Hi lybrate-user here are some changes to make to improve your eating habits: - incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating.

Weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. Some tips 1) drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take ? of your total as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests.

Hello lybrate-user, most diet fails because they are low calorie and low fat. Calorie counting does not work. Instead of correcting metabolism, this kind of diet make you feel low energy or makes you feel excessively hungry. If you are doing regular exercise, it will increase your fitness but it may not reduce weight much. I am sure you did not gain this much weight suddenly but over a period of time. To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If you have tried this in past or if it does not work, then approach us for weightloss package of 6 months by lifestyle modification - combination of nutritional plan, stress management, exercise prescription for your current fitness level and sleep improvement, (if required). 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Brisk walks or jogging for 45 - 60 minutes every day. My best wishes.

sedentary life can cause abdominal fat, for that u should manage ur dirt plan, avoid rice, potato, sweets. take green vegetables, walk atleast 45 min, do crunches, skipping and don't sit after taking meal walk at least 15 min...drink lukewarm water in morning...

Breathing Exercises to Lose Belly Fat Let us briefly understand on how these work. Oxygen acts as fuel for the body. The extra oxygen that you inhale while performing the breathing exercises result in certain chemical reactions that in turn burns up more calories than you actually take in. You lose extra fat. Pavanmuktasan – for practising Pavanmuktasan, take a deep breath as you lie on your back. Bend you left knee, hold your toes and pull it towards your stomach. Simultaneously lift your head and touch your bent knee. Your other leg must be straight. Breathe in and count ten. Return to your original position and breathe out. Repeat the set with your right leg. Bhujangasan – for practising Bhujangasan lie on your stomach and place your hands under your shoulders. Lift your torso backwards using only the back muscles and not your hands. Hold your breath for 5-10 seconds and slowly return to your original position as you breathe out. Dhanurasan – Lie on your stomach and bend your knees. Hold your ankles as you breathe in. Push your body outwards in the shape of a bow and pull your head back as much as possible. Hold this position for 10 seconds and release the posture as you slowly breathe out. Exercises for Losing Belly Fat Some very simple but effective exercises to Lose Belly Fat Stretch 1 – Lie down on a floor mat. Position your legs vertically up and stay in this position for 5 to 15 seconds. This can be repeated thrice. Stretch 2 – Lie down on a floor mat. Stretch your legs straight. Place your hands behind your head and lock your fingers. Now raise your torso and bring it towards your knees. Stay in this position for 5 to 10 seconds and slowly return to your lying position. Repeat this for 15 times in sets of 5. Stretch on Chair – Lie down on a floor mat and position yourself with a chair so as to raise your legs on the chair. Your legs should be at 90 degree to the rest of your body. Place your hands behind your head and clasp your fingers. Now lift your torso and rise up as if you want to touch the knees. Continue for 15 minutes and repeat in sets of 3 or 4. Cycling – Lie down on a floor mat. Raise your legs and rotate them as if you are pedalling a cycle vigorously. Repeat the exercise for five minutes in sets of three.

If you don’t have iron willpower, then hunger will cause you to give up on these plans quickly plus all you lose is unhealthy muscle mass and the fats are still around. Eating sensibly and as per your body's nutrient needs will reduce your appetite significantly, Make you lose weight healthily without hunger and improve your metabolic health at the same time. Here are some tips to help you lose weight. Eat a high-protein breakfast. Eating a high-protein breakfast has been shown to reduce cravings and calorie intake throughout the day. Avoid sugary drinks and fruit juice. These are the most fattening things you can put into your body, and avoiding them can help you lose weight. Drink water a half hour before meals. Drinking water a half hour before meals increased weight loss by suppressing appetite and avoiding overeating. Choose seasonal foods. Eat smaller but more frequent meals. Eat soluble fiber. Eat fruits and vegetables. Eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods. Base most of your diet on whole foods. Hi, lybrate-user there could be many reasons for weight gain. When you gain weight then obviously several other problems arises. To lose weight we need to focus upon some basic food plan like cutting down on grains and sugar. This helps immediately. We should avoid processed food.
