My wife has sprained her left ankle. She is advised to wear ankle cap, some medicines. Her wt. Is82kgs. She is a working teacher.

She has to do active ankle movements (pedaling like a tailor, keep the foot up on a chair or stool whenever possible to reduce swelling and icing whenever there is a pain (approx. 10 min for every 2hrs). Hope she would get alright. Regards Dr. Dinesh.

I am 22 years old, female. I have had a lump in my right armpit for over 6 years now. It is not usually painful. Although it sometimes does usually before my periods start. I have also had cervical spondylitis. Wanted to know if it was anything to worry about.

You are too young to suffer from cervical spondylosis. This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. I would like to examine & investigate you in detail. Rule out Hypertension, Diabetes or other metabolic disorder. Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac 100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. (You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Avoid direct flow of AC or Cooler. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for Neck & shoulders.--A biopsy must be done on the lump in your arm pit. Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. Do ask for a detailed treatment plan. If no relief in 2-3 days, contact me again (through this platform) Kindly make sure, there is no allergy to any of these medicines. Hi, By curing the spasticity in your foot, your toes will finally relax – permanently. And the only way to cure spasticity is to retrain your brain to control the spastic muscles. This can be achieved through repetitious rehab exercises. Eg toe taps exercise prescription, floor grips etc etc. For free rehab exercise guides  get a text, audio or video consultation. Regards.

Do knee strengthening exercises; there is a proper exercise program for it so consult a good physio either consult us through lybrate and we will send you proper exercise program and also send us reports of your injury. Don't wait it is not good to have pain and may cause oa knee and continuous pain in knee.

I have so much back pain and rib pain it is some times shift towards neck I am consult so many doctors but no use and also use Ayurveda medicine but no relief, I can't do any work now what I will do.

Avoid long sitting and toward bending take physiotherapy treatment swd tens or ultrasonic therapy avoid computer work.

Avoid exercising the muscles around the hernia. For instance, if you have an abdominal hernia, don't do crunches. This could make your hernia worse or even cause more hernias to break through the tissue. Exerting and straining yourself to lift heavy weights should be completely avoided. Avoid exercise that stretches or pulls abdominal muscles for at least two weeks, then begin with light resistance training. You can resume core strength training after about four weeks.

Daflon 1000 mg Tablet is a flavonoid semi synthetic drug that is used in the treatment of blood vessel disorders like venous stasis, varicose veins, lymphedema, etc. Additionally, it helps to control and treat internal hemorrhoids and excessive thinning of the blood. It has several ways that it affects the body. It helps in the vasoconstriction of vein walls by extending the effect of norepinephrine on these walls. This helps in improving circulation through veins. Daflon 1000 mg Tablet also has a similar effect on the lymph vessels thus improving lymphatic drainage as well. Additionally, by reducing prostaglandin levels in the body it helps in bringing down inflammation.

Hello lybrate-user, generally shoulder pain is secondary to some muscle spasm or a ligament sprain of associated with history of trauma. I would recommend shoulder range of motion exercises and pendulum exercises along with hot pack fomentation. Thank you.
