Get Mesotherapy For Beautiful Hair and Skin!

Get Mesotherapy For Beautiful Hair and Skin!

In today’s world, we need not depend only on our genes to be beautiful; thanks to the latest cosmetic procedures. One of them is mesotherapy. It is a non-surgical, cosmetic medicine treatment that was developed in France in 1952.

How it works:
This technique uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, minerals, plant extracts and hormones. It works on the mesoderm that is the layer of fat and tissue underneath the skin for dealing with problems such ascellulite, excess weight, face or neck rejuvenation and body contouring.

For Hair:
Mesotherapy treats hair loss and helps hair growth as it deals with the scalp and hair follicles.Male and female pattern baldness, patchy hair loss and hair loss from stress can be treated through mesotherapy. In “Non-needle mesotherapy”, which uses the principle of eletroporation, pores of the skin are opened using a heating system and injections are given. Then the pores are closed after cooling. In another process, the vitamins, minerals and minoxidil are injected into the mesoderm of the thinning area of the scalp at every 1 cm distance. The hair follicles then absorb the maximum nutrients, which trigger the growth of hair.It also ensures thatthe scalp has a good amount of amino acids and boosts keratin production.

For Skin:
Mesotherapy helps in achieving younger, brighter and smoother skin. The injections of Hyaluronic acid into the epidermis and mesodermmake the skin look hydrated, glowing, radiant and firmer by boosting cell activity and stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. It hence nourishes and rejuvenates the skin. This improves the skin’s complexion, prevents wrinkles and revives dull, tired looking skin and improves tone and elasticity of the sagging skin in the neck area and on the hands. During the treatment, one should avoid alcohol and follow a low fat diet, while drinking lots of water to help eliminate toxins. After the treatment, the skin should not be exposed to the sun.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Mesotherapy:
The reason for the popularity of mesotherapy is its many advantages. This therapy is safe because it minimizes side-effects such as allergies or drug interaction. Anesthesia that can create complications is not used in this therapy. It ensures quick recovery for all hair and skin problems. Lastly, it is the least painful of all the therapies out there, although it is a little bit uncomfortable due to pinches on the scalp. There are disadvantages as well. This therapy may create some complications to patients who are pregnant or breast-feeding.

One should go to an experienced and skilled doctor for this treatment as if not properly performed it can cause severe skin damage. The treatment is given once a week at first, and after some time it is given once a month. Generally, it is a four-six month course of treatment. Results can only be observed after the treatment is complete. Hence, it should not be stopped in the middle otherwise the desired results will not be achieved. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Skin Care Myths - Know The Most Common Ones!

Skin Care Myths - Know The Most Common Ones!

Skin is the body's most expansive organ, but a few people know how to take care of their skin properly. Between media hype and amateur beauty tips, it is hard to differentiate between myths and reality. For example, should you splurge on an expensive moisturizer or not? Here's the truth behind three common beauty myths

  1. You need sunscreen only when you're outdoors on a sunny day: Sunscreen should be applied everyday whether you're indoors or outdoors. It is a misconception that we are safe from the sun's UV rays when we're indoors. However, UV rays are of two types. While the UVB rays that causes sunburn are blocked by walls, we are still vulnerable to the UVA rays indoors. UVA rays are responsible for skin ageing and skin cancer. Similarly, on cloudy days, we are safe from UVB rays but still need protection from UVA rays. Ideally, your sunscreen should have a minimum SPF of 20-30. If you don't like applying makeup over sunscreen, pick makeup products that are enriched with SPF. You need to moisturize and tone your skin everyday.
  2. No two people have the same skin requirements: While it may work for a person with dry skin to moisturize their skin every day, this may be detrimental for someone with oily skin. If you have oily skin, look for a lotion instead of creams, but if your skin is dry, you definitely need a cream based moisturizer. Similarly, a toner is great for oily skin but can disturb the PH balance of dry skin. Also take a look at the climate before you moisturize your skin. Moisturizing your face regularly in a humid area can lead to breakouts, while using a toner in dry weather can make the skin rough.
  3. Makeup causes acne: Makeup aficionados can breathe a sigh of relief; wearing makeup for extended durations does not lead to acne. The way you use your makeup and the type of product you use are the villains here. Contrary to popular belief, foundation is designed not to be absorbed into skin pores but to form a layer over the skin. Using expired products is also one of the main causes of acne. The other reason makeup is thought to trigger acne is because, if you go to sleep with makeup on, you may wake up with a breakout. This is because not washing your face, clogs your skin pores with the day's grime and dirt. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Dermatologist.

Greetings! Any treatment in alopecia areata aims at stimulating the growth of hair follicles. 8X shampoo is useful in case of dandruff not for hair growth. Try using shampoos which can stimulate hair growth like Trigaine caffeine or Anaphase. However these shampoos are not meant to be washed off like normal shampoos. They have to be kept on scalp for about 3- 5 min and then washed off so that their ingredients effectively penetrate the scalp.

Skin Care For Winter

Skin Care For Winter

Do you get dry and itchy skin, chapped lips, dry hands and cracked heels in winters? if yes! read this write-up that would guide you on how to take care of your dry, itchy skin from head to toe in the cold and dry winters, or otherwise. Cold weather along with low humidity strips your skin of its natural moisturizing factors. This might bring a sigh of relief in those with oily skin but indeed is a lot more challenging for dry or combination skin types.

Hair gets dry and fizzy in winters because of cold temperatures and lack of moisture; so cover your head when you move out and oil and condition your hair more frequently.

Face encounters the maximum wrath of cold weather, due to inability to protect itself from cold temperature and winds. The key is to use a soap-free non-foaming mild cleanser that does not strip natural oils from your skin and cover your face when you step out in cold and windy weather. Prefer a thick moisturizing cream if your skin is parched but use thinner creams or lotion for slightly dry skin.

Dry and chapped lips are common in winters and need a constant supply of moisturizer to regain their suppleness. So, always carry a lip balm with you, apply it each time you feel a stretch on your lips rather than licking them with saliva or removing the flakes.

The skin on the body gets drier in winters because of weather and wrong skin care. However tempting it might feel to dip into a hot bathtub or steam shower, please avoid it because the hot water sucks all the natural oil from your skin. Use lukewarm water and keep the bath time short. Slather oil (coconut or sunflower or sesame) or body lotion immediately after drying to trap the moisture.

Hello lybrate-user. Start using mild non foaming cleanser like Cetaphil twice a day for cleaning your face followed by a good moisturiser to keep your skin soft and supple. The motto in winter is to moisturise, moisturise, moisturise!
