Innitially apply ice and crepe bandage to affected knee. You will require static quadriceps and hamstring exercises. If no relief in 3 weeks and pain continues or you r not comfortable with your knee, you will require to get mri of the affected knee.

BHMS
Homeopath,
I think you are suffering from osteo-arthritis. Which causes caries of bones. Synovial fluid dried. And inter articular joint space diminished that's why the tick sound. Cartilage also damaged. You need to take homoeopathic medicine. It's a chronic trtmnt you have to take it for 6 months-1 years atlst. In 2-3 months you will feel better than before. And continued the trtmnt. You will b able to walk normally.

Dear, low back pain are often referred for physical therapy for four weeks as an initial conservative (nonsurgical) treatment option before considering other more aggressive treatments, including back surgery. The goals of physical therapy are to decrease back pain, increase function, and teach the patient a maintenance program to prevent future back problems. Common forms of physical therapy include: 1.Passive physical therapy (modalities), which includes things done to the patient, such as heat application, ice packs and electrical stimulation. For example, a heating pad may be applied to warm up the muscles prior to doing exercising and stretching, and an ice pack may be used afterward to sooth the muscles and soft tissues. OSee Physical Therapy: Passive PT (Modalities) for Back Pain 2.Active physical therapy, which focuses on specific exercises and stretching. For most low back pain treatments, active exercise is the focus of the physical therapy program. This article focuses on active physical therapy and exercise as a means to help recover from back problems and prevent or minimize future flare-ups of low back pain Low back pain has lasted between two and six weeks, or if there are frequent recurrences of low back pain, physical therapy is often recommended. I have pain and swelling in left leg that had a fracture 2 months back. What should I do.

MBBS, MS - Orthopaedics, M.Ch - Orthopaedics
Orthopedist, Chennai
Some swelling and pain is expected up to 3 months after a fracture as the fracture is still in healing stage. If the pain has gradually been decreasing over the months, it is probably normal. However if it is a recent onset pain or it has suddenly increased, then it may be a more serious problem and you should visit your orthopedist for an expert opinion.

4 months before while I was running right leg sole got a pain suddenly. Initially 1 week I had difficulty in walking but then walking was ok. My problem is pain still continues. What may be the reason.

dear lybrate user its l pertinent to mention, without making any realistic diagnostic modalities like mri scan of foot,no one can confirm its absolutely any condition, whatever and who so ever stated.you can provisionally make a gross mapping there too. intially start with some rest and mediccal management as advise by someone,if not helped then proceed with proper investigation like mri -to ruled out any tear or injury to ligament or muscle or any cartilage etc just going with common saying in such chronic cases may debilited your performance

Hello Mr. lybrate-user Knee pain in age 85 years is usually due to osteoarthritis knee. This leads to inflammation in knee and resulting stiffness in knee. Get a x-ray knee-AP/Lateral in standing position. We need to see your investigations and discuss your problem in detail. I can't write medicines here without proper diagnosis. Kindly consult me in private for complete treatment. Thank u.
