Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicine berberis aquifolium 30 (4 drops in little amount of water) thrice a day for a week and revert. Follow the tips *clean your skin gently with a mild face wash removing all dirt or make-up. Wash many times a day with plain water. *get an adequate amount of sleep. *avoid touching your face with your hands or try to squeeze pimples, it may leave permanent scars and spread the infection. *ensure that you drink10-12 glasses of water daily. *avoid fried and spicy food. *include fruits, raw vegetables and fresh vegetable juices in your diet.

Hello, The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on these points which helps in right way without harming your body if you don’t have any medical condition. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos., both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 1month.

Chronic Shoulder & Neck Pain - Ways It Can Be Diagnosed!

The neck and shoulder have a huge range of movement and thus they are more prone to injury. The ball and socket joint at the upper arm is the shoulder and both the neck and the shoulder are made up of soft tissues, muscles and ligaments.

Reasons behind pain Injured rotator cuffs: 

Rotator cuffs are the tendons supporting the shoulder. If they are injured it might lead to a chronic loss of the range of movement. This is more commonly known as a frozen shoulder. 

  1. Dislocation: Dislocated disc of the neck or shoulder due to an accident would cause severe pain in the affected area. 
  2. Fractures: Fractured collarbone or the upper arm bone may result in chronic pain. 
  3. Tendonitis: This occurs due to the over usage of the arms or neck or strains due to over exertion like in sports. 
  4. An unstable shoulder joint: If there is instability in the ball and socket joint of the upper arm, chances of having a chronic pain is high. Others: Degenerative arthritis, herniated disc, and even heart attacks can be the other possible causes of chronic neck and shoulder pain. 

When to go to the doctor? 

When the patient experiences a pain due to a severe blow or injury, the neck pain radiates down the legs and arms, a feeling of numbness and tingling sensation, or has a stiff neck with fever or vomiting, it is essential to seek the advice of a Doctor. 

Diagnosis for shoulder and neck pain X-ray: 

The main form of diagnosing a pain is an x-ray. It helps to reveal diseases from arthritis, tumour, slipped disc, narrowing spinal cord, fractures and spinal cord instability. 

  1. MRI: Magnetic Resonance Imaging or simply the MRI reveals the detail of nerve-related issues along with the problems in the ligaments and tendons. 
  2. CT scan: There may be instances when the injuries are difficult to be diagnosed. And, in the case of a fracture, a CT Scan is advised for more details. It is also an alternative to MRI. 
  3. ECG: An Electrocardiogram is a way of diagnosis if shoulder and neck pain continues along with chest pain or shortness of breath. If there is a risk of an individual having a heart attack, then an ECG is recommended. 
  4. Electro Diagnosis: Electromyography referred to as EMG and Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) are used to diagnose pain in the arm, neck, shoulder followed by a numb feeling on the affected areas. 

Treatment for chronic shoulder and neck pain 
A simple sprain on the neck and shoulder would demand a rest for a few days along with pain medication. If the pain is due to muscle spasms application of dry or moist heat may provide relief. In the case of a swelling due to injuries, a cold ice pack 4 to 8 times a day will provide immense relief. Patients might be advised a cast or sling for the shoulder pain. The soft tissues in the neck and shoulder can be treated with pain relievers taken for a few days. Muscle relaxants are also prescribed depending on the severity of the pain. Local corticosteroid injections are helpful for shoulder arthritis. Platelet rich plasma injection is another modern treatment for arthritis or tendinopathy. In some situation, radio frequency procedures are very helpful. Exercises are very effective for both neck and shoulder pain movement. Surgery might be an option if nerve roots are affected.

Hello lybrate-user, I would recommend you tomato pulp and cucumber for pimples spot. They have natural bleaching agents. And tomato is rich in vitamin A and put some lemon juice to in it. Lemon is rich in vitamin c. Use instruction: Take a tomato pulp and cucumber and some drops of lemon juice, mix it well. Apply on your face areas, wait for 30 minutes and wash off with water. Hey I am 19 years old ! I was being prescribed to use sunscreen of spf-30 so I want to ask if I use spf-50 instead of spf-30 , is this gonna be good for my skin ? Spf-50 will provide more protection than spf-30 right ? So should I go for spf-50 ?

Spf 50 does provide more protection. If you go out too much in sun than you should definitely use spf 50.

My son is very nervous type. During his first admission to school, he used to become soft prey for bullying. Gradually days passed. Now after doing post graduation, recently he joined a private bank. Now again I find, he becomes nervous whenever his collegues pointing out the negative aspects of sevice like losing job for proper reason my question is how he can get rid of these nervousness. I am scary because he has to take so many challenges in life as he is aiming for higher position too.

Since you are the parent you will know if there is any genetic or family trait prevailing in your clan. If so, he will need to factor that in and know that he is merely projecting that innate trait. Apart from that he may have a nervous disposition due to parental strictness at home, or particularly with him. If he has always been a weak child, he could fear others from the size aspect of this. Also you could take him to a counselor and that person will be able to not only explore the causes but will also be able to help him get out of this problem. They can find out if he is under any kind of chronic stress as well. In the meantime let him go a gym and do some bodybuilding exercises. He will develop a good self-image and body-image if he develops some physical strength. You need to give him a good diet of high fiber foods and a good mix of fruits and vegetables. He has to learn about emotions and how to deal with them, particularly fear. Let him attend a personality development course, join groups, conferences, meetings, workshops, and seminars. He can take a multivitamin and multi-mineral along with calcium, regularly. I hope he has no sleep problem because that could make it more difficult for him. If he loses a job, he may definitely want to do something. So do not panic for him and increase his discomfort. Let him face the world but be there to help him resolve these issues over time and with some therapy.

Avoid or at least reduce it. Things like preservatives, color enhancers, ajeno moto, mozerella, maida (fine flour), chemicals are used abundantly. It will cause nutrients depletion and cause digestive weakness.

Glow on the face depends mainly on the metabolism, environment, stress level, nature of work and amount of sleep. Improve the digestive capacity with healthy, natural, easily digestible food, avoid junks. Environment should be a healthy one, reduce the stress level at work an in the mind also, have a sound and enough quantity of sleep. You can apply the cream like kumkumadi lepa twice on face to increase the glow. Keep yourself well hydrate with enough amount of liquids.

I am not having milk I am giving him formula but fr the past 1 week he is not drinking it He is now 4 months can I give him cerelac and biscuit.

Your 4 months baby is on formula feeds. It means extra load to his kidneys. Wheat preparations such as cerelac and biscuits would sure to add the further solute loads to his tender kidneys. If she misses her period for more than 7 days, go for urine pregnancy test first. There is a slim chance of pregnancy, particularly if the condom was not used throughout or it was damaged.
