I have stomach ache on the left side of my stomach just below the ribs. This pain increases when I take caffeinated drinks and allopathy medicines. I have consulted many doctors all they do it to give me medicines which in turn increases the pain. What should I do.

Hello My hairs are getting thin day by day. Mainly from the middle (sides and back have thick amount. Crown starting to go bald. I have maintained a good daily routine with good diet. I go to gym daily, take good amount of protein, take green vegetables salad, around 6-7 litres of water, no spicy food, tea intake 2 times a day, Fish oil capsules for omega. Multivitamin, Biotin No smoking and drinking habit I go the gym in the evening. Since I sweat a lot, I take a good bath before bed Daily, during bed time, I massage my hairs with different oils like coconut. Rosemary, Bhringraj, olive, castor and wash my hair with Patanjali shampoo. I don't know, what I am lacking. Why I can't see growth or why hair is falling Please suggest.

Hair growth is genetic. If you are suffering from hair fall, this could be due to your genes. But you can always control hair fall at home. After gym, wash your hair with mild shampoo. Sweating closes the pores in skin and head along with dirt. Hair fall is one of the results of it. 1.Use amla (gooseberry) juice on scalp and also to drink. 2.Mix curry leaves with coconut oil and heat up and let it cool. Wheat Germ oil to massage your head at night. You can also put some fenugreek powder in the oil, heat the oil a bit and apply it on scalp for hairfall, whitening and dandruff. 3.Apply hair packs like Egg with Yogurt, Banana. 4.Have lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits rich in Vitamin C. 5.Protein is the most important element for maintaining hair health. Make sure your diet in protein rich sources like eggs, fish, chicken, soyabean, sprouts, pulses and grains 6.Zinc, iron & copper promote healthy hair. Some sources of this are – eggs, whole grains, all types of seeds like flaxseed, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, Dry fruits and nuts etc.

teeth pain can be due to decay or fractured teeth, gum infection or sensitivity. get your teeth x-rayed n go for needful treatment. for decay, you might require rct n cap or removal n replacement by implants or bridge. for gum infection, go for scaling and polishing of teeth. for sensitivity, use desensitizing toothpaste twice daily.

Losing weight suddenly will only cause increase in wt later. You have to make effort to lose wt gradually over a period of time. Loosing a job could be stressful. You are young and still in the beginning of your career. I am sure you will find another and perhaps more appropriate work. Feeling low when we loose something is a normal process. That is how we heal our self. At the same time life is full of stress. And it is very helpful for long run to develop resilience, which not only help you cop with tough situation but also help you think and act calmly and maturely and save you from some troubles. Please try following - it will surely help you in a long run. If you have something very specific and you need to talk then you may call me. Chronic stress is a side product of our life style these days. Try following things to learn relaxation response which leads to better coping mechanism on a daily basis. To begin with doing guided progressive muscular relaxation before sleeping will help you relax. You could google and download an audio file. I would also suggest you to take a multiple small break to take 3 nice and deep breath while keeping your eyes closed. You could do this while sitting or standing or while even walking or climbing stairs (keep your eyes open in that case). When you take a nice and deep break there is actual physiological change in your body. This will help you to activate parasympathetic nervous system which promotes relaxation and helps you calm down and think more clearly. This will also actually improve your performance in your work. Along with this exercise is one of the best way to relieve stress and stay fit. Engage in any kind of physical activity at least 4 times a week. This also helps in stress reduction. Along with this some relaxation exercises as well as engaging in joyful activities such as music, singing, dancing, reading, being in nature, gardening, talking with friends or anything which you enjoy will help reducing stress and rejuvenation of your mind and body. Have good routine for sleep and eating. Lot of research has now proven that sugar is very harmful for our health. Reduce sugar and refined white flour in your diet as much as you could. Along with this also increase consumption of raw vegetables in the form of salad in both the meals of your day. Hope this helps wishing you very best.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. The duty of the mind is to think. Once you sit at homemand do nothing and let the mind free, naturally it will wander around negative territories. Therefore, I suggest not to sit idle. Engage in education, physicalmactiv7ties, oitdoor and indoor games, entertainment, socialization etc. Creative and busy mind do not wander into negative territory. Take care.

