, colas and fructose corn syrup containing products. 3) Consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and permitted fruits (100 g a day). 4) Exercise for 1 hour every day and strive to maintain near normal weight. 5) Refrain from alcohol and smoking. To give exact diet plan I need to know all the details like present glucose levels, dietary pattern extent of physical activity and the drugs being taken with dosage. Thanks.
