Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having wrist/thumb pain though there may not be any pathological reasons. It is due to over strain of the writing muscles and also due to lack of blood circulation. To reduce the pain & to make you feel comfortable Wrist Brace so that you will feel warm, comfortable and very protective . . If you keep ice that would help to reduce the pain and feel relaxed and comfortable. You shall also do hot water fermentation that would improve the blood circulation to the painful area and thereby the pain would be reduced.

Kindly show me photograph& the x rays of the affected part.(feet) rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. U must b having cervical problem. In this condition pain radiates in your shoulder, arm and forearm region. But depends patient to patient. Secondly, pain radiates in shoulder blade region too. So see a good physiotherapist. Thank you.

My father is 79 years old. He is having an acute knee pains. We get x-ray for knee and xray shows a gap in knees. What should he do.

Dear its common at this age.try the tips to cure knee joint pain.. 1.Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. 2. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling 3.Peel two cloves of garlic and crush it. Add this to a glass of milk. Boil it on a mild flame till one-fourth glass remains. Filter and make two equal parts. Drink one part in the morning and the other in the evening. 4.Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). 5. Take 1/2 tsf castor oil with milk at night once a week. 6. Walk 1 km daily early morning and do yoga asana it will help.

Sir/madam I am having heavy left shoulder pain the pain starts from shoulder and up to left arm knee intolerable pain I take hifenac p for past one month but no use. 1. Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. 2. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. 3. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. 4. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. 5. Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. 1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. I am 38 year old male, have a travelling job, average weight (80Kg Height 174 cm (5" 8. I am having pain in my right Knee. I have got an X-Ray done; no issues with Bones. There is a kind of throbbing pain on right side of right knee when kept in folded position; also have slight pain on inner side left of the right knee. I am walking and working without much discomfort but while sitting and lying down pain is felt. I have applied Crepe Bandage in night with a pain balm.

Hello. I have gone through your question about knee pain. I understand your concern. I feel that these symptoms are because of your weight. You will have to reduce your weight. Atleast 15 kg over 2 years period. You need diet modification. Stop oily food. Don't eat rice at night. Very low calories diet at night atleast 2 hours prior to sleeping. Take vitamin B12 medicines. Calcium and Vitamin D medicines. You will feel better.

If the fracture fragment is displaced surgery is better option for early recovery and prevent the complication. Or if fracture is minor or hair line crack pop is better.

I am suffering from s type of scoliosis any my age is 20 recently I visit gangaram hospital delhi he said that surgery is required is there any process to stop the curve and after the age 20 curve is processing? Any risk in surgery.

Hi you have been rightly advised corrective surgery to restore curvature, few surgeons put Harrington's rod to maintain spine ,others follow up with scoliosis brace there are minimal risks in expert hands. At young ages there's good healing and recovery as joints of spine are more flexible than in older age group. Avoiding surgery may progress deformity. Best wishes.