Following a scratch from a pet dog in late april, I decided to go for a rabies booster dose (2 doses) since I had already taken the full course last year. Around 12 days after the rabies booster (on tuesday 5th may), I had a full-on tonic clonic seizure in my sleep (around 12.30 am). The convulsion lasted for around 3-5 mins and I ended up biting my tongue badly. I have no personal or family history of seizures (febrile or otherwise) and this was the first time ever. 15-30 mins (not sure) before the seizure occurred I remember smelling burning garbage/burnt rubber. The next morning, I rushed to the local neurologist who asked me to get an mri/mrv + eeg + lots of bloodwork done. The mri/venal mri was normal, so were the eeg and the blood-tests. The neurologist diagnosed it as late onset seizure disorder and asked me to start with keppra 750 mg twice a day. The same evening I went to another neuro for the eeg and looking at my reports and history, he advised me not to start with the medicine and wait for another seizure before starting the aeds. Also neurologist no. 1 noted that the only real insult was the rabies booster shot and was concerned about the possibility of adem. But since the mri was ok he let it go. Now its been 7 days since the seizure. I have balance issues, limb weakness, difficulty remembering stuff and since yesterday I have extremely itchy palms (with small red spots) and itchy eyes. Its so bad, I was unable to sleep at all last night. Also both my hands and legs (esp my legs) keep falling asleep even when I am sitting normally and I keep getting that pins and needles sensation. My query is this: 1. Is there a possibility of developing adem or any other form of vaccine related encephalitis in the days or weeks ahead? 2. The itchy palms and eyes are a common vaccine adverse effect. Should I be concerned about that? 3. There are more than a few cases of otherwise healthy individuals having seizures/convulsions after taking nootropic vaccines like anti-rabies, japanese encephalitis, tbe etc. Http://www. Is there a way to treat the condition (with steroids etc) and/or prevent it from recurring? please do let me know.

Can you consider to have ayurveda opinon beside your city at ayurveda college where you may suggested for rutu shudhi seasonal detox n rasayan therapy for your issues which is said? pittaj apasmar in ayurveda terms. Prognosis is good still your Dr. Will share you to alert while driving n swiming of at operating machines.

I am suffering from depression as I have been into a relationship for 5 years and broke up with that guy because of which I am unable to concentrate on my studies and carrier.

First of all I'd like to tell you that try to accept the change in life. Accept that past is past and you have to move on. You have to convert the pain, stress and frustration into positive things. Try to find motivation to move up in all what happened to you after break up. It's common to have aggravated depressive and anxiety symptoms after break up but in most individuals these don't last more than 6 months. These symptoms of adjustment disorder usually remit by own. The poor memory, stress and anger are due to lack of focus. To come out of these symptoms stay outdoors as much as possible. This will help you to distract yourself from past. Try to find a new hobby and if possible learn it or complete it. Reading, completing a new course, gym etc are options. Try to find interests in these things. If symptoms are severe and persist then visit a psychiatrist for help. Medicines like SSRIs can help to reduce the depression. Fluoxetine or Escitalopram can be used for short time and will help you to come out of depression. These are safe medicines and can be used without any worries.

Sugarless Foods: Are They Really?

Are the foods marketed actually sugar free? Does no added sugar mean that it is zero calorie? Have you ever thought if some ingredient is missing, some component needs to be substituted in its place? These are some of the few questions that needs to be answered before you jump onto buy the sugarless stuffs.

  1. Check for the ingredients added in the foodstuff like sucralose, high fructose corn syrup,molasses etc. These are the  other names given to sugar to misguide the customer.
  2. Watch out if the base raw material itself is high in sugar like refined flour/maida, dryfruits like figs/anjeer, dates. Though dry fruits are definetely a better substitute to sugars, but cannot be categorised as sugarless.
  3. Check for the addition of fats and oils like refined fat/ hydrogenated fat. Though this may not affect the sugars immediately but definetely harmful if you have high cholesterol levels.

So, next time just donot bounce on the sugarless foods but do a mindful eating with regards to how much you are eating.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2.take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3.triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4.amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating. When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts.
