I have a gas stick problem. Which type of food I prefer and tell about medicine for this!
Dear, *Consult to get history to know exact cause of your gastric and prescribe you better. *Eat more fresh organic fruits and vegetables which are rich in antioxidants. They support the body to resist and heal diseases and infection. They are also high in fiber and help in recovering from stomach ulcers and also prevent the occurrence of one. *Rice is the only grain that does not induce gas production. But if you are experiencing bloating and gas pain, its better to replace your grains with brown rice, basmati rice or wild rice. *Avoid eating before going to bed. Eating before bed time can cause secretion of gastric acid during the night. If too many problems occur due to acidity during the night, its best to elevate the head of your bed 6 to 8 inches. *Don’t smoke a cigarette after meals. If you are a alcoholic stop drinking beer. Even if you take other beverages, don’t take with soda.

Hi , Mera pet me bahut gas hota hai iska solution kya hai jis se mera pet me gas nahi bane.
Dear, Gas in the digestive tract is usually caused by swallowing air and by the breakdown of certain foods in the large intestine by bacteria. Everyone swallows a small amount of air when eating and drinking. The amount of air swallowed increases when people eat or drink too fast, smoke, chew gum, suck on hard candy, drink carbonated or “fizzy” drinks To prevent gas from forming, chew a fresh piece of ginger regularly after meals. You can also add small amounts of dried or fresh ginger to your food. Drinking ginger tea can help control the formation of gas in the stomach. Boil one tablespoon of ground ginger in water for a few minutes. Drink this tea two or three times a day.

Dear Your mother has fissure which is due to constipation and passage of hard faeces, Suggest: 1.Give emollient laxative like Duohaklax or cremaffin plus at night. 2.Give naturolax granules one sachet with a glass full of water at night or Isabgol powder 3-4 tsf in glass full of water at night. 3.Apple Zinc ointment inside and twice a day. This is a castor oil based ointment like a nappy rash cream. 4. Increase fluid intake 5.Five high fibre diet in form of green leafy vegetable, fruits like papaya, banana , mango etc. 6.If she can do some exercise in the bed 7. If she is still constipated then use suppository for toilet 8 If that doesn't work then use enema which are available in market regularly. Dr. Kiran Mehta.

So it is good to get operations in this case? 2 operations? They must remove gallbladder for taking stones? No other options? She has pain in stomach always. Vomiting.Severe pain.

Hello, the symptoms are s/o gastric reflux. In which the acid from stomach gets refluxed into lower oesophagus (food pipe, leading to burping and heartburn mimicking chest pain. You have to start a complete course of proton pump inhibitors i. E. Antacid. Eat bland foods, do not lie down immediately after meals. Drink plenty of water. Avoid tea and coffee, gap between meals should not be more than 4 hrs. If symptoms still persist, consult a physician.

This is regarding my mother - 69 years, chronic Asthma patient. Here is the history of her illness : - Diagnosed with Colon Cancer stage 4 (after a colon blockage was detected in Hospital in Bhubaneswar in Nov 2014, she was taken to Manipal Hospital in Bangalore for treatment and went through Right hemicolectomy surgery) followed by a full body PET CT scan in Jan 2015. - 4 CAPOX Chemo cycles were done at Manipal Hospital and a follow-up Abdomen/Pelvis CT scan was done in Mar 2015. The scan reports showed visible progress - 5th CAPOX was done in Bhubaneswar and during that chemo WBC counts went down - 6th CAPOX was done in Bhubaneswar on 2nd May and WBC counts reduced further. - 7th CAPOX was done in Bhubaneswar on 23rd May And either after 6th or 7th Chemo she had not taken all the prescribed medications (Floxacin?). She had very bad fever/breathing issues and was taken to Casualty for treatment with a bad oral thrush and urine infection. Because of her health condition, the 8th planned CAPOX cycle was skipped. Follow up CT scan was done in Nov 2015 - and the disease had worsened. She was advised second line of chemo with FOLFIRI with Erbitux. 5 Cycles of FOLFIRI Erbitux was given (Erbitux was given every week). She then had a very bad Asthma/COPD attack and was advised to stop chemo in Feb 2016. In May 2016 she again had a major COPD attack and was admitted to ICU for 6 days. After recovery she complained about discomfort in the lower abdomen area. The ultrasound reports found a very large mass in the suprapubic region. She now feels like going to toilet every time she eats something. Also there is pain (feeling as if there is gas) in the lower abdomen area. Please advise what would be the next phase of treatment. We would like to do whatever possible to make her go through minimal suffering during her last days If needed I can share all the CT scan and ultrasound reports via email. The last ultrasound was done on Aug 06th 2016 with the impression : A fairly large mass with cystic and solid components measuring 132x99x151 mm (approx volume 1044 cc) is noted in suprapubic region. Irregularly marginated hypoechoic masses with punctate calcifications also noted in the right paracolic region, the largest measuring about 55x33 mm
