You should make up your Ca with dairy products preferably Yoghurt; and if you are not Anemic then do not take iron supplements for months together ;Take Iron-rich diet like if you are Non-veg. Take white meat ,green vegetables. Colored fruits; eggs,legumes and pulses; take direct sugar in moderation; the food should be prepared in low fat peferably rice-bran oil, Try to take most of food boiled or steamed, not fried or deep fried ;Do BRISK walk for 30-40 mts a day continuous or divided in morning-evening ;Always take food items with low glycemic-index (Void direct sugar, very sweet fruits, sweet potato; Re-adjust your dose of Thyronrom according to the latest TSH level may be you are taking a low dose of thyronorm

Dear, for proper growth of body follow these simple and very important tips: * take a diet rich with proteins carbs, vitamins and fats. In morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. In lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. In evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with fruits. In night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. * in morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. * for proper fitness, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. * avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. * do meditation daily to calm down your stress level. Do pranayam daily. You can take long and deep breaths atleast for 10 minutes in calm and peaceful environment. * avoid smoking & alcohol drinking completly.

Tips to lose weight  faster: 1. Eat a high-protein breakfast. 2Avoid sugary drinks and fruit juice.  3. Drink water a half hour before meals. 4. Choose weight loss-friendly foods (more vegetables and fruits) 5. Eat soluble fiber. 6. Eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods.  7. Eat your food slowly. 8. Sleep 7-8 hours 9. Go for regular exercise

I am a juvenile diabetic for the past 23 years on human mixtard insulin since then. For the 4 years I am going into low sugar between 4.30 - 5.30 am sometimes in a coma. I have tried regulating intake of insulin but no significant results. Pls advise.

At this age height increment is not possible.But you can increase your weight by balanced diet.Eat food more frequently with extra amount.Use whole cream milk or milk shake.Use weight gainer supplement.Include more dense vegetables and fruits.Take banana 3-4pcs/day.Take yogurt everyday.Add ghee,butter,cheese,cream,jam,jelly with food.Add extra healthy fat.Eat more protein rich foods like fish like tuna and other fish,egg,lean meat,soy milk,soy product,mushroom,almond,walnut,peanut,flax seed,sunflower seed.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Proper sleep and regular exercise for be fit and healthy.

Aspire to be fit and smart and slim. Aim for long term weight loss @ 2-3 Kg per month = 12-18 kgs in 6 months. Add 2-3 Fruits to your daily diet. Double your water intake. Cut down Sweets/Biscuits/ Colas/Juices from your diet. Completely eliminate Puris/Parathas/Pizzas/Burgers/Fried Rice/Biryani etc. Eat slowly and mindfully. Reduce portion size. Exercise daily - 'Intense' Cardio for 40-60 mins. This will keep you toned and trim. Love yourself and respect your body.

this is doubtful. you should do some research ..just record sugar levels without honey and after taking honey. and decide yourself.

Dear patient, I suggest you some natural antioxidant with Vitamin C combined diet like.. green tea with lemon juice , Sprouts with slice of ginger and lemon, Lemon juice with lukewarm water that will help you weight reduction and protection from skin damage. But green tea and lemon water not to take at empty stomach. Avoid oily food, spicy foods,jam jelly,ghee, honey, salt, sweets, fried foods, junk foods. Green vegetables, fresh fruits, Skin less fish, chicken add in your diet chart. Do not be at fasting more than 3 hours take low amount of food at regular interval.Do brisk walk for 45 min in a day at any time. Thanks..
