What is the reason for weak urine flow? And what is the remedy? I had consulted a specialist who suggested surgery. Is it really required or is there any alternative? If surgery is inevitable how long would I have to be as in patient and how long would it take to resume normal life?

If you have been advised surgery then doctor may be suspecting some obstruction or narrow urinary passage. You can resume all routine activities within a few days.

2-3 mm stones can be expelled through lot of intake of water and some herbal diuretics. The situation of stones in upper or lower calyx also makes difference. Herbals help in disintegrating and dissolving renal stones. However herbal medicines do not cause potassium loss unlike by allopathic diuretics.

Although it is a normal process but we all should get our routine blood tests every 6 months so that if any problem,it can be treated in initial stages itself. So my advise for you is to go for blood RFT if you want to know that your kidneys are functioning normally.

Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this - 1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor[urologist] and to confirm do few investigations like this (Urine RE/ME/CULTURE & cystoscope) and take correct medication as per the report. 2) Do check your fasting blood sugar on tomorrow and if it is high then discuss with your Doctor to adjust medications and without medication adjustment infection will not be controlled. Do follow lifestyle modifications like this - 1) Eat healthy foods. Choose foods lower in fat and calories and higher in fiber. Focus on fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Discuss with your dietitian to make a chart. 2) Get more physical activity. Aim for 30 minutes of moderate physical activity a day. Take a brisk daily walk. Ride your bike. Swim laps. If you can't fit in a long workout, break it up into smaller sessions spread throughout the day. 3) Try to lose the excess weights. If you're overweight, losing even 7 percent of your body weight can reduce the risk of diabetes complications. To keep your weight in a healthy range, focus on permanent changes to your eating, and exercise habits. Hope that helps.
